We stayed over Christmas, gorgeous house, didn’t need to use the car at all, very central location. Lyn was a great host, will definitely book again.

We loved our stay at Pear Tree Cottage, the accommodation is first class, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard, we loved the kitchen and bathroom. The log burning stove a bonus and the ability to park outside was definitely a big plus in a very busy village!! Nick communicated all we needed to know about he cottage and as I'm 6ft 3ins "when and where" to duck! LOL The cottage and Gargrave is an ideal base for the Dales by car or rail, the delightful Embsay Steam Railway and to take on walks to Skipton on the canal and the local area, 2 pubs in the village plus a Co op shop which again is a real benefit. We had a very relaxing stay, we would highly recommend the cottage and hopefully we will be back soon?

Fabulous lodge, beautifully decorated for Christmas with a lovely festive welcome pack waiting for us on arrival. The beds were comfy and a good size unlike other lodges we've stayed in. Peaceful site which is close to plenty of restaurants and other amenities. Good communication from the host. We had a perfect family Christmas staying here and enjoyed it so much, we've already booked another stay.

This was the absolute perfect place to stay for our trip - I grew up in the area and now live in Canada. We came back for a family reunion over New Year (my parents live very close by). Holly was super helpful and always responded very quickly to any queries. The house was very welcoming, clean, very well furnished and well equipped. Very quiet neighbourhood. Very comfortable beds! Check in instructions were very clear and well communicated. Thank you Holly for helping make our trip very special.

This house is as beautiful as looks on the pictures. Very, very clean and tidy, and the decor is very stylish. We loved our stay and would highly recommend. 5 stars for the hosts for this amazing house and thank you again for putting out the birthday banners :)

Cute and comfortable Airbnb right in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale - location was perfect. Lots of nice shops, pubs and coffee shops on our door step. Free parking 5 mins walk away. Would have liked to stay longer

Made to feel very welcome by Erik. Accomodation is great and in a lovely quiet spot. It has everything needed for a stay over with breakfast items also included. Good location for Lancaster and exploring the coast. Will be back.

Beautiful spacious apartment, with every need perfectly catered for. From the coffee machine to the keyless entry (great idea) to parking. Comfy beds. Large rooms. Location is great, easy walking to everything in town and perfect to explore further afield. Communication brilliant. Perfect.

Great place to stay. Lovely area close to Colne and surrounding areas. House was very well stocked- had everything you could need. Would 100% recommend staying there again.

We really enjoyed our stay. It is in a beautiful location with a great space for the dog to explore, the house is spacious and has everything we needed for a few days. Kirby Lonsdale itself has good shops, cafes and places to eat, and there are numerous walks and places to explore not too far - Patrick shared some great recommendations in advance which were very helpful. We look forward to another visit on our next trip to Scotland.

Beautiful place to stay, stayed for 2 weeks, wished it could have been longer. It was perfect, tranquil and just what I needed.

A great few days in Kirkby Lonsdale. We actually arrived a little bit early and Sam responded very quickly to say we could check in right away! The Sewing Box is cosy! We brought our own logs for the log burner- which really added warmth and comfort to our stay; especially during the cold evenings. The stairs in the apartment were VERY steep, however, everything for us was pretty accessible! An added bonus was the fantastic shower!! We had everything we needed to make a simple meal each evening- with shops within walking distance. Right in the centre of the market square, a great location- only a 5/10minutes walk to devils bridge which is just beautiful. We enjoyed walking around the small market on Thursday and had to take this opportunity to buy some gorgeous Sourdough. Would definitely think about staying again- even our four legged friend Otto loved chilling by the fire at night! Thanks Sam for a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay. The cottage is warm and cosy and the log burner was great! Lovely walks in the area too.

The lake house is absolutely stunning. Very open plan and spacious which we loved. Lovely view of the lake and very private. Cosy of a nighttime with the fire on. Was nicely heated. Never too hot or too cold. Had all the amenities we needed to cook. Hot tub was fabulous. The property was well looked after and extremely clean. We had a lovely welcome hamper which we appreciated so much! The only qualms we had was that the glasses were quite dirty so had to re wash those, there was a strange smell in the downstairs en suite bathroom when we arrived, it smelt like stale damp sewage, it improved slightly but never really went away. The bed was also extremely firm so back ached a lot in the morning (however that is personal preference, I do personally sleep on soft beds better) thank you for a wonderful stay. It really was beautiful! Xx
