Our stay at Laura and Antti was most comfortable and memorable. They were both responsive and helpful. We had an early morning check in having booked the place from previous night onwards. Laura offered to pick us from the station and helped us check in. The place was exactly as described in the listing and as shown in the pictures. All things of requirement were present. The place overlooks the river and is barely a 2 min walk. The tourist informatiom center is a 5 min walk away. Most tours start from here. Supermarket, coffee shops, market place and bus stops are all at a 5-7 mins walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We enquired about getting a sledge for our 5 year old and they got that for us the very next day. We found their place through a recommnedation from a friend who stated 7-8 years ago and would definitely recommend to friends who will travel to Rovaniemi !

Comfortable, quiet, complete apartment, in a beautiful part of Finland. Communicative, flexibel and friendly hosts. Highly recommended.

We would highly recommend staying at this apartment. The building is exceptionally clean and quiet, while the area feels safe. Being right on the sea, the view from the sixth-floor apartment was lovely, even in winter. Plenty of steaming hot water and comfortable beds, there was nothing to dislike, and I am very fussy about where I stay.

Majoittaja oli sovitusti vastassa ja luovutti avaimen. Hän myös kommunikoi hyvin. Huoneisto sijaitsi uudessa kerrostalossa, ja huoneisto oli siisti, puhdas ja sisälsi nykyaikaiset, tarvittavat kodinkoneet. Huoneisto oli kivasti kalustettu. Huoneisto sijaitsi Kuusamon vanhassa keskustassa, ja lähellä paikkaa, joka muodosti matkan tarkoituksen. Myös ruokakaupat olivat lähellä, vaikkakin iso osa palveluista on siirtynyt vuosien varrella "uuteen keskustaan", lähellä Torankia. Hinta oli melko korkea, mihin todennäköisesti vaikutti se, että oli talvilomien aika ja talviurheilusesonki parhaimmillaan.

Magnifique séjour en Laponie et l'appartement est chaleureux, propre et très fonctionnel. Niina et Heini sont adorables et très réactives en cas de problèmes ou questions. Également très bien situé vous êtes à 10 min à pied des commerces et du centre ville. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour à Rovaniemi et repartons des étoiles plein les yeux. Merci à Niina et Heini

Clean accommodation in the Citycenter of Rovaniemi. 5 minutes from the bus station and the Shopping Mall. Juha was a very friendly host. He always answered quick and had a lot of recommendations for us.

Such a peaceful and picturesque location, with a view of the lake and squirrels playing outside each morning. The Snowy backdrop made for the most spectacular and exciting days. It is a nice little apartment with all the amenities and items you need, and shops/restaurants are all around 5 minutes drive. The sauna was particularly enjoyable, especially with a nice refreshing dive into the snow straight after. Will stay here again if ever back in Rovaniemi.

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gelegen und super ausgestattet. Sie sieht genauso aus wie auf den Fotos. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der schöne Ausblick und die Ruhe. Die wichtigsten Punkte in Kemi sind fußläufig erreichbar. Wir waren das erste Mal in Lappland (im Winterfrühling) und wollen gern noch einmal im Sommer wiederkommen, das ist bestimmt auch sehr schön. Dann gerne wieder in Markus Wohnung.

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

Chalé com 3 quartos, muito confortável, zona e exterior muito bonita e cuidada. Com sauna, jacuzzi exterior, máquina lavar roupa e louça, cozinha bem equipada. Recomendo tanto no inverno como no verão. Fica a 25 min do centro de Rovaniemi. O hotel Ártic Snow hotel com o bar de gelo fica a 1,5 km de distância. Anfitrião sempre contactavel.

Great villa in a scenic location. Super responsive host. Very nice furniture and extremely equipped, in particular the kitchen. Sauna experience with lake view a plus. And 2 beautiful auroras out of 3 days completed our beautiful experience.

très belle maison, chaleureuse. Bel environnement et paisible. On peut prendre un sauna et ensuite descendre les escaliers et nager dans le fleuve. Nous avons vu des aurores boréales le premier et dernier jour de nos vacances depuis le chalet. Le village du Père Noël n'est qu'à 30 mn du châlet ainsi que la ville de Rovaniemi. Hôte très réactive.

We ( 2 families) had an amazing stay at Johanna’s ! The house is large enough well furnished and the kitchen fully equipped. Everything as described in the listing. The location is super nice and we were able to see the northern lights from the house itself !! Johanna was quick to respond to our concerns and she takes care of providing extra heating during the very cold days! If you have a car with you.. then it’s impossible to go wrong with this stay. Thanks Johanna for hosting us .. we really enjoyed the stay !

The accommodation was perfect for our stay in Rovaniemi. The flat is very central and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. The flat is furnished to a very high standard and you immediately feel at home. I can really recommend it! Leena is a great host and was always easy to contact.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The apartment was spotless, cosy, and felt just like home. The location was unbeatable—just a short walk to the city centre and the Arktikum museum, making it easy to explore. Everything was well-equipped, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Abel was an amazing host, very responsive and flexible, making check-in and our entire stay smooth and enjoyable. We truly appreciated his hospitality. There was nothing to fault, and we loved every moment spent here. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The attention to detail made our experience even better. We felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a clean, cosy, and well-located place, this is it! Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Johanna. Die Wohnung war sehr schön mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Gegend ist ruhig, privat und eignet sich super für das Beobachten von Polarlichtern. Bei Johanna haben wir die stärksten Polarlichter unseres Lebens gesehen. Johanna selbst war eine sehr sympathische Gastgeberin.

Es war super! Die Wohnung ist super zentral, man kann vieles zu Fuß erledigen. Sie ist modern und hat alles, was man braucht.

All my best recommendations for this lovely apartment. Location is close to the city center and even har a great view over the water from the sweet christmas decorated balcony. The apartment has everything you need, and its even better irl. If Im comming back to Rovaniemi, I will definately go for this place again :-)
