Second time using this home - works well for our needs!

From the very beginning, Tim was extremely attentive and answered all of my questions immediately. I knew what to expect as soon as I walked in. The house fit 2 families and 2 large lazy dogs without feeling cramped. Having water access was amazing, the kids fished all day while the parents enjoyed time on the patio. The kids were able to take kayaks out to fish as well. The water grass made it a little difficult to keep an eye on the kids from the patio area, but not enough to be a problem. The water is very shallow but we were able to park our rented boat (Mac's Boat Rental-super awesome to the kids) without a problem. This house is exactly what we were looking for; private, waterfront and allowed dogs heavier that 20lbs-which is difficult to find. This house was a gem and we will gladly rent again! Thanks Tim!

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

Jen was very responsive. The place was beautiful and exactly as described. Very peaceful location and within walking distance of the hills.

This beautifully appointed home was a perfect getaway. The peaceful lake with no cottages on the far side was clean and great for boating or swimming right off the dock. We enjoyed loons, herons, owls and a bunny. We hiked at Gould lake, swam, fished from the rowboat, had a campfire and watched stars from zero gravity chairs with no light pollution. A wonderful stay! You can really feel the warmth of this family home. it's just enough to really feel the love but not in a way that makes you feel like you're in someone else's space. the kitchen was well equipped with literally everything and was in good condition. Every room was clean and warm. Check in was seamless. Josh was responsive and generous. The kids space was fantastic for our 2.5 year old and the boardgame collection was awesome for the big kids. We hope to make a future reservation to take advantage of the property in the summer months. It's a good meeting point between Montreal and Toronto families. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Randa Catherine's apartment is in a great part of town, within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Very clear instructions, would recommend for a short stay.

The host gave very clear instructions for check-in and was very responsive across the whole process. The Airbnb was incredibly charming and clean, I felt comfortable in the suite, the bed itself is also very comfortable. It is also close to downtown Brockville with lots to eat and see, so you will have the chance to keep yourself busy! I absolutely loved staying here, and I think anyone else would too, I 100% recommend this Airbnb as somewhere to stay!

Jeremy's place is a perfect spot for a getaway. Clean, private, quiet and a great location. We look forward to returning in the summer to have some fun on the water. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone, check out a show at the Neat Cafe just a short walk away.

Angel's place was the perfect home base for exploring Calabogie. The airbnb matched the description perfectly and I felt right at home. Angel had even gone out of her way to loan me a vest because she knew that I would be hiking during hunting season - such a thoughtful touch!

We were only there for one night, but it was exactly what we we were looking for and plan to return.

Dee's place (and Dee herself) is a true gem. She put so much care and thought into preparing for our stay and even left the sweetest birthday gift for me! She is very personable, friendly, and accommodating. My friends were impressed with the find and said "the pictures didn't do it justice". The space was clean, homey, and she went above and beyond in providing helpful instructions and all sorts of creature comforts for her guests. We felt like family!

I would definitely recommend this oasis of a cottage. So peaceful so clean. Fully stocked with everything we needed. Going on the off season was so serene beautiful cottage and the view was amazing. You definitely have to watch the sunrise.

There were a total of 5 families (9 adults and 2 kids ages 2.5 years and 1 year). We enjoyed the side by side cottages and that allowed for some separation of families with and without kids. Cottages were quite clean and modern with good amenities. It was a very quiet neighborhood. There were watercrafts available for an additional (very reasonable) fee and we really enjoyed being on the water. We had easy access to the water. There were fire pits and hot tub, which we did not use. You’ll have to take the garbage out to the dump on your way out and there are pre-paid garbage tags. The process was easy and straightforward. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Michael's place was perfect for a quick winter get-away! It was stocked with everything we needed for the weekend and beautiful on the inside and out. Michael was really responsive when we had questions and made sure we had all the information needed. Would definitely visit again!

Thank you Ryan!! This listing is the perfect escape from the city and has EVERYTHING you need. The host was very responsive, walked us through setting up a fire. Even in the craziest of snowstorms it was cozy and warm. Gorgeous decor. Comfortable couch. Couldn't say enough nice words!! Some airbnbs you can tell the host has never actually stayed there because they are missing dishes etc or it's not set up nicely. This place was PERFECT and you can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space and has stayed there themselves. Will have to be back!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful time at Blake’s cottage. We enjoyed the relaxation, BQQ, and walking around the village of Westport, which was very close by. Our dog really enjoyed the property and town as well. We recommend the Lost Penny Pub in Westport for a drink and food. Thank you so much to Blake and Lizzie!

Setting was tranquil & beautiful, overlooked the river with private pontoon to sit on/launch kayaks from (rented from the host). Paddling the river was great fun. Fire pit was lovely in the evenings. You can buy logs from the host. Cabin is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Andrew and his family were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. Killaloe was a 7 min drive away with a Freshmart, and a great wholefood shop (Grandmas Pantry). Would recommend for anyone looking for a getaway/peace and quiet. Thanks Andrew and family!

Very cozy stay! We stayed during a winter storm and the wood stove kept us warm. It was also very clean and had a nice full kitchen. The location is very nice and feels private as well.

We spent three lovely late winter nights. The cottage was clean, spacious and very inviting. My wife and I loved the sauna and my kids loved the hot tub. We cozied up in the evening watching movies, puzzling and playing cards. The deck with the fire pit was a favourite spot for a morning coffee looking at the frozen lake. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to escape the city and unwind for a getaway as a couple or family. Hosts were fantastic!
