Staying at Jeremy’s was a breeze. He was super responsive to all questions and everything was just as described. It’s very peaceful by the lake and there’s lots to do nearby (would especially recommend Thousand Islands National Park!)

What can I say that all the other reviews haven't already said? The house is amazing. I must have spent the first hour there just looking around at everything. It was as cool as we hoped. Captain Mike is the consummate host. He greeted us (in a captain's hat, of course!) and immediately helped us get set up. We loved the hot tubs (!!!) and the ziplines. A bunch of us wandered around and it was the perfect winter walking environment. The riverboat is so cool! The wood stove is very cozy. We felt so welcome, Captain Mike helped us with everything and made sure the grounds were pristine even with constant snowfall. He even gave us a tow on the way out! I'm hoping to book again to see what it's like in the summer. If you're reading this and you're curious about the space, it really is that cool. You should go to Captain Mike's amazing home!

Was the 10-hour round trip worth it? Absolutely, without a doubt! Even though the weather wasn't ideal, it only added to the charm of this beautiful cabin—honestly, we felt like we were in a cozy winter wonderland. I can't think of a single negative moment from our stay. Even our cats would agree. Alison and James have truly created something special here, and their attention to detail made this one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had. Not to mention all the incredible visits we got from the local wildlife. Communication with Alison was seamless, which truly helped ease our nerves about visiting a new place while navigating through challenging weather conditions. We’re already looking forward to coming back and experiencing the treehouse in all its glory (hopefully without the freezing rain next time!). Thank you, Alison and James, for making our stay unforgettable!

This is our second time staying here and we were just as happy as the first time. It’s a unique spot, it’s private and very peaceful. The Byrd’s are always available if we needed anything.

The cottage is located on a lovely bay - very close to the lakeside. It is very peaceful- listening to the call of the loons. Thank you very much to our friendly host for a great stay. The kitchen is very well equipped, with condiments, pots and pans, etc - nice barbecue on the deck.

We loved our stay with our family and four legged friends! Great location close to our family and easy travel to Elgin for food and Westport for shops and Brewery!

The house is cozy, comfortable and spacious. Great location with scenic lake view. Host is very responsive and check in is smooth. The whole family really enjoyed and loved the stay.

This was such an amazing place to spend a birthday! Kevin and Melissa even put up a birthday banner which was so cute! The place was so clean and very pretty, the hot tub was fantastic, and all the activities were so so much fun! I would love to go back in the summer!

This was my second time starting at Serenity Bay Resort, and it just keeps getting better! These hosts keep the grounds so well maintained, there's so much for the kids to do, and the hottubs at the cottages are just a perfect touch! Always nice and clean and tidy, with everything needed for your stay. We will definitely be booking another getaway here!

Kevin & Melissa went above and beyond by hanging up a Happy Birthday sign for my daughter's 16th Birthday girls weekend. Their place is exactly as described. Everything was super easy from start to finish. The girls had a great time hanging in the hot tub and watching the sun set. I would love to come back in the summer.

The Lakeview Farmhouse was fabulous! The beds were extremely comfortable & linens were lovely. As hosts, Kevin & Melissa know how to meet your needs, we felt they went above and beyond what we could have expected! Will definitely go back.

Such a special place. I was visiting my family for Thanksgiving and wanted to find a cottage that would accommodate a family of 5. By a stroke of luck I was able to book Kevin and Melissa’s place. (Due to a last minute cancellation). There was a full weekend of thanksgiving events. They went ALL out!! The trailer was so beautiful and comfortable. And the view from all the windows and deck are breathtaking. Wonderful place and wonderful people. Will definitely be back!

When they say location, location, location this is the place. What a phenomenal view as your looks outside your patio door, chilling by the fire in the yard or sitting on the edge of the dock. As for the house. Cute but definitely not for 2 couples trying to save and share the experience of a beautiful area. My only 2 complaints is the only bathroom is in the one bedroom makes it awkward for the others to use the facilities. And the other was the bed was like sleeping on a rock. We had to put a futon mattress on top the mattress just to sleep comfortably. The owners, I can’t say enough. They were amazing. They went out of their way to surprise my wife with anniversary flowers and balloons. Communication with them was great. Would I go back again… YES but with the little one not another couple.

This cottage is just a perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors and the nature. The cottage is superb with a huge deck looking onto the lake with lots of room to comfortably dine outdoors, extra fridge in the shed for all the drinks, a fire pit just in front of the lake and many water toys to enjoy the lake. By the way the lake is very quite, clean, and is ideal for swimming. The cottage had everything you would need for a comfortable stay - it is fully equipped as described in the listing. The 5 bedrooms on the second level are super cozy with comfortable mattresses and plenty of pillows and extra blankets. The hosts were very nice, accommodating and very responsive to all of our inquiries. Overall, our family had a perfect stay and we wish we could have stayed longer, but hopefully we will come back again!

John and Pauline made us feel right at home. They were so welcoming, we really enjoyed our vacation.

This resort is absolutely lovely and we can't wait to go back. A few notes for those considering booking here. 1 - The barbecues are charcoal. Bring coals and lighter fluid. 2 - The property caretaker, Alan, is an absolute sweetheart. He knows the area like the back of his hand and is always so happy to help. He's a huge part if why we would go back in a heartbeat. -- Thank you, Alan. You are a marvelous host. The property houses 6 cabins that are all very well-spaced from each other, have their own docks, barbecues, and fire pits. The cabins have AC units that blow so cold, some nights we had to turn them off! There is a corkboard with information, including rental information if you don't have a boat. Thanks to that info, the boys got in a nice bit of fishing time. Everything was so stress-free. 100% would go back.

Stephanie’s got such a great little place on Charleston! Very cute and Cozy! We enjoyed ourselves so much we never wanted to leave, great location for fishing! The cottage is located 5 minutes boat ride away from the nearest public boat launch, we docked ourselves with ease on her dock. They also had so many board games to offer! I would return again!

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette grande maison, bel emplacement avec une super vue, et nous avons pu voir différents animaux, les enfants étaient heureux. Proche des croisières aux 1000 îles et de sentiers de randonnée dans le parc de Charleston, un vrai dépaysement. Un grand merci à notre hôte Gregory pour sa gentillesse, son accueil et ses conseils . We, a family with young kids, had a wonderful stay at this charming new-build cottage! From the moment we arrived, Steve greeted us with hospitality, providing boat rides to the cottage and ensuring we settled in comfortably. The cottage itself was immaculate, beautifully designed, and had all the modern amenities we could ask for. The highlight for us was the private beach access to the St. Lawrence River, where our kids enjoyed playing and swimming in the clear, refreshing waters from the private beach. The canoeing was fantastic; we paddled around the serene waters and took in breathtaking views of the river and surrounding nature. Fishing enthusiasts in our group were thrilled with the opportunities right off the dock. This island location was perfect for our family, peaceful yet close enough to charming towns of Thousand Islanda for exploring local shops, restaurants, and Boldt Castle. Thank you Steve for everything, we hope to return in the future!
