Great break, lovely location on the lakeside, really peaceful and beautiful, hot tub was great and the caravan was clean and comfortable, Sam was a great host, Thank you for the welcome pack that was really thoughtful, Thank you again we had a lovely break.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, truly didn't want to leave, hostess was excellent and the place was absolutely spotless, the welcome basket was an amazing addition, the location was beautiful and couldn't fault a single thing, hot tub was incredible, hopefully will be back to stay again next year!

Jean is a great host- very welcoming, clear instructions and interesting local recommendations. Waterside Retreat is in a smashing location, right on the small lake, close to the country club. The lodge is spacious, clean and well stocked with everything you might need for your holidays and more. We also used the gym- it was well equipped, had a delicious Sunday roast at the country club and walked the dog along the nature trail and to Tydd St Giles- surroundings are very peaceful and beautiful. Uber-eats delivered to our lodge, no problem. Also, it was an easy 1 hour drive to Cambridge to soak up some culture. Overall a great Easter break, in a fabulous lodge.

Great place to stay. Place was very clean. Great location, very peaceful Hot tub was ready to use which my kids absolutely loved. Host was very responsive, friendly, easy to talk to. Check in was very easy. Had no problems at all. Definitely recommend

A really lovely lodge in a beautiful, peaceful setting. It was so well equipped; had everything you could possibly need and more - the welcome basket and additional extras were very thoughtful and made such a difference. The owner was incredibly helpful with excellent communication and everything was exactly as described. We hope to return next time we visit family in the area and would highly recommend.

I came here for my 23rd birthday with my friends as we wanted a chill Christmas atmosphere and we got exactly that! The owners were very kind a friendly and went over and above for us! The only negative is that there is nothing around and if you want to walk to a pub, restaurants or shops it’s either a 1hour+ or a deep dive walk in a forest or field… this was difficult as we had 6 people and one car. But I everything was amazing we will be coming back again!

Claire is a great host and quick at communicating. We booked Claire's house for our site workers who were very happy with it. It is well looked after and very clean and tidy, with everything you need for a stay away from home. We will definitely book again as soon as we are in the area. Highly recommend. Thank you :)

Lovely homely cottage a short drive from Lincoln. Peter the host was very responsive and communicated well with us throughout. We were allowed access 2 hours earlier than the allotted time which was great. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay including a welcome pack of breakfast items such as eggs, bacon, sausages, milk, bread butter and Peter’s own home made honey. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, particularly the wood burning stove and the outdoor area where we could watch the rabbits and pheasants every day. I would recommend this delightful cottage to anyone coming to beautiful Lincoln. There is so much to see and do!!

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was beautifully decorated and clean. The apartment was in a quiet, calm location. We celebrated my dad’s 70th birthday and Easter and there was 6 of us in total, 4 adults and 2 children. The apartment was set so we could spend time together but also plenty of room to shut a door and have our own private space, almost like 2 apartments in 1. The outside space although small was enough for the children to play and have a coffee at the outdoor seating. The WiFi was strong in the dining room but struggled in the other rooms. Lovely village pub, which does a great carvery too! Deb was lovely and we hope to stay again!

We needed something close to Lincoln centre for visiting family last minute. The location is great, 10 minutes walk to the centre. It’s not in the nicest part of Lincoln which I didn’t know at the time of booking with my limited knowledge of the area but once inside, the house is lovely, decor is gorgeous and modern. It was very cosy and absolutely worth the price we paid. My two children did experience issues with the beds which collapsed when they were asleep and we needed to fix. The neighbours also played music quite loud on Sunday night which wasn’t the best when trying to get two little boys to sleep but that’s not the hosts fault. We would definitely come back to stay as it’s very nice inside and exactly what we needed. Thank you Kelly.

Great visit will definitely be staying again

Elaine could not do enough to make my Mum and Dads stay more comfortable. Communication was great and nothing was too much trouble. The place is cosy yet has a unique twist. My Dad is a big fan of the reclining seats! The location is perfect if you are looking for a quiet get away with a top notch garden. Thanks Elaine!

The house and gardens are amazing. Everything was spotlessly clean, the house and gardens are in first class condition, and the rooms are all very comfortable. We all made use of the cinema room which is a real treat. There is a small shop just across the road, and there are several supermarkets close by. We didn’t use the nearest pub,The Rising Sun, but it is very close by and easily walkable. We did try to get in for lunch on Easter Sunday, but it was fully booked so I’m presuming it is good.

The house was very warm and cosy, very clean and had everything we needed. A lovely welcome pack which included doggy treats, and some ‘gluten free’ items which was very appreciated. I would definitely recommend the house and would look to book again when visiting family in the area.

Beautiful place. Nice short break

We recently stayed for 4 weeks as our house was being renovated. The house is fantastic great garden and great sunny room in the morning / early afternoon at the back of the house. Owners are great super responsive, super clean when we arrived. Would strongly recommend. Great dog walking in sturton. Thanks Elly and Ernie just what we needed

We (family of 5) had a lovely weekend stay. Great location, short walk (3 mins) to High Street. Host is very friendly & helpful, swift reply. The place is very clean. A+ host, definitely recommend!

This house is like a piece of art. It’s absolutely beautiful. Sue was responsive and friendly. The house had everything you needed, including lots of herbs and spices! I found the house very peaceful and I felt at home. The garden was beautiful and well kept too. Will be back!

Absolut stunning place. Totally recommended to spend a few days relaxing in the hot tub and with good food and wine. There is not much to do nearby, which was what we wanted. Tesco and Aldi are less than 10 minutes drive away. Full equipped kitchen. Communication with the hosts was smooth and easy.

Nicely maintained terrace house that was an 8 minute walk from the center of town. The house was immaculately clean and surprisingly spacious with a nice garden at the back and a parking space at the front. Heating and hot water was plentiful and the kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable with nice linens and towels. We would certainly use this property again if we needed a couple of nights in Sleaford
