We didn’t want to leave! Mark’s property and cabin are instantly warm and welcoming. We only stayed a weekend, but we felt so relaxed and refreshed afterwards. Our kids are 10 and 8 years old and they loved the yard games. The sunset view was spectacular from the back patio, firepit area and hot tub. We’d definitely return, in fact we immediately booked our next (and longer!) stay.

My husband and I stayed for one night, but we agreed that we would absolutely be back and would stay up to a week. The cabin was beautiful and in a perfect location for anyone who would like to see the Talimena state Park. The busy road was quite worrisome for noise, but once we got inside we really couldn't hear anything. It was the best getaway for my husband and I after having our second child. Anyone who enjoys peace and quiet and nature will absolutely love it here! Junie was very quick when I messaged her about anything. It said her average response time was three hours, but I was hearing back before that average time. The hot tub was absolutely perfect for when it got chilly at night time. we can't wait to book our next stay here ❤️

Bison Ridge Resort is a great cabin & property if you are looking for a peaceful and private getaway. The San Bois mountains give a beautiful view front porch view, especially in nice weather. There is a fire pit outdoors to enjoy for the evenings, just be sure to have paper products or lighter fluid on hand. We were able to enjoy it as well as the fireplace in the cabin, which made for an extra cozy effect. Food establishments will require some traveling, but we enjoyed the menu that we chose from Dawn's in Red Oak and able to find a grocery store as well. Depending on the the days of the week some places close early, something to keep in mind for all new guests. Hot tub on the property is also a nice way to relax, although it does sit outside of the porch area. We appreciated our hosts' quick responses to inquiries, great communication. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend it others as well.

The cabin looks exactly like the pictures, in fact, I don’t think the pictures do it justice. The cabin is gorgeous and secluded, yet it is minutes from the state park. We loved our stay!

We had an amazing experience. The place was far better than what we expected. Extremely impressed with everything about the stay that we had. We plan to come back and visit again soon.

The cabin was actually better than advertised! Very clean. Had all the basics (sheets, towels, kitchen basics. It was simple, charming and appropriately priced. A breaker was switched off at the stove and the host came by immediately to remedy it. It was cold and rainy all weekend and we went out for a hike and came back to a clean warm cozy place. Would absolutely stay again. Thank you!

The cabin was very clean and very comfortable. As the description states, there is no internet or satellite tv. At first we thought this might be an issue, but turned out to be a huge blessing. Being unplugged is exactly what we needed, turning off the noise and just resting. Also, pay attention to the directions they send you. The google map directions will take you to wrong house.

We spent our anniversary this year here. It is a very beautiful and peaceful place! The hosts were the best! They are very helpful and easily accessible! We felt very welcome and right at home! Thank you for having us Erich and Chris!

The good news: The place itself is very clean and quiet. Everything was easy to use and comfortable. The heating and AC were fantastic. There was even a nice movie selection on DVD, which we enjoyed. Viktoriya was very friendly and even had flower petals arranged on the bed in the shape of a heart. The general terrain is almost mountainous and hyper-rural, yet with fairly easy access to Wilburton, Robbers Cave, and Sardis Lake. The place was a good deal and much preferable to a noisy hotel in town. The bad news: The little road you have to go down to get to the cabin is off the beaten path about a mile. There are some sketchy-looking habitations on the way, although not any directly near or in visual range of the actual cabin. The road would be very difficult to navigate in a small car or sedan. We had a Gelandewagen and I still felt a need to take it slow. To be fair it was rainy and cold on the days we stayed so it might be better when the mud dries.

Melissa really went above and beyond this time! This is my second stay on her property, which is lovely. This trip, however we were set for an unusually brutal cold spell. Melissa moved me to a cabin that was known to be a little bit warmer and insured that I didn’t wake up to frozen pipes in the morning. I definitely recommend any of her properties.
