We had an amazing stay! The cabin was beautiful, and Alexa was very responsive. We loved her recommendations for attractions and things to do around the cabin if you’re looking to go out in any way. The overall cabin was fantastic and made for an amazing trip!

Jen was extremely easy to work with and very responsive. I stayed here with some friends for a wedding just north of the house. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the house and view!

We came in winter and it was beautiful. They were responsive to our questions and helped us figure out how to get heat to the basement. Turned out great. Would highly recommend.

Great place! My only disappointment was washing machine was listed and when I arrived it was out of service. Other than that very nice place.

Larry’s cabin was perfect for a cozy, quiet weekend getaway. Not a lot of activity in the area which was nice. I loved being able to watch the sunset over the lake from the couch. Very clean, stocked with everything you might need for cooking, and the loft bedroom is the icing on the cake. I would definitely stay here again!

I love the house, super spacious and private! I love that there’s two living spaces. My parents were able to relax upstairs while us girls were downstairs doing our own thing. I also like that we have our own individual bedrooms, beds are super comfortable as well. I would love to come again and stay longer. Thanks!

My wife and I booked this home for ourselves and 5 other couples (12 people total) and we had a great time! There was plenty of space for us all, and it was the perfect place to connect with our friend group. The main living room was spacious and comfortable to fit all of us at one time. We spent most of our time cooking together, playing games, and doing some hiking in the surrounding area. This home definitely enhanced our great weekend :) The sauna and hot tub are also great amenities, so we always had something to do! Dan and Mona Jo were responsive hosts and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We recommend booking this gem ASAP before somebody else does!

Place was nice and quiet, a fun getaway with a great family game room. They have a nice dock with decent fishing: we caught a couple of large mouth bass and pike. Beautiful firepit and front porch to watch great sunsets. We enjoyed the sauna, cornhole and outdoor space. Unfortunately the deerfly were a bit annoying making it hard to be outside at times. Would recommend bringing a boat or kayak to get out on the lake. We would come back again.

What a lovely home and beautiful surroundings!! It was very homey and comfortable for our group of 4 on a girlfriend weekend get-a-way - the kitchen and dining area were perfect to spend cooking and eating together! And with it being winter, it was fun to have a bonfire down by the frozen lake! Our host, Donna, was quick to respond and very helpful with whatever we needed. Our group would return in a heart beat!!

This was a very clean and welcoming house, perfect for our girls weekend. There was plenty of room for 10 of us. We loved the view of the lake, watching ducks and even an otter. Excellent flexibility when needing to change the number of guests and great communication. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The property is absolutely gorgeous! The lake is pristine and we spent a lot of time on the beautiful dock and in the surrounding woods. We loved using the sauna as the weather was a bit cooler during our stay. We thought the beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space for our family of six. We thought a few things could use some updating. We wished there had been a larger TV upstairs so that we could all comfortably watch movies or sports in the family room. Also, the basement shower did not have adequate water flow and so we all ended up using the upstairs shower. Ultimately, these weren’t dealbreakers for us because our primary purpose was to spend our time outdoors. If you are looking for a true north woods getaway, this will hit the mark.

This rental was so beautiful! Our group had so much fun and will hopefully be back next year!

This place is an absolute dream! My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary, we have 3 boys so our lives are chaotic to say the least (LOL) so we wanted a peaceful woodsy type of cabin to relax in and this place truly exceeded our expectations and more. It is so peaceful! Such a beautiful cabin and super clean as well. We hope to be back. Thank you guys for a wonderful stay!

Staying at Zach’s place has become one of my families core memories! We spent our new years in his super cozy and complete house. Zach was very accommodative, he provided everything that we needed. If you love serene space, comfy vibes, cooking, and having great time with your families and friends this is the right place to go. Can’t wait to comeback during the Summer!

Our second time at birchwood landing was just as wonderful as the first! As usual, Erin and Jared were a pleasure to work with. The place is perfect for relaxing and enjoying quality family time. And it’s stocked with everything you need. The wendigo arm of Pokegama lake never feels too busy, even during a summer weekend. We highly recommend birchwood landing and hope to stay here again.

Our family had a lovely stay at the cabin. The lake is beautiful and we enjoyed the outdoor areas very much. Ate every meal around the big table on the deck.

Lovely location for a peaceful retreat in the woods. The views from the home are beautiful, and there’s also easy walks in the woods for those who want some fresh air. The home is welcoming, perfectly laid out and has a relaxing feel. The kitchen is a dream for those who like to cook, and the living spaces are well appointed and comfortable.
