Great little house! Thank you to Matt and Stephanie for making us feel at home while we travel for work. The neighborhood is quiet and Over all great communication from the host. Definitely worth the pricing and location!

Everything was perfect! The location was close to everything we needed. The house was clean and organized. It was so chilly outside, we made some soup in the crockpot. We appreciated the containers to take our extras home! Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay. The house is beautiful and immaculately kept. The kitchen was well stocked and there were tons of towels in each room. The beds were cozy and the heat adjusted quickly. The two highlights were (1) the beautiful deck overlooking the river, where we saw a bald eagle and sandhill cranes migrating and (2) the game room, where we enjoyed family games of pool and poker. The house was 15 minutes from Starved Rock and 2 minutes from a grocery store, so the location was super convenient as well.

This place was exactly what 4 guys were looking for - 4 bedrooms (one in the basement) and 2 plus bathrooms. It had 2 1/2 baths. I read some complaints about road noise, but having grown up near an interstate, I didn't hear it and I took the bedroom by the front of the house. The house is along route 6, but in the town of LaSalle, so traffic is slowed down. Easy to check in and very clean and convenient.

This place works great for our curling teams. We love staying at this place.

We enjoyed our stay with our kids and family at this spacious home. Everything was as described and the pool/hot tub was a hit. we walked to town for food/groceries/dessert so it was a great deal. the local park was also a nice plus for the little ones. overall, fantastic stay. Would only mention, there are lots of stairs in case you have very little kids or elder people, we did fine but that is something to consider. great place, great host.

My friends and I stayed the weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday. This was the perfect home for us. First, there was ample parking for our three large vehicles. Next, there was an amazing game room separate from the house which means that guests can have a blast without waking those who may be sleeping in the house. Next there was a great hot tub, outdoor lounge space and outdoor dining area. Once inside we were so impressed with the quality and quantity of bath linens, dishes, and other kitchen amenities. The place was sparkling clean. What impressed us all the most were all the little details. The bathrooms had a supply of things you may have forgotten, like hair ties, floss sticks, and cotton pads. There was plenty of extra toilet paper, shower products, coffee. There was a water dispenser with hot and cold water. It was like they thought of everything. The furniture and beds are comfy, the hosts are uber responsive. You can they they want everyone to feel at home, and we did.

A wonderful cottage just a few minutes away from Starved Rock State Park. The cottage is very modern, private, and comfortable. Also, Amy is very friendly and extremely responsive to messages. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and private stay with plenty of room.

This place is just right, and I can’t wait to go back! Fully stocked, everything you need is provided. There were even robes and beach towels for the pool/hot tub. If you forget something, it’s probably just waiting for you. Loved practicing yoga in front of the electric fireplace. Lots of extra pillows and blankets available, and plenty of sunshine too. I did bump my head on the angled ceilings a couple times, so might not be the best accommodations for a tall person.

Dragonfly Landing was a great place to stay. It was easy to find and directions were spot on. The decor inside was very well done and made it feel very homey. They have everything you can think of available in the kitchen/bath/bedrooms although we didn’t use too much of it. What we did need they had. We wanted a place we could bring out 4 legged kids and the settled in easily. The only negative was being so close the railroad tracks but we knew it when we booked and it was a very minor piece of our stay. We would highly recommend.

My dog and I had a short but lovely stay at Lisa's place. It was easy to find and the instructions on how to get in were accurate and helpful. I didn't anticipate how much my dog would bark if there was any noise upstairs but it was very quiet overall and he barks more at home when he sees people walk by throughout the day. The backyard was very large and there were cute cows next door. Everything was clean and Lisa was super responsive to any questions and made sure to let me know when her dogs were in the yard. Everything was very convenient and while it good to anticipate a bit of a drive to Starved Rock and Matthiessen (20-ish minutes), there were a surprising number of restaurants and shops in any direction so you could also pick up food or souvenirs on the way. The folder of menus Lisa provided was very helpful to narrow down the options. The kitchen had plenty of supplies if you want to cook. The space isn't huge but has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Thanks!
