This was such an amazing find for us to spend a night at on the way back from a holiday trip. This place was immaculate and I truly wish we could've spent more time there! Aside from the ease of location, impeccable decor, and beautiful surroundings - they also have an extremely friendly and lovable cat and dog (Charlie and Oliver) that roams the property and added to the charm and friendliness we already experienced upon arrival. Hands down a 10/10, and we will be visiting again!

Eric was very friendly and easy to reach, we really enjoyed our stay. Was a great location for our small dogs and the pellet stove and electric heater worked great. The hot tub was so nice in February, we love Florence and would stay again

we had a wonderful stay. super flexible and accommodating even with our pups. quick to respond to our last minute questions and very detailed, concise communication. it's an amazing walk you can easily walk to get anything you might need, they even had discounts on the dispensary that's right next door with a wonderful selection of products. we are absolutely looking forward to come back, the hosts went above and beyond to ensure a great stay and meet our needs along the way.

First of all, We loved the place, it's cozy and has a lot of character. The hot tub was definitely a bonus and you have a beautiful veiw of the river. The place was pretty clean but we noticed it was in need of a deep clean, but that's to be expected in older homes. I personally loved the upstairs bath, with the skylight letting in all the natural light, so relaxing. Downside... The downstairs "shower" is awful for people with sensory issues, it's a claw tub with a shower head attached to the window, kinda awkward to deal with. but the shower curtain is on a oval rod and it allows the curtain to touch you, it's a disgusting feeling to have a wet shower curtain sticking to your body when your trying to get clean. I would recommend replacing that with an actual shower. But! we would definitely stay again and we definitely recommend it!

Beautiful getaway in the woods. The hot tub was amazing and the cabin was cozy and clean.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cattail Cottage. It's that quiet private gem in the woods that we were looking for to disconnect and enjoy one another's company without all the distractions. We got the best night's sleep. We saw deer, hummingbirds, snails, and slugs in the yard and walking on the path. We cooked all our meals at the cottage and ate outdoors. Enjoyed our coffee by the river in the mornings to watch the birds. It's close enough town if you need cell service or supplies and to access fun adventurous day hikes. The host was very friendly and we were impressed with all the Murtlewood decor throughout the cottage. The pictures and description were spot on. We will definitely be back.

There are 56 stairs from the house to the boathouse and every single one of them is worth it. Lynda’s boat house is amazing, it’s fun for sunny or rainy days, if you’re not sure of the weather while visiting 10 mile then this place is perfect because you can still be in the lake and have that experience from the indoors too. So fun for kids. The water on 10mile is not great from the pipes, not just at Lynda’s, we stay 10 mile a lot and this is just something about it, had a sulfur smell and taste. Lynda had good clean water there for us. Beds are not great, I heard from my friend that the bed in the guest house was good though. The two in the main house were difficult, I’m 36, I can do it but I also feel it. There is not shampoo or any of those types of amenities, there was a big bag of sample condition though, so be prepared to back your own cosmetics. She has a good amount of towels which is a necessity and was appreciated. The view was great,

Our staff had an amazing, relaxing, and peaceful time at John’s place! It was exactly what we were looking and hoping for - and exactly what we needed. A perfect stay! And needless to say, John is the best!

Sea mist was perfect for us. The cabin was clean and well appointed. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Looking at the ocean everyday was mesmerizing!. We were there for 14 days and the only drawback was the "atmospheric storm" the last 2 days. The power when out Monday at 6:10 pm and stayed off thru Tuesday at 4:30 am when we left. We had no heat, no lights, limited water. Having said that, we still had an incredible time there!

The vintage cabin was peaceful and quiet, and well equipped with anything we might have needed. It was a great size for our little family (two adults, one kiddo) and we had a wonderful visit. The bathroom is very nice and upgraded and the bear decor was very cute. Also, our car battery died when we were trying to head out, and the property owners were more than willing to help us get back on the road--they were so kind. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Stunning lake view from beautiful picture window. Watched a brilliant sunrise, ducks and an eagle from the window. The kids found a sweet little sledding hill that was the perfect size for them, made snowmen and had snowball fights. Beds were comfortable and cabin was warm. Kitchen was missing lids for the pots and basic staples. The general store was open. Would definitely visit again!

I lost service heading over and really appreciated Justin and Amanda giving tips about the “just in cases”. I had no issues with getting into the house and was well prepared for it because of them. It’s charming! My mother, who is a real critic, really enjoyed it. I appreciate the time ☺️☺️

We loved our stay! We will definitely be back and will book again with Julie. This location is absolutely beautiful, we grilled outside, sat by the river, my niece's daughter ran all over the yard playing when they came to visit us. We hiked the local trails and found some amazing watering holes to swim in. All the locals around town were so welcoming even telling us about Salmon Creek Falls which had the best water fall and swimming area we found by far. Julie's place exceeded our expectations and loved every minute of our time here at her Airbnb. We are definitely coming back, she might get tired of us. 😉 💚🌲

Looks like pictures! Spacious family room, wonderful windows all around. Very well stocked with linens and kitchen items. Lisa was fantastic and very responsive to all of my questions.

This is our second stay at Chad’s cottage. It was a stunningly beautiful weekend and the autumn leaves reflected in the river with herons and seals cruising by was incredible. Chad and his wife are always super friendly, the cottage spotless and the beds comfy. My husband would take each of the kids canoeing up and down the river to fish for salmon in a canoe provided. If you don’t have a river house with all the toys, this is the next best thing.

Kitchen has everything you need . Doris made sure we have a welvome beverage . There was also coffee for us to nake sure we have brewed coffee in the morning . We were always out by 7 am and back after dinner . We will definitely choose Doris’s cottage again when we return to Eugene . It was a 5 minute drive from our girls team hotel and 5-15 minutes drive to other venues . Doris always reached out to us if we needed anything or if we are comfortable. Great host 👍

We had a wonderful time. The location is excellent and the house is lovely and very comfortable!

This is our second stay in Joe’s cottage, each for an extended period of time. The location is superb; on top of a hill, above the U of O, and nestled among huge trees and rhododendrons and other flowering plants. It is truly a Pacific Northwest feeling even though inside the Eugene city limits. The property is next to Hendrick’s Park which is a gem of a resource featuring extensive gardens and a network of walking/hiking/running trails that are amazing. The cottage itself is vintage 1950s, clean and well cared for. There are large front facing windows that let in sun and light, especially in the morning, and a large, lovely deck that gets morning sun and is a good place to enjoy morning coffee or a book. The kitchen is small but neat; not where you’d want to cook Thanksgiving dinner, but more than adequate for our needs. The bed is comfortable and we sleep well here. The bathroom is small but clean. Joe and Dana are wonderful hosts, nearby and available when needed, but not intrusive.

This was our second visit to the cottage and we absolutely love it. It’s a beautiful, out of the way spot and very private. The cottage is not large but uses space so well. And it has one of the best equipped kitchens I’ve seen in an air bnb. It’s also absolutely spotless! We hope to be back the next time we are in town to see family!
