This house is super cool. Tons of room and there's even an electric organ. Like a museum.

The setting was gorgeous - mountain views out every window! The house was spacious and well-appointed. We loved the antique furniture coupled with all the modern amenities . Bryan was friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Tom & Estie were very quick to respond with any questions we had, we stayed for two weeks but really wish we could’ve stayed longer. We might be planning a trip back soon!

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay here. The projector & hottub were wonderful to relax with, and we made sure to take advantage of the smores kit! The hiking trail nearby can be quite steep, so keep that in mind if you or your friends/family have issues with balance. Overall, we would absolutely recommend this camper as a safe-haven from the stress of the real world. Do make sure you have a car with 4WD, as the path up can be muddy and quite steep.

This was me and my husband’s third stay at this location for our 3rd anniversary and we love it there. We drive 4 1/2 hours for it. It is so peaceful and private. We love the hammock and fire pit and the hot tub is super nice. The camper is cozy for us two. We can’t wait to come back next year.

If a peaceful, sleepy, serene example of what living in a small town is really like, then this is the perfect place for you! This absolutely beautiful and well preserved farmhouse, which dates back to the 1890’s was clearly restored by people who obviously love this house and a way of life that has become very difficult to experience for most folks today. The grounds are picturesque and the livestock on the grounds, only add to the genuine appeal of the overall property. Karen is a very kind, generous, and responsive hostess which only serves to make a stay here more comfortable. The dining area is spacious and well lit. The finer details of this house have been preserved in working order as well. Check out is just as easy as checking in as a side note. To be certain, I have never stayed in any other Air B&B, that I would have been proud to call my own. I have nothing but praise for Karen and the job they did in making it possible for folks to experience this area, and Lee County VA!

Melody and her son James were beyond amazing & kind. A truly personal touch was felt from their joint hosting that gave me & my untraditional, neurodivergent family of tired adults & hyper littles both the welcoming warmth & freeing independence we needed to make it one of the best weekend visits my godchildren have ever had with me (GMama) & their mom — my chosen sister, and the very best birthday my oldest godson has yet had — by his own declaration. The kiddos really want to go back there & we do too!!

Kevin our host was so gracious and helpful. We spent almost the entire day with him and his staff. He owns the restaurant and pub downstairs, so you can find him very easily. My son and I had a great time with Kevin and his staff and the regular locals. We were in town for a college orientation trip. The apartment is huge. Very well decorated and super comfortable. If you’re looking to hike or explore, this is a great jump off point. You can do outdoor activities all day and come back to a great dinner and drinks. We had a great time and look forward to seeing Kevin and staff in the future.

Such a unique little get away with a most peaceful setting and beautiful views. Tom and Estie were very responsive and even had an anniversary card with wine and treats for us. We'll definitely recommend this place to others visiting.

I am so grateful I was able to stay at this place. I came to the mountains for alone time and healing. I enjoyed sitting in the hot tub watching Shrek and laughing. Also, thank you for the s'mores supplies!
