Luis’ place was more than we had hoped for! It exceeded our expectations in regards to the landscape, cabin space, and cleanliness. The sheets felt hotel-like and the kitchen was stocked with every dish, appliance, and product that we needed for our weekend stay. Luis was proactive in his communication, sharing all the details we needed for check-in and check-out. Fantastic place—would recommend to anyone!

We loved staying at the river house. Beautiful view of the river and comfy accommodations. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful- even bringing over flowers for Thanksgiving. The place was nicely decorated for the season. When it snowed, they brought over some sleds for the kids. I would love to come back in the summer! Only drawbacks were that the heating was a bit uneven in the main room with all of the windows, but it warmed up nicely with a fire in the fireplace- which is a great touch. The water smells very sulphur-y, but that’s common in wells near the river. Being from the area originally it didn’t bother me too much. Thank you Cassie and Shana! We had a great time.

What a hidden gem in the heart of Perth. This property gives the feel of being in a countryside estate, with astounding views from all rooms. Nestled in the trees, surrounded by the sounds of a flowing river, and as quiet as can be. 1 minute walk to the famous Stewart Park, boutiques, restaurants and amazing kids play area. The actual home is breath taking. The character of the old stone cottage has been maintained, while every corner of the home is thoughtfully decorated, cozy, creative, clean, charismatic, and inviting. 3 large bedrooms, comfortable beds, massive bathrooms, and the kitchen has everything for a chef! The living room is bright with stunning views of the river. Perfect home for anyone to enjoy in any season. The host is incredibly responsive and helpful. Would stay here forever!

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

We had an amazing time at Pete’s. The location was perfect, we had our own private beach. The kids enjoyed the provided kayaks and water toys. Our dogs lived in the water for 7 days. The house is much bigger than it appears in photos, and has ample room for a large family or group.

Lovely, clean, spacious cottage well-fitted for our two families including kids and grandparents. Nice retro homey vibe. Comfortable beds and beautiful view of the lake. We visited in winter but there's a nice outdoor area with a small sandy beach. A few other cottages around but feels fairly private and has nice deck or upstairs balcony to enjoy morning coffee. Note if you're used to city grocery stores, the local store in Westport is a bit small so you may want to plan accordingly if feeding a large group. We didn't get cell service at the house; wireless was occasionally slow, but fine for streaming services. Two nice desks for work space.

Leah was very helpful in making sure our stay went seamless. Took care of plowing/snowblowing to make the property accessible to all areas of interest as with going had some awful weather.(Snow with more Snow). lol. Again she was very responsive with questions I had and Informative to the specifics of the area. Cozy spot, great to relax and unwind. Would definitely go again, perhaps a great summertime spot.

Brianna and Devin were amazing hosts to have. They came and greeted us a few minutes after we arrived and showed us how everything worked. The place was lovely, cozy and private. The hot tub was ready for use and clean as well. Would definitely come back again ! Highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay! The space was warm, inviting, and all it was advertised to be. It was exactly what we needed—a comfortable and peaceful spot to relax. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to check in a bit early. The personal touches really made the place feel like a home away from home. Thank you Ryan!! This listing is the perfect escape from the city and has EVERYTHING you need. The host was very responsive, walked us through setting up a fire. Even in the craziest of snowstorms it was cozy and warm. Gorgeous decor. Comfortable couch. Couldn't say enough nice words!! Some airbnbs you can tell the host has never actually stayed there because they are missing dishes etc or it's not set up nicely. This place was PERFECT and you can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space and has stayed there themselves. Will have to be back!!!!!!!

Serene says it all. We felt so at home in this beautiful, private and quiet place. We took in amazing views from dock where we relaxed with the propane fire pit and cozied under the heavy wool blankets she provided. Kitchen was awesome with everything we needed. Living room was very comfortable. There is little cell coverage, but if you use wifi calling, we had no issues taking and making calls. Internet connection was great. Linda was very responsive, attentive and accurate in all she described. She left a personal welcome card, homemade jam and a bone for our dog. Very dog friendly. Super classy and went beyond our expectations. The cottage is newly renovated and had so many personal touches to make it feel just right. And the bed was so comfortable, it was hard to leave the bedroom. Amazing! We hope to be back soon with friends. Linda own the cottage beside which is a little more rustic but just as charming. Great for a larger group who want to be together but need

We were looking for a quiet fall cabin getaway and this provided us with exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was located on a fairly private section in the trees. There was a walking trail near by and access to the water and a dock. By traveling in the off season the park was pretty quiet. 😊 The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the cozy inside comforts of home as well as the great deck and wonderful forest and river view. Mike, the park manager, was very friendly and helpful. He greeted us upon our arrival and showed us to our cabin making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. There was a bit of a grumpy resident camper who came over to complain as soon as we arrived because our dogs were playing and burning off some steam after being in the car for a couple hours. The dogs were both on long lines, but he claimed the dogs were loud & he was going to complain to the park manager about us. If he did we didn’t hear about it.

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

Such a great spot! Quiet, cozy and straight forward with everything needed for a relaxing and genuine rural Canada experience. A perfect place for a couple to get away and enjoy! Highly recommended!

Arriving at the cottage was how the pictures were. We went in March and it was cold, but walking into the cottage part the heat was on and we felt right at home. Kitchen & bathroom well stocked. The fireplace was great to have to add warmth. Beautiful scenery looking over the lake from a chair or sofa. A place we would rent again.

We had a great stay at The Boathouse. The cabin is cosy and cute, and very tastefully decorated and stocked for a winter stay - from cute little knick-knacks on the bookshelf, to old National Geographics to take a little nostalgic trip back in time, as well as interesting books to leaf through for a stay in and fun games to play. Cindy and her family were very welcoming and accommodating, from providing headlamps when we forgot ours to well-stocked snowshoes if you want to explore nearby trails. beautiful sunsets and sunrises as well! we cooked a few of our meals and thought that while the kitchen is generally well stocked, could maybe do with a refreshing of the utensils (maybe more spatulas/turners). the shower was also a bit tight for my bf (he is 6'3). thank you Cindy and family for an overall wonderful stay!

This was our first Airbnb stay ever, so I was a little nervous, but this place was amazing and our host Michael was VERY helpful and accommodating. Made lots of great memories with my family. 10/10 recommend. We will absolutely be back again soon!

Our retreat at the cabin was just what we needed. The walk to the waterfront was a beautiful easy hike on the path/road on the property!e found the kitchen stocked with everything we needed, s as was the bathroom. The beds were comfortable with quality linen. We loved the homey feel of this country cabin and enjoyed the atmosphere and property! My favourite part was the photo album of the restoration of this historical building. You did beautiful job respecting its history while bringing it into this century😊 Thank you so much for opening this treasure up to us.
