I was beyond happy and excited about staying here and even more happy how it turned out it was everything we hoped and expected . Joel was amazing at communicating. He even has a Christmas tree and lights up that had us feel even more like at home and festive for the occasion .

The place was exactly what we were looking for, to get away and do some spring hiking. Vanessa was great with communication.

We enjoyed our stay, the house was clean and well cared for, our hosts even sent their cleaner over for a freshen up before we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed for cooking meals, including a cookbook we enjoyed. One of the best things about this house is how close it is to Starved Rock, Buffalo Rock and Mathison parks!

Nice place in a nice neighborhood. Wifi was amazing around 500Mb/s, so perfect for the days when I had to do some work at the house. Kitchen was a little light in what was stocked, there was only a few plates and bowls but at least there was a dishwasher with enough detergent that it wasn’t really an issue. Other than that, great place.

The place was great for our families stay. Cozy and great size. Kids were able to run outside and we used the fire pit for s’mores. Able to enjoy dinners at the house and explore Starved Rock area nearby.

Place was great, it met all of our needs. Host was quick to respond to anything. I would come back again.

This property is very clean and well maintained. We were allowed an early check-in which was super helpful since we’d driven all day and were eager to get settled in for the weekend. It was a great space for our visit with our daughter and 3.5 year old granddaughter and introduce them to our 19 month old pup. They had so much fun running around in the fenced back yard! A special bonus was the campfire we were able to make in the fire pit. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient to Starved Rock State Park ( we did some awesome hiking there). Definitely would book again if we are back in the area.

Beautiful views, great layout, and extremely dog friendly with nice touches make this place stand out! Very close to all the state parks in the area, but there’s plenty to do on site as well. Check in was seamless, we had clear instructions throughout, and the place was perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a quiet, pet friendly neighborhood with lovely views of the river. Everything we needed was provided and we liked the layout of the house. Regarding sleeping accommodations, there are beds for 6 people (2 queens with twin bunks above each) and additional sleeping options are provided via a pull-out sofa and 2 futons.

We come from Chicago a couple times a year to hike at Starved Rock, Matthiesen, etc, so we thought we would try staying for a full weekend. This place was the perfect fit. It was pet friendly, so our dog could come along, and it had great amenities at the resort. The staff was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Great little house! Thank you to Matt and Stephanie for making us feel at home while we travel for work. The neighborhood is quiet and Over all great communication from the host. Definitely worth the pricing and location!

Cozy home in a walkable area! I found it comfortable and an easy drive to local parks, like Starved Rock. My RAV4 pulled into the steep drive without issue and local trains weren't disturbing. Would return!

This is a great place to stay for a trip to Starved Rock. The house is very nice with lots of activities for families and adults.

Very clean and close to plenty of restaurants down town. I will gladly stay there again when I am in town for work. This was way better than staying at a hotel and the owners were very accommodating.

This is my second stay at this address - I had just as good of an experience as the first time. It's a great spot with great amenities for a long stay. Would recommend and would love to stay here again next year

It is a nice secluded house out in the beautiful corner fields. Very nice place to get away.

Bravo to the host!👏 This place was everything we expected & more! There was so much to do at the house, it was constant fun and play!🎲♟️🎳🧩 The house was clean and so spacious! The bedrooms were cozy and had everything we needed! The kitchen and dining/sunroom were fully stocked with all the utensils, cookware, literally anything we needed, it was wonderful! Definitely made me feel like home!🤗 The game rooms were so much fun! My personal favorites were the old school arcade machines and the air hockey! Would absolutely give this place 5 stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had the time of our lives making memories!🥰 Thanks again!❤️

We only ended up staying one night as the weather was not cooperating with our plans. The place was cote and clean and close to the parks we were hoping to visit. Elaine gave lots of local recommendations. Hopefully we will be back sometime.
