Serene spot for staying while exploring nearby Talimena State Park. Wifi is spotty, so bring your own games -- and coffee for the coffee pot. Nice country living with a few eating places in town. Very peaceful!

We had a fantastic stay at Wagner and Lynch's place! The apartment was sparkling clean and had all the essentials we needed. Its location was perfect for exploring Main Street, and Wagner and Lynch were very responsive to our needs. We especially loved the convenience and would recommend this listing to anyone visiting Wilburton. I wish I had discovered this place earlier, especially since I drive three hours one way to watch my son's basketball games at Eastern Oklahoma State College. We will definitely be looking to stay at this location again in the future!

Enjoyed our short stay in this nicely remodeled trailed house sitting by itself on quiet corner with plenty of parking room for any bigger vehicles or multiple caravanning. Was very clean and nicely furnished with lots of little amenities left for use, including fresh eggs. Price seemed very fair for the space - 2 bedrooms on one end with adjoining door & main bathroom w/shower (no bathtubs) and 1 master bedroom on other end w/bathroom & shower. Showers had good pressure with hot water. If we return to our event in the area again we would stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Elk House. The house was perfect for our family gathering with our adult children. The large open downstairs gave plenty of room for people to play games, cook, visit, and watch TV without feeling crowded. The view from the sunroom/den was a favorite hangout. The kitchen had everything we possibly needed to prepare the abundant food we brought with us (thankful that Melissa warned us to bring our own, we only used the market for milk and cheese). Such a lovely home in a beautiful location - the fall foliage lured us outside for many walks. And the location was close enough to take day trips - we enjoyed our outing to Robbers Cave and appreciated the drawer of recommendations and travel guides. Our only regret- we couldn’t figure out the telescope for a star party. So many more stars visible than these city folk see.

My family stayed one night in the camper and it was better than expected. The camper had everything we needed. A large living area, a kitchenette complete with everything needed to fix meals, a full bathroom, a spacious master bed, and a spare bedroom with multiple beds for the kids. It was a very peaceful and serene environment, and the horses and goats were an added attraction. Brenda and Rob are genuinely AWESOME!

Such a nice spot in the world - close to town and Robber’s Cave. Perfect for our family.

The cabin is exactly like thevouctures shown and as described. It’s so quiet and peaceful and the firepit is awesome! The cabin is clean, cute and cozy. Melissa was very helpful and offered assistance if we needed it! We had a great stay and plan to go back again soon!

Melissa really went above and beyond this time! This is my second stay on her property, which is lovely. This trip, however we were set for an unusually brutal cold spell. Melissa moved me to a cabin that was known to be a little bit warmer and insured that I didn’t wake up to frozen pipes in the morning. I definitely recommend any of her properties.
