What a gem! We had an incredible stay and felt right at home for the holidays! It was spacious and had all the amenities, plus the charm and character of the old inn. The location was perfect, both for landscape views and day trip travel. We took full advantage of the connector trail to the state park. We hope to visit again!

Truly beautiful location and home. The bunk beds were free from squeaks, bathroom was nice, and the main house was welcoming. There were many options for breakfast and the hosts were very kind. Everything as advertised.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Karyl ! On a été très bien reçu. Nous avons pu profiter de moments agréables dans leur chaleureux salon. Très bonne ambiance avec les autres voyageurs. Le dortoir était très propre, on nous a donné des couvertures supplémentaires pour la nuit un peu fraîche. Petit plus : grand choix pour le petit-déjeuner, c'était délicieux. On reviendra certainement l'été prochain !

Awesome hosts, so friendly and welcoming! The location is beautiful on the side of the lake. And the house is so cool and comfortable. Highly recommend!!

We stayed here to ski in nearby Stowe, it’s less than a 20min drive and the hotel itself is fairly clean with comfortable beds and sheets.

Our stay worked out really well. The outside of the grounds is well maintained and backs to large open space. The room itself was clean and functional, offering more space than a regular hotel room. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends/family.

Our stay in the suite was wonderful. The room opens to a lovely stream in the back that was so convenient for taking our dog out and relaxing after enjoying Stowe. The room was spacious and well laid out. The hotel was also kind and accommodating when I needed a late check-out due to an unforeseen personal issue. I will definitely come back the next time I am visiting Stowe!

Our stay with our Labrador was great. Very comfortable dog biscuits at reception was a nice touch. The small lounge and fireplace was so relaxing and our dog was with us. I would recommend to anyone who would like to travel to Stowe with their dog. Very easy going, nice people and comfortable.

would stay there again in a heartbeat. location to the mountain can't be beat unless staying mountainside. Everything we needed. I hit the slopes in the morning while the family went down for breakfast....the cafe is certainly one of the coolest in the area and seemed to have the fire going regularly. easy bus to the hill. very clean, quaint room.

This is a great place to stay at. Skiing has become a pretty expensive sport mainly due to food and lodging and it's great that these places with basic amenities still exist. The rooms have a very dorm feeling to them. Walls are thin and bathrooms shared which may not be for everyone but I had no real issues or problems. having free coffee and discount at the café is great. Also, you will be very close to the shuttle stop to Stowe and save on weekend parking prices. Everything was reasonably clean, and if it wasn't, you can always message the host and they will take care of it. Final point is the decent internet and being able to work at the café was a big plus. Overall greatly recommended if you are looking for inexpensive and practical lodging!

The recently built Treehouse was great to stay in. It was steps from the Lodge and all of the action, as well as a few trails, but was also very quiet due to its location. Would stay again.
