We loved our stay! Ben gave clear instructions on how to find/access the property, was very responsive, and helpful. The house was spotless, comfortable, had everything you need, and the hot tub was a great perk in the cold winter. An added bonus: there is a waterfall to spot on your drive up to the house.

Our stay was enjoyable, especially with the close proximity to waterfall hiking trails and excellent local cuisine. The backyard was perfect for our dog, and we appreciated the cozy living room and blackout curtains, which made relaxing easy after long days outdoors.

The home was perfect for a weekend getaway. Melissa was very responsive and the home was clean and decorated so cute!

VIEWS !!! This little gem is nestled on the mountain side perfect for a quiet, restful getaway. You really won’t want to leave but if you do, Brevard is easy to get to and the cutest little mountain town. The space was clean and we enjoyed the hot tub, the coziness of the cabin and ability to bring our fur babies. The sunrise and sunset are amazing from the cabin. Simple and beautiful escape!! You won’t regret staying here !

The bungalow is located on a mountain slope with beautiful mountain views. It's very private and relaxing. It has two large verandahs, with a hot tub on the top one, so you can enjoy the views even on a cold day. Inside, the kitchen is spacious and very well equipped, the bedroom has places for you to put your clothing away, and the bed and linens were very comfortable. The inside gets a lot of sunlight, particularly the living room, making it even more cozy. The living room has a TV and gas fireplace. Downstairs you can find the washing and drying machines and a ping pong table. I totally recommend the bungalow for a relaxing vacation. We stayed at the cabin about two months after hurricane Helene passed through the area. While there was a lot of devastation, particularly close to rivers, the area around the cabin has already been cleaned up of any debris. We were still able to find some good hiking around Asheville, and trails seems to be reopening, just check and plan ahead of time.

I already know airbnb wont give me enough space to write everything. Some people mentioned spotty wifi but he has a brand new wifi 6 router which had excellent speed and was connective through entire house. BnB is connected to Ted's main house however it is super private, super comfortable and just an awesome place to relax. There is a separate entrance away from the main house and unlike many Airbnb's who make you walk around back or to the side of the house to access the hot tub, Ted's space has the hot tub located right next to the entrance in a private corner with an incredible view of the land. Even when it was 12 degrees out we could walk right out and get in. As a former chef I can say the kitchen is a chefs dream. Tons of equipment, pots, pans, even electric salt and pepper grinders. TV is a 3dtv, is huge, great sound with included soundbar, a Playstation 3 and DVD/Blur ray player. Bathroom is spacious and hot water was plentiful. 12/10 stars, highly recommend!

We have a lovely time! Their space was perfect. We enjoyed all aspects of their home. We loved the dry sauna, the hot tub and the steam shower!

If you’re in Asheville, I highly recommend this house. It was beautiful, comfortable, peaceful and located in a great area. Beds were comfy, chefs kitchen and the living room was out of a magazine. The backyard is amazing, large, lots of areas to sit and chill. Loved listening to the stone water fountain. Also, a nice outdoor fire pit. And separated by a fence and out of sight, chickens and rabbits! Opening the fridge to find a loaf of blueberry bread and fresh yard eggs was nice and welcoming. One of my favorite Airbnb stays.

I missed something and thought it was 2 bedrooms because the same bedroom was pictured twice with different furniture arrangement. It has 1 very comfortable bed. Great location on quiet street in nice setting. A couple of lawn chairs would be a nice addition. Wonderful host. I plan to return.

Our family really enjoyed staying at Smithson’s cottage. The fenced-in yard was awesome for the kids and our dog, and the cottage itself was really nice. We had a great time!

Needed a quiet retreat getaway and this was the perfect spot. Cozy and eclectica/artsy space. Kambra also provided nice extras like a bottle of sparkling wine (New Year's stay), local company pretzels and chocolates.

This place is a little gem!! So clean and comfortable. When we walked in, we immediately felt right at home. The kitchen is nicely stocked with what you might need to make your own meals. The washer and dryer are there if you need and well stocked with detergent. Everything we needed in the bathroom as well. The beds were beyond comfortable. For me, what stood out the most was the nostalgic vibe throughout. It has a comforting "vintage" vibe with a modern twist. The teenagers LOVED the vinyl collection as it had a wide genre appeal. We look forward to coming back soon!

The house was perfect for our quick weeeknd trip and charming as pictured. April sent us clear instructions on exactly how to get to the entrance and where to park. Perfect location and plenty of options to enjoy the area. We will be sure to look for availability here for our next trip to Asheville!

We stayed almost a whole month and truly felt at home. Loved every single thing about this little cottage on an orchard. Pat is a superstar host in my book. Always responsive and helpful in any way. We loved the location it's the perfect mix of feeling isolated but really only 5 minutes to the grocery store. Everything you need for an extended stay is right here. We'll be back!

This is our second time staying at the cottage. The location is absolutely perfect, the house is amazingly clean, and Brevard is a wonderful city. You can walk to many shops and restaurants downtown with ease, take a stroll in the park across the street, or enjoy the wonderful little fenced back yard. If you are traveling with dogs, the back porch and the park make for a super easy stay. The cottage has a wonderfully updated kitchen and bathroom, and the rest of the house is extremely cozy. I'll sure we will be back a third, and likely a fourth time in the near future.

We loved our stay here! The house was excellent and the hosts were great. We were notified as soon as the house was ready and were able to check in early. The house had everything we needed and the location was great. Nothing weird about being in the RV park, you just have to drive through to get to the house. Super close to anything we needed and we could take an uber to get anywhere in town. Would 100% stay here again!

Very comfortable, quiet home. I felt like we were the first guests based on the cleanliness. We enjoyed sitting on the patio watching for wildlife and played a few games of foosball. Easy instructions, no fuss. Thank you.

This is the 3rd year my family and I have stayed at Doug and Loulyns home. It is always so wonderful and we feel right at home. We love spending our day by the pool and love the screened in porch. Look forward to next year!

Aramis is an incredible host. Usually we have reservations about booking an Airbnb, in the same place that the host lives in, but it was no different than booking a place without the host occupying the space. He gave us our privacy. We never saw him unless we wanted to, he always had the hot tub ready for us and the pool was always clean. He was always available if we needed him and it could not have been more perfect. I could go on and on about how great it was to stay there, how great of a host he is and how we got more than what we paid for. I recommend this airbnb to anyone who wants a beautiful, peaceful, private place to stay. We will return!!!!!!!!! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!!!

House was very nice and interactions with Mr Lake Lure is always friendly and prompt. FYI this house is incredibly secluded which is not a bad thing. But there is no visibility/beautiful mountain views if that is what you’re hoping for. But we did have a few bear sightings!! This is not a complaint. We were very happy with our stay!
