Excellent host and the backyard is very nice for outdoor meals. The walk to the beach is no more than 10 minutes, a nice bakery on the way to the beach. The river that is right next to the property is very quiet. The train tracks are right next to the house(train runs every 10 minutes) but the host has double windows in all rooms to lower the sound tremendously. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as the other 3 guest parties were a joy to converse with in the backyard. Two things to consider for your stay: 1.) Can you handle the train noise? every 10 minutes. 2.) Ask about bathroom size picture of the room you're renting. That backyard was worth it for me. like a mini arboretum.

Lieliska vieta ar brīnišķīgu skatu ezera krastā, skaisti iekopta apkārtējā teritorija, iespēja izmantot airu laivu un SUP dēli.

Es war alles ganz wundervoll. Es war nur sehr heiß, vor allem in der Nacht, da man die Heizung nicht regulieren konnte. Ansonsten alles sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Wir fanden es auch super, dass wir unseren Hund mitnehmen konnten. Alle waren super nett und hilfsbereit. Danke für alles.

Séjour agréable même en plein hiver

A truly beautiful and rare find. This cabin was exactly what we wanted. Away from the busy town. The perfect place to relax with everything you need, even the little details like proper teas and coffee. The sauna and hot tub were amazing and kindly pre lit for our arrival. If your looking for an out the way calming quiet stay go here!!!

Akmeni Resort was amazing! It was very clean and cozy. Kitchen had all equipment for cooking and a big bonus was coffee machine, as we are big coffee lovers. Beds were big and very comfortable with extra pillows. Outside there was a BBQ and with extra cost we could use jacuzzi or sauna. Grownups had also comfy robes that were perfect after a jacuzzi. The place was perfect with kids, as all they did was having fun in pool or in jacuzzi, or if they had a break from swimming, they could play in the playground or just watch local squirrels play and eat in their cage. Even though there are three other rentals on the spot, it was quite peaceful and we could enjoy sound of crickets in the evening. We really loved this place!

The apartment itself was spacious, modern, and had a great ambiance ideal for a group stay. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds and the well-stocked kitchen, which made our time together even more enjoyable. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Agris. Die Unterkunft war hygienisch und sehr gemütlich, sodass wir uns bestens entspannen konnten. Agris war äußerst freundlich, sprach sowohl Deutsch als auch Englisch. Er stand uns jederzeit mit persönlichen Tipps zur Verfügung. In der Dämmerung gab es Mücken, und lange Kleidung half dort. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt sehr gut. Danke, Agris!

Ļoti atsaucīga un izpalīdzīga saimniece! Fantastiska atpūta namiņā, izbaudot pilnīgu mieru un klusumu. Lieliska iespēja izbaudīt peldi blakus esošajā dīķi un sasildīties kublā. Fantastisks skats uz briežu dārzu. Bija iespēja ļoti labi relaksēties un atpūsties no ikdienas steidzīgā ritma.

L’appartamento è delizioso e spazioso, in un’area riparata dalla confusione del centro ma molto strategica per spostarsi a piedi per la città. I dettagli interni erano veramente carini e Konstantin ci ha fornito tempestivamente tutte le istruzioni per fare un check in semplice e senza sforzi.

Ļoti patīkama pieredze! Dzīvoklis bija tīrs, mājīgs un aprīkots ar visu nepieciešamo. Saimnieks bija ļoti laipns un atsaucīgs, ātri atbildēja uz visiem jautājumiem. Paldies par lielisko viesmīlību!

We were very pleased with our stay at Karlis’ house, which features a charming garden, a cozy terrace, and comfortable upstairs bedrooms. We stayed for three days with our dog, who was warmly welcomed. The nearby forest, with its many scenic trails, was perfect for walks. The peaceful, nature-filled area just outside Riga was ideal for relaxing. The house’s rustic feel, especially on the lower floor, added to its charm. The front door was an unforgettable, authentic detail—it felt like stepping into a Grimm’s fairy tale. The house has been modernized with care, preserving its unique "cigar box" character, especially at the lower floor. Karlis' house is truly a gem, and it was a delight to learn about the artist who once lived there and see his remarkable sculptures still on display.

Klusa vietiņa mežā pie pašas jūras. Rudenī - burvīgi omulīgi - mājiņa ar savu kamīnkrāsniņu, teritorija plaša, citi viesi nebija jūtami. Mūsu aktīvais suns arī bija apmierināts - izskrējies pa krūmiem, mežu un jūru. Ārkārtīgi laipna un atsaucīga saimniece!

Unser Aufenthalt bei Agnese war sehr schön! Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir waren dort Ende Oktober/ Anfang November, sodass es schon etwas kalt war. Es gab einen Ofen, bei dem wir selbst das Feuer entfachen und versorgen mussten. Das war kein Problem. Die Umgebung war sehr ruhig, jedoch liegt das Haus direkt an einer größeren Straße. Im Haus und auch im Schlafzimmer war es für uns jedoch kein Problem. Wir würden die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen!
