Matt and Melina were wonderful hosts that were very flexible with our very late check in and check out; they couldn’t have been kinder or more professional. The apartment is so cute and perfect for me and my husband to have as a base for exploring all the Cape winelands offers. I especially loved the small but important touches like phone charging ports by the nightstands, nice local toiletry items like body wash and shampoo, and a very comfortable living room. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool but it looked like a wonderful place to relax. Melina and Matt really thought of everything and took extra steps to warm us about possible load shedding. The apartment is in a perfect quiet location easily walkable but also very convenient for parking our rental car. Excellent value; apartment was pretty perfect and would definitely stay again (even if just to be a block away from Motherdough for the most amazing pastries! 🫶).

We had a lovely stay at the apartment. It was 2 minutes form the wine route tram/bus stop and 5 to 10 minutes walk into the lovely bars and restaurants. We felt safe and the apartment was very comfortable. Would have no problem recommending it to other guests. Thanks

Magriet’s place is the perfect Airbnb – super clean, a very comfortable mattress, a well equipped kitchen, looks exactly like the pictures, and it’s private and safe. There is so much attention to detail; I doubt you’ll miss a single thing to have a very comfortable stay – Magriet has thought of it all! It was lovely to have braai area (and all the equipment you need, including wood). Magriet is a wonderful host and it’s clear she cares about her guests. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we won’t stay anywhere else!

We loved our stay! The bath tub is amazing, the bed super comfortable and the garden with the terrace is a little oasis. Would definitely come back.

Our family had a fantastic stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The host Leanne was incredibly responsive and made everything seamless from start to finish. The place itself is stunning — thoughtfully decorated with luxurious touches that made it feel like a boutique hotel. I really appreciated the attention to detail: from the Nespresso pods and biscuits to all the little extras that made sure we had everything we needed as soon as we arrived. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a warm, welcoming space. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful and peaceful unit in Onrus, Hermanus. Well appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Impressively upmarket and good value for money. Tanya was helpful and responsive, an overall fantastic host.

Had I known that there was no step in shower I would not have booked - but that is my preference . Others may be happy to have a shower over a bath The Kitchen had a good few 'appliances" but no table to sit at ??? There was lots of coffee and Rooibos tea but no milk ? We found the lighting in the bathroom inadequate I am being hyper critical in the hope and belief that Zahne will consider my, hopefully, constructive criticism Thanks Zahne I hope I will be welcome again despite my hopefully constructive comments

We loved our stay. Very peaceful and homely. Slighty musty smell. We had an issue which was quickly dealt with. We recommend this place. We really relaxed here

We were absolutely blown away by how well equipped this Airbnb was! It had everything we could have needed and more. Best place we have stayed in. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, braai fully ready to use, kitchen essentials - wow, everything! Bathrooms had all the amenities. Great sitting area off the main room and grassy area our grandson enjoyed running in. Top security, we unfortunately discovered, when our grandson pushed the panic button. Our host messaged and security double checked all was well - impressive (and embarrassing).

What an absolutely amazing place, so peaceful and really beautiful surroundings, close to activities in Swellendam but away from the crowds. The perfect getaway with family. Lena was an absolute star.

This place is truly breathtaking—a lovely home tucked in a MAGNIFICENT mountain setting with beautifully maintained gardens. You’ll constantly be reaching for your camera! The tame peacocks were such a treat, as was Donut, the resident cat. Lots to keep kids and adults entertained. The house is cozy and inviting, with a great fireplace that warms the entire space with ease. It’s very private and off the beaten track but close enough to pop into town for supplies. Definitely worth a visit to Ou Meul, or a 35 min drive to beautiful Montagu and McGregor. Andre and Carin were fantastic hosts—responsive and helpful. Highly recommend treating yourself to a stay at this incredible spot!

Diese wunderschöne Unterkunft war genauso, wie in der Beschreibung angegeben – sauber, gemütlich und perfekt ausgestattet. Jo-Maré und ihr Mann sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos, und der Check-in war unkompliziert. Die Lage ist eher ruhig und abgelegen – ideal für alle, die Erholung suchen. Und ein kleiner Hinweis für zukünftige Gäste: In der warmen Jahreszeit gibt es hier viele Mücken, also am besten Insektenschutz mitbringen Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Really enjoyed our two night stay at the beautifully decorated and equipped Upper Room. Will definitely recommend.

We had a great stay and Lisa is a wonderful host. You have to keep in mind that it is a little far to walk to the lagoon and would defenitely not recommend doing it after hours.

Great place to stay and location, really nice secure and safe apartment. Friendly checkin from Ian with great recommendations! Only setbacks is there seems to be a an extractor fan on constantly in the bathrooms with no way of turning them off which affected my friends sleep as he is a light sleep. Hot water was a bit temperamental as well with it not being red hot more of Luke warm temperature. Other than that lovely place to stay and will be back if we come here again! Thanks!
