This was one of the best stays my family and I have had! The barn itself is beautiful, but what my boys enjoyed the most was the property. We got lucky with a beautiful 50° December day. We walked the trails, threw rocks in the pond and went on scavenger hunts. Highly recommend staying here!

Everything was perfect! The location was close to everything we needed. The house was clean and organized. It was so chilly outside, we made some soup in the crockpot. We appreciated the containers to take our extras home! Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay. The house is beautiful and immaculately kept. The kitchen was well stocked and there were tons of towels in each room. The beds were cozy and the heat adjusted quickly. The two highlights were (1) the beautiful deck overlooking the river, where we saw a bald eagle and sandhill cranes migrating and (2) the game room, where we enjoyed family games of pool and poker. The house was 15 minutes from Starved Rock and 2 minutes from a grocery store, so the location was super convenient as well.

Great house to stay at. Beautiful location. All the amenities you could need. Very clean. Great communication with host. You can watch skydivers from the back yard 🪂

This place was exactly what 4 guys were looking for - 4 bedrooms (one in the basement) and 2 plus bathrooms. It had 2 1/2 baths. I read some complaints about road noise, but having grown up near an interstate, I didn't hear it and I took the bedroom by the front of the house. The house is along route 6, but in the town of LaSalle, so traffic is slowed down. Easy to check in and very clean and convenient.

We enjoyed our stay, the house was clean and well cared for, our hosts even sent their cleaner over for a freshen up before we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed for cooking meals, including a cookbook we enjoyed. One of the best things about this house is how close it is to Starved Rock, Buffalo Rock and Mathison parks!

We enjoyed our stay with our kids and family at this spacious home. Everything was as described and the pool/hot tub was a hit. we walked to town for food/groceries/dessert so it was a great deal. the local park was also a nice plus for the little ones. overall, fantastic stay. Would only mention, there are lots of stairs in case you have very little kids or elder people, we did fine but that is something to consider. great place, great host.

My friends and I stayed the weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday. This was the perfect home for us. First, there was ample parking for our three large vehicles. Next, there was an amazing game room separate from the house which means that guests can have a blast without waking those who may be sleeping in the house. Next there was a great hot tub, outdoor lounge space and outdoor dining area. Once inside we were so impressed with the quality and quantity of bath linens, dishes, and other kitchen amenities. The place was sparkling clean. What impressed us all the most were all the little details. The bathrooms had a supply of things you may have forgotten, like hair ties, floss sticks, and cotton pads. There was plenty of extra toilet paper, shower products, coffee. There was a water dispenser with hot and cold water. It was like they thought of everything. The furniture and beds are comfy, the hosts are uber responsive. You can they they want everyone to feel at home, and we did.

We enjoyed our stay! It was extremely clean, well kept, cute decor, and steps from the main strip. We had a mini fridge, sink, and coffee maker in our room which was a nice touch. The bed was soooo comfortable I didn’t want to leave it! Would definitely book here again.

No complaints! Suggestion TV upstairs, more dishes (plates) would be nice and to have silver ware would have been good also. Lastly since I was staying with my daughter and her boy friend having a way to close door to bath area would be great. Will book again!

Amazing place!!! Feel right at home and looked picture perfect, identical to the photos. I’m not huge on staying at the same place multiple times but I would most definitely come back. Having a winery and multiple pubs with food just down the block felt so convenient as well, and it was such a great place to unwind at.

A wonderful cottage just a few minutes away from Starved Rock State Park. The cottage is very modern, private, and comfortable. Also, Amy is very friendly and extremely responsive to messages. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and private stay with plenty of room.

Loved my stay! The location is perfect. Being within a block of quaint downtown Utica is ideal! My unit was spacious, comfortable and stocked with everything I needed. I can't wait to come back!

Dragonfly Landing was a great place to stay. It was easy to find and directions were spot on. The decor inside was very well done and made it feel very homey. They have everything you can think of available in the kitchen/bath/bedrooms although we didn’t use too much of it. What we did need they had. We wanted a place we could bring out 4 legged kids and the settled in easily. The only negative was being so close the railroad tracks but we knew it when we booked and it was a very minor piece of our stay. We would highly recommend.

Super cute space in downtown North Utica! Fire pits & gathering space in backyard was a bonus! One minute walk to Bruce & Ollies’s for a delicious freshly made breakfast, lunch, coffee or ice cream! Skoogs is also a one minute walk & has delicious jumbo wings! You can’t get any better than this location! So many food choices & cute shops right around the corner! We would highly recommend staying here! We will be back!

Amy's place was the perfect spot to stay after visiting Starved Rock. It's just a short drive from the park and the fireplace, whirlpool tub, comfy king bed and cozy cabin vibes provided the relaxation we were looking after a day spent hiking in the woods. We also loved that there's a cafe, a couple bars/restaurants, and wine tasting room just steps away, though the property itself feels very private. We would definitely stay at Amy's again. A great place and a great host.

The place was spacious and relaxing. Close to Starved Rock and right next to a huge resort. We would absolutely stay here again.

This spacious home is in a beautiful and quiet location, and it's a quick drive to Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Park. There are also lots of fun activities in the home! Our only critique is the overpowering air freshener smell that was in every room, which is challenging for people with smell sensitivities. But overall, a gem!

Very peaceful and relaxing environment. For the number of people renting cabins in close proximity, it was very quiet. The cabin matched the description and was clean. We will definately go back.
