Our stay at Suzy's Airbnb near Hilo was absolutely wonderful! Perfectly located for exploring the east side of the island, and easy access to Hilo's, restaurants, and beautiful beaches and snorkeling spots. Suzy was an incredible host – she provided us with so much helpful information about the nearby restaurants and snorkeling spots The house itself was a true oasis. It had everything we needed, and the lush, green lawn surrounding the property was so peaceful. We loved falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of birds and watching the many birds that visited the bird feeders and yard – it felt like a little slice of paradise. Our only regret is that we were so busy exploring Hilo and the surrounding that we didn’t spend enough time relaxing at the house! It’s such a tranquil and inviting space, and we wish we had taken more time to enjoy it. Thank you, Suzy, for being such a thoughtful and welcoming host. We highly recommend when visiting Hilo and we definitely return one day

Beautiful place, surrounded by lush green and horizon sea views. It was perfect for us, a family of four. Spacious and comfortable. We were also impressed how reliable hot water, Internet and power is to be a off grid home. This is a quite remote location which we liked. Recommendations were great. At nights the starry skies where just amazing. Lot of games for kids. The lanai is relaxing and gorgeous for breakfast, a coffee or reading. Fully recommended! We would definitely repeat this stay!

Ryan and Kaimi were excellent hosts who went out of their way to provide a good experience for their guests. And the place was beautiful and in a great location to go into the park and not far away from all the stores. We would definitely recommend this place to others and would stay here again!

A beautiful place to stay. Felt right at home in the jungle, private space with a friendly public shared kitchen and hot tip area. Close to volcanos national park and Dawn had excellent recs for things to do.

We come every year and stay at Lindsay's home. We consider her home "our second home." Lindsay and her family are the best and we "highly recommend" staying here. It is a beautiful, clean, peaceful home. Close enough to Hilo and swimming, but away from the crowds at the end of a busy day. The breeze that travels through the home is unbelievable, the sleeping is perfect at night (comfortable beds), and the morning sun and birds make waking up a pleasure. Once you stay here, you will want to come back every year!

We really enjoyed staying here. The place is very spacious and well appointed. It worked well as a jumping off point for Puna sight seeing as well as just chilling on the lanai. The beach across the street (one of the only swim friendly beaches in the area) was convenient and the breeze and views from the second floor unit lanai were great. Scott was friendly, provided good recommendations and responded to communication quickly. He’s also quite easygoing and nothing is complicated. The place was close (in between) to the 2018 lava flow sites. Having seen the volcano erupting a few days earlier, it was quite something to see up close the magnitude and power of Pele and how the landscape is actively changing due to volcanic activity. Recommend as a very comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Wonderful location minutes from Volcano National Park. Great communication with the host. Perfect set up for a family. Beautiful quiet neighborhood. And Our host notified us when Kīlauea erupted to make sure that we had a chance to see it - very thoughtful.

GREAT place to stay! My Grandbabies had a blast on the swing set and the adults with the putting green right outside our door! Better than the pictures! Cool breezes, ac, hot water, full kitchen, w/d onsite for$4. Love the convenience and comfy, fluffy beds! Even with multiple units, our suite felt very private! Felt safe the whole time! Daryl was friendly and available! Only might be troublesome for some to climb steep, narrow stairs and at times you may need to park in the Airbnb overflow lot down the sloped driveway. The free gated parking is still way better than trying to find a stall at a hotel! Thank you Daryl! Would definitely stay again if available!

We would highly recommend this rental! Brenda was excellent, and the house was so cozy. She accommodated our requests and was very understanding of everything. The only suggestion we’d make to other renters is to bring a jacket because it’s a little more chilly than you’d expect in Volcano in general. While we were there, we saw lava as the volcano erupted (we were totally safe)! Quite a treat!
