Alan is a fantastic host - he popped by in person but was also responsive by text when I had a query or two. The house is perfect for a group and the large kitchen and living room was great for spending time together. The house was well equipped with various things you might need - glasses for fizz, speakers, HDMI cables etc. The view is also lovely. Would recommend!

Spent a lovely time over Christmas... nice walk to the town along a promenade type path (dog loved the pebbled beach). Great views over the water, lovely big dining table for us all to get together for dinner, enough space for us all to do our different things ...and enjoyed a couple of dips in the hot tub at the end of a fun day! Didn't travel too much around the area, but Dunoon itself was nice and took a walk round nearby puck's glen which was worth the visit if you like country walks All in all, great place to stay Thanks Cam

The Old Nunnery was easy to find. Entry was supposed to be a key code lock but this was broken. We could enter but not lock the door. One phone call and Tom who was looking after the property immediately attended and arranged for a locksmith. A new lock was fitted within a couple of hours which was brilliant. The house is large and provided great accommodation for the family. We were comprised of adults and older teens giving them space to socialise and play games but also space for everyone to watch a film together. Huge kitchen and dining room perfect as we took all our meals together creating a very special Christmas. We were 15 in total and it did not feel crowded.the kitchen has lots of crockery and cutlery and a fantastic bar area. Hot tub steam room and sauna which was greatly enjoyed. There are sone artworks as mentioned in previous reviews which might not be suitable for younger children. The views are stunning and many a morning spent watching the seals. Short drive to shops

Beautiful stay. Hosts were lovely and accommodating. The lodge was easy to find as per instructions and we were blown away by how clean it was, spotless! Very useful amenities provided too and a helpful book on everything they had, places we could go etc. We had lovely views and the hot tub was great. Close drivable distance to Loch Lomond too with lovely walk with our dog. I couldn’t fault it.

I will be booking the apartment next visit if available and will recommend to anyone who is visiting balloch. Way above anywhere I have stayed on previous visits might be biased as it's my first time using air BnB. Thank you so much for making this visit so memorable.

The Summer House exceeded our expectations. It is more spacious than it looks on the photos. It is very nicely furnished and decorated and is cosy and warm. Penny has thought of everything to make your stay an enjoyable one . Her directions to get there were easy to follow and she recommended several places for us to visit also with clear directions . Archie, her husband , is also very knowledgeable about the island and is very approachable. All in all, we had a lovely time and would highly recommend a stay at Knockenkelly.

I had a fantastic stay at the wee cottage! It’s a beautiful location with stunning views. The cottage itself was cozy and comfortable and felt like home away from home.

Tom and Cathy were amazing with me for my two nights stay at his property over New Year Couldn’t fault it - the place has actually been re-decorated since the pictures and is done so to a lovely standard. Such a home away from home and a great base to explore local attractions. Will definitely look to stay again for. Thank you so much for having me.

Just back from spending Xmas day & Boxing Day at The Retreat Check in was easy & the accommodation itself was immaculate and a beautiful location Leah & Gary had decorated for us with beautiful lights & Xmas tree which made our stay extra special They had also left a bottle of Prosecco for us & left breakfast pack and milk which was a lovely & kind gesture The accommodation had everything we needed , towels , bedding , everything you could think of We really couldn’t speak highly enough of the hosts and their accommodation and we can’t wait to book up again

Cottage was very well equipped with everything you would need for cooking your own meals. I thought it was a lovely touch that ruth had incuded everything from cleaning products, toilet tissue, kitchen roll. And also the lovely prosecco cheese and oatcakes that was left for us. We all had a lovely time and wouldn't hesitate to return in the future if we ever visit Arran again. Thank you Ruth for a lovely time.

I had a very comfortable stay with my dog Bud and Liz was very helpful checking us in. The room had everything we needed and there was a park nearby which was great for dog owners.

We always love our stay here. Vicki is the perfect host and the location is great for exploring Loch Lomond. Will always use Vicki’s place to stay when we’re in the area. She is super helpful and gives recommendations & directions! Also, lovely touches in the air bnb for us and our dog 🐶

Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

Everything as described, a good host, Therese gave us information about local bakers and some eating establishments which were excellent. We would certainly go again, the weather was in our favour, which was another bonus

The most perfect location for a hen party! Chris was the most amazing host with all his information to ensure the stay was as perfect as it could have been! Chris was always on hand if anything was required and always ready to answer questions along with giving recommendations! Location was perfect in a very quiet neighbourhood with a 5 minute walk to the train station to get straight into the centre of Glasgow in no time! Would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

David is very friendly. He helped me with my difficulties during my stay here. It was part of my trip to Scotland, but I travel here with very good memories.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at James's caravan. The views are stunning and the area is situated within easy reach of various other attractions and places to visit. Would highly recommend.
