We booked this spot for a climbing trip in Huu Lung. The location is perfect, with Le Conche in walking distance and the other crags super close. Also met other climbers here! Uncle Cat made delicious food for us, and we were grateful for their laundry service. They offered bicycles free of charge, which I recommend as an alternative to scooters (which are also available). Rooms were beautiful too. Highly recommend, especially if traveling for rock climbing

My husband and I visited Huu Lung to climb, and we were there with our 2 year old and nanny. The host Hoang picked us up from the airport and was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We had breakfast and dinner made for us, as well as a packed lunch everyday. He also arranged for breakfast for our nanny at 4:30am, because she was observing Ramadan! The guesthouse has lovely decorated private rooms with balconies, clean bathrooms, a garden, and a large dining area. Perfect for a toddler to run around. There is also a stream to cool off in and a cafe next door that serves up Vietnamese style coffee, tea and cold drinks. Our toddler ended up befriending the kids in the village and was off playing across the neighbourhood every afternoon! Would recommend this place, especially if travelling with young children.

Mo Nong homestay is a great place. Built just a year ago, it's nice to have a private bathroom and a lot of food options at the homestay. We got picked up from the airport, and the owner even went out of his way to pick up a climbing guidebook from a local gym so we could have it when climbing there. It's definitely more expensive than the other homestays, but you get private rooms and bathrooms which is nice. The food portions are very big, but just not that rice and vegetables that come with the meals are separate charges. We rented motor bikes and even had our laundry done there. The main thing to note is that it can get quite cold in February, and there's no heat. However they gave us an extra blanket so we were fine after that.

We had an incredible stay here. P was excellent at communication. He did an excellent job showing us around and helping us get settled. Room was nice. Food was good. Excellent location to climbing crags and cafes and he had motorbikes to rent. If we make it back to Huu lung, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.
