Highly recommend! The hosts were very accommodating, helpful, and responded to all my questions! We even had a short power outage (due to the electrical company) and the owner came over to help flip the breaker and do anything he could. Not only were the people nice, but the house was better than the pictures! We made several meals in the full kitchen and they had everything I needed! Very happy with our stay!

We loved this home! There are so many thoughtful details. The kitchen has everything we needed, to cook dinner and dessert. We appreciate the tea and tea kettle, and all the mugs, for a cozy winter weekend. The living room and dining room area is so comfortable. We loved the puzzles and games and records. Thank you again for a lovely place to stay!

This was a great spot for my family and mom. She doesn't navigate stairs easily so the main floor bed and bath were a selling point. Everyone felt comfortable and it is definitely cozy! The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked and we loved the Bunn coffee maker! The location is perfect for walking around Decorah and getting to Luther for our events. The only downside for me was the shower is fairly small--just commenting that here for anyone who might require a little more space. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and I would recommend it to anyone.

This house exceeded our expectations in every way. This was a beautiful property. They thought of everything a person could forget. We arrived sooner than expected and we were willing to wait outside but Kathy was more than happy let us in early. The space was so relaxing and so much fun.

What a lovely, cozy place to spend a weekend! It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and there were thoughtful touches all throughout the house. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked for cooking meals. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to others! Easily walkable to downtown, and a relaxing space to stay in. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a group of friends for an event in Viroqua. Very easy walk to the Theater. Timing didn't work, but the Driftless and other restaurants are very convenient. Lucy calls out that the home is older. Well kept, and radiant heat. We thoroughly enjoyed. The common area had a piano, and we had a piano playing friend, really making it a wonderful time.

Thomas was a great host and the apartment was so nice. Fun artwork on the walls with lots of helpful resources. It’s in an old church and the architecture shows it. Super high ceilings and lots of space in the sleeping room. Thomas was extremely responsive.

Had a great stay. She had instructions in the home so follow up questions/communication was seldom needed.

Norma Jean & Daryl are welcoming, kind hosts with an absolutely beautiful property! They were attentive to our safety as there was winter weather and helpful at every turn. My friend & I were celebrating a milestone birthday and had a perfect stay at their place.

Mandi’s place was ideal for a peaceful, quiet get away. We loved sitting on their deck watching the eagles, pelicans and barges go by. There were various places to hike nearby as much or as little as we wanted. We chose Effigy Mound National Monument one day and Pikes Peak State Park the other and both were well worth the time spent. We went to the pub - restaurant literally across the street for a lunch and sat on their deck enjoying the river scenes. The kitchen was equipped with anything we needed for meals at t home. The bed was comfy and we slept great! We reserved this gem again before leaving!

We have stayed here several times and have always had an excellent experience. The Flat is truly as described and very well stocked for doing your own cooking if that's your thing. We always look forward to coming back!

This is a gem of a stay for an evening or weekend in Clayton. We were looking for a quaint, clean place to stay while enjoying the peace of the area and enjoying local establishments. Expectations were exceeded. Cute place! Clean! The game collection and decor were highlights. Check the drawers by the table for an extensive collection of games! Yahtzee fun was had but there were many other awesome games in there! I travel back and forth to the Prairie du Chien area often from the UP and this little gem is a place I fully intend to return to in the near future. Thank you, Anita, for the stay and embracing your passion for the area in a way you can share it with others.

Location was in perfect proximity to TG and downtown Decorah. We were also afforded the ability to allow another couple to crash on the living room floor with their own air mattress. It worked out great! Google maps has not updated so the GPS instructions will not lead you to the destination but it’s easy to find!

Kaleen’s place is a perfect spot in Decorah. Short walk to downtown and a lovely home to return to. Bonus fire pit and back patio! We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

Lovingly-designed loft-style apartment with so much in east walking distance. Loved the fact that we had a half bath in the hall and easy parking. Nancy was a total pro at communication and made our check-in seamless. Thank you!!!

We were in town for my son graduation at Luther. Rather than pay the over price hotels in the area, we choose Tami place & it was well worth what we spent. Host family was incredibly welcoming. Made our family feel like we were home. We would for sure choose this home again! We thank them for making this a memorable time.

The condo was gorgeous! modern but historic, great reno! Bed was comfy. We were messaged that it was ready and we could check in early. Fab location. Will say again when in Viroqua

This was my third time visiting The Stone House. I’ve been here in the fall and spring which were both absolutely beautiful. This time, we stayed here in February for a Valentine’s weekend mini getaway. It was romantic, cozy and so beautiful to be here in the winter. I’ve officially decided any season is perfect to take the drive to this adorable town, explore this very unique, beautiful area and stay in this perfect Airbnb. We chatted with the hosts and learned so much about the love and incredible hard work they put into restoring this amazing building. We definitely look forward to coming back. 10/10 recommend.
