We needed a quiet peaceful location and got exactly that. The accommodation was immaculately clean. We would definitely come back. The hosts are excellent.

We loved our stay at Granny House and we’re hoping to return. Very well appointed, spotless and comfortable. A great place for friends or family.

We have just spent the week at Gill’s property in preparation for Christmas and all the ‘in-between’ days (where you don’t know what day of the week it is, or if you’re even still in December.) We were hoping for relaxation, in the middle of the country, with a crackling fire and lots of walks which is exactly what we had! We visited the local pubs (not walkable but in very close driving distance) and found some beautiful walks that were truly incomparable to our London/Essex surroundings. Gill was on hand for anything and everything and was very responsive before, during and after our visit. Gill was very welcoming and truly accommodating. The property was lovely, and felt very spacious for a 2 bed. We had a wonderful time in Yorkshire and will definitely be returning again in the near future.

Great stay, highly recommended. Janet is a great and friendly communicator. Regular updates before the stay. Clear comms and directions. Easy to find if you follow the instructions! Very safe and quiet country location, star filled Skys. Nearby river sounds amazing. Safe short country lane walk to local pub, very friendly, affordable and good quality pub food. We stayed for a Pen Y Gent climb which is only 20mins away. All pictures and amenities correct. Place was spotless and smelt fresh. Nice check in touches, fresh flowers and milk etc… Was not wanting for anything. Kitchen fully complimented. Nice and warm heating etc… Very comfy large and soft bed. Clean bathroom and a great shower. Thanks Janet and John!!

I had a great stay at the barn. Ann was a great host, very attentive and friendly. All round a good place to visit the Howgill fells and south lakes from. I will certainly be back.

We stayed at Lorraine's place for a month whilst we were waiting for completion on our new house. We found the house tidy & with everything we would need for our stay. The kitchen had everything you would need for cooking/cleaning during your stay. The views at the back of the house & lovely! Our 3 year old enjoyed seeing the ponies everyday. Lorraine is a lovely host who is very responsive & happy to help. Would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable & cosy place to stay. 😊

The stay at the farm in the barn house was beautiful. Me and my fiancé took our 3 dogs and it could not have been anymore perfect. The barn was rustic with character and very cosy by the log burner fire. The scenery and views are stunning, especially in the hot tub. The hot tub BBQ area was enclosed which was ideal, we could let our poochies run around whilst we relaxed in the tub. Richard was incredibly welcoming and friendly and very accommodating. He shown us around his farm and we got to meet his cows. We enjoyed it so much that we booked an extra night! 100% worth the money and will definitely be returning in the future. A beautiful house, in a glorious location, overlooking a golf course. Tom and Sarah were great hosts, who responded quickly to any queries. The open plan kitchen/dining/living area was great to gather and relax in. Beds were very comfortable and linen was spotless. The hot tub was an added bonus and great to spend time in on a cold winter evening! Very happy to recommend to other potential visitors.

We had a lovely peaceful break at Apple Tree Cottage. Anna and Giles provided very clear directions so it was easy to find. The surroundings were beautiful and the cottage felt remote and peaceful, but we were only a short drive from lots of great walks and interesting things to see and do. The cottage itself is modern, cosy, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed.

The cottage was cosy, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. The welcome pack and treats were very delicious and an added bonus. It was in a really good location and the view of Ingleborough was stunning.

Lovely weekend stay, beautiful cottage and surrounding area. Place felt like home with lots of nice little touches.

It doesn’t get much better than a glorious spring morning—blue skies above, sunshine on your face, and the simple pleasure of relaxing in a hot tub while watching lambs gambol playfully in the next field. The views across the Ribble Valley to Pendle Hill are wonderful. We were lucky with the weather, but honestly, this is the kind of place that’s perfect no matter the season. Even if the skies turn grey, the cosy charm of the shepherd’s hut makes it a wonderfully snug retreat. The hut itself has everything you could possibly need. It was immaculately clean, beautifully finished, and clearly cared for to a very high standard. Catherine was a great host—friendly, responsive, and welcoming. If you’re after a peaceful escape in stunning surroundings, look no further. This place is an absolute gem

We could not fault our stay with Jim and Jeanette. From questions before booking and right through our stay the hosts were extremely responsive and even sent us recommendations and contact details of the local areas beforehand. Jim checked us in and went through the whole cottage with us, so friendly. The accommodation itself is the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed in, the hot tub was absolutely spotless, so clean. We felt right at home right away and again even extra touches for our doggo too. The most beautiful location, great if you love walking and don’t want to use the car. We cannot wait to return!!

Amazing stay, beautiful views, looks just like the photos

We love it here! It's our second stay and hopefully not our last. Peaceful, private, glorious views and so cosy - especially with the fire going and rain lashing outside. It's even nicer in person than the photos show and the new parking spot and path to the door are great improvements. Barry replied to our questions really quickly and was so helpful and friendly. Can't recommend enough, if in doubt book it now! Hebden bridge has many cafes catering to vegan/gluten/lactose free too. Thanks Barry!

So glad we found this place. Lovely spacious cottage, check in was a breeze. Great to turn up and find the heating on, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, plus other basics supplied. Great location for getting in to Lancaster or to the coast. Ruby 'the excitable Spaniel' even put in a couple of appearances. We'd definitely recommend & will return at some point.

We would highly recommend Sutcliffe Barn. It is cosy, characterful, spotlessly clean and well laid out. Great walks from the door in a very picturesque location. The sauna is fabulous, great to relax in and with beautiful views. Thank you Carolyn and Brian for being such wonderful hosts.

Julian and Sarah Jane’s house was beautiful. It was lovely and warm when we walked in due to the brilliant under floor heating. The house was modern and very bright inside. It was spotlessly clean and smelt amazing as well. The house was well equipped, everything was there. All the appliances worked very well. The bed was super comfy and big. Great views from the house and peace and quiet everywhere. Julian had left lots of little extras which were greatly appreciated. He provided warm throws and binoculars, bird books and more. They had thought of everything one may need on a short trip. We were very lucky with the beautiful spring weather and enjoyed sitting on the deck in the sun. All in all, a really good stay. The best Airbnb we have stayed in so far! We will return for sure.

We absolutely love Julies place! Scrupulously clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a home from home experience. Mattresses are high quality, Smart TV, easily controlled central heating. Brinscall is a cute, picturesque village nestling in the West Pennines. We would love to stay here again and would recommend it in a heartbeat!

Cottage located on smallholding where you are entertained by the hens, cockerels, pigs and sheep! Feels remote and peaceful but within 10 mins drive of amenities. One bathroom, which was very accessible for someone with mobility issues. Lovely treats awaiting us on arrival. A warm welcome and great communication from hosts!
