This is a good spot. I stayed here with my two kids for 4 nights. One night was loud, the other 3 nights were quiet. The house is large and rustic. It sometimes felt hot and there were mosquitos, which was expected. The location is remote which we liked. You can swim from the property, but watch out for coral and sea cucumbers (like most places on the island). Vetea lives on the property next to the rental. He's a lovely host, happy to help and also not overbearing. It was fun to be with him and his family. We are super appreciative.

J'hésite vraiment à utiliser tous les superlatifs dont le français dispose pour décrire cet endroit. Le spot est bien plus beau que ce que les photos ne peuvent le laisser voir.. Vetea est une super personne ! au petits soins Nous avons bien rigolé en qq jours MERCI pour ton accueil!

Nous avons passé 4 nuits chez Titaua et Nicolas. Ce sont des personnes vraiment très gentilles et agréables. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié passer du temps avec eux ! Merci à Nicolas pour la sortie bateau c’était idyllique ! Le Fare est parfait pour un couple et la vue est à couper le souffle.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have stayed here. Thierry & his family have created a home that is both stunning & welcoming. From the moment we arrived, their hospitality was evident—not only in the timely airport pick-up but in their responsiveness to any questions we had during our stay. The setting is pure magic. Mornings began with coffee on the beachfront patio, where reef crabs scuttled across the sand as if to greet us. Just a step away, the coral reef offered incredible snorkeling, the warm clear water teems with marine life. Evenings brought breathtaking sunsets over Bora Bora, a view we never tired of. The home itself was perfectly designed for comfort. Cooking was easy with the well-equipped kitchen, & hot water on demand exceeded all expectations. Thierry’s dinners & fruit were perfect, a small luxury that made a big difference. Every detail, from the setting to the thoughtful amenities, made this a place we are eager to visit again for a longer stay. Mauruuru!!!

Maira and her daughter were the best and most helpful hosts ever. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. We had come after staying at the Intercontinental Thalasso Resort. We also wanted to explore around the main island and do not regret booking here. The customer service was the same as that of a 5 star resort. When we arrived the hosts gave us recommendations on where to eat and even scheduled us for a lagoon tour within an hours notice. The tour was amazing. The Yacht Club is a short 5 min walk and a great place to eat dinner. Saint James is also a short 16 minute walk and a good place for drinks. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast option that is offered is also very good.

Staying with Dominique and Corinne at their beautiful bungalow in Huahine was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, greeted warmly at the boat, we felt like part of their family. Their kindness and hospitality went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. The bungalow itself is a perfect retreat—private, with filtered water and all the comforts you could need. The pool was an oasis, offering the perfect spot to relax and unwind after exploring the island. Domy’s food recommendations were spot-on, leading us to what was possibly the best meal of our trip. During our stay, I had a medical issue, and both Dominique and Corinne were incredibly helpful and supportive, showing genuine care and concern. Their thoughtfulness made a stressful situation so much easier to manage. We cannot recommend this stay highly enough. If you’re lucky enough to stay with them, you’ll leave with not only wonderful memories but also a deep appreciation for their warmth and generosity.
