When visiting the West Coast , more specifically Veldrift / DwarsKersBos, this is where you want to stay. Quaint little apartment, extremely well equipped with beautiful furniture. Peaceful surroundings & the hosts are most helpful, friendly & accommodating. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Really enjoyed the space that Gerda provides. There are quite a number of places to sleep. View is fantastic and very safe.

Lovely central location. Two minutes walk to the beach. Clean spacious room with all necessary appliances and everything we needed. Marita is friendly and considerate and we enjoyed the home made melk tert, biscuits and rusks. Real West coast hospitality. Will definitely return one day soon.

Seeing is believing. The pictures are true. But to your own eyes it's breathtaking. What a lovely unit we had. All set for self catering, the bed was so comfortable, the unit was clean, spacious and so comfortable. The shop they have at the back walking distance with fish, ice, wood and a few other items, loved it. Thank you so much again for an amazing time. We will be back to visit this Gem of a place again

Super location, well equipped accommodation Anytime again

Fantastic location right on the beach! Less than 10 minutes walk to Spar and around 15 minutes walk to harbour restaurants and bird island. Also nice outdoor area with large braai pit. Christelle was very helpful, providing clear info on how to enter the property and also notifying us in advance when loadshedding was scheduled.

Wir haben uns bei Sharon sehr sehr wohlgefühlt, vor allem die direkte Nähe zum Meer war für und besonders, das Rauschen des Meers zu hören, morgens die große Tür zu öffnen und damit auf unserer Terrasse direkt in der Natur zu sein…wir würden Sharon’s Apartment immer wieder buchen. Danke für die schöne Zeit.

This Was an ideal space for our group of freinds. Very tidy, clean and spacious. Great place for families to unwind. Very hospitable with pool and trampoline. Sitting on the sofa watching the sun go down is an absolute treat and relaxing! Ideal for us!

Beautiful stay for our anniversary. Peaceful walking distance to point break for my surfer husband. Amazing pool and deck area and everything you need for a time away, definitely bring everything you need with you as there’s only a small shop with very basics in it.

What a fantastic place with great sea views. The apartment is located right across the harbour and main beach which makes it a very short walk to get your feet in the sand. There is a nice area to sit outside and look over the ocean while having a braai. Very nice rooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Felt very safe as the place has an active alarm system as well. We really enjoyed our stay and had a great Christmas at the sea. Hihly recommended.

This house is definitely worth every penny. While laying in a bed in the morning you will hear the ocean and feel it all the time. Great place to spend time with friends or family.

An absolutely stunning place - we loved every moment at Emma's beach house! This property is quite literally a stones throw from a gorgeous little rocky bay, in which we had two great days of crayfish diving and kayaking. There are sandy beaches a two minute walk to the left, which makes swimming and sunbathing easy, and means that the spot offers something for the whole family. We watched a few impressive sunsets from the patio, and had a great evening at the outside fire. Perfectly set up for families that like to be in the ocean and share time around the fire / dinner table. Easy check-in courtesy of the security company headquarters behind the house (nice to be completely safe, too!). We will certainly be back!

this is not our first time in the Cape Town area but the first time we have ventured north. it's very different country with largely flatlands as you drive up but with a range of mountains visible in the distance north east from the holday home. the location of the house is beyond perfect sitting directly on the beach which someone told us was about 264km in length (not fact checked!). the neighbouring area is very pleasant with a small shop 5 minutes drive but we found the Spa in the bigger town of Velddrif, 15 minutes drive far better stocked. the town also has some great places to eat and drink with fish & chips from Die Vis Vlekhuis and pizza and gin specialities of Charlies Brewhouse. I can't recommend highly enough for a place to recharge and thank Liezl (owner) and Mariette (property manager) enough for a great visit. we'll be back!!

Wow , ons het die lekkerste vakansie gehad alles wat mens nodig het, loop afstand van die see af . Kan lekker rond stap . Ons gaan defnitief terug.

Nice and modern apartment, well equipped. Nice view on the ocean. Very quiet neighbourhood. The ocean is not really for sunbathing since there are many shells and seaweed at the beach. But it is really nice for long walks and sitting on a bench and watchibg the sunsety Does not have a stove BUT that does not matter since there is an airfryer and it is super easy to use and you can cook so many things with it! Was really nice. Also there is an electric pot which you can use as well. We really didnt miss anything and felt right at home.

Just a stone throw away from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean in all her glory. The beach has an abundance of flat stones, making it a mecca for someone who enjoys stone-skippimg whilst taking in the amazing views. The beach is pristine, and you'll see the random (large) crayfish just walking past you as if going for a stroll. So many west coast mussels all around too. The area is very quiet, with the occasional spotting of anotber resident. The closest shop is in the next town, a short drive away. The rest of the space is beautifully designed, functional, good braai area. Flowy lounge and kitchen area. Good strong wifi, fully equipped for self catering, lovely outside braai area.
