A lovely house in a lovely setting

we couldn't recommend this fabulous accommodation enough. It is set in beautiful surroundings with spectacular views. The property is everything you need and more. The rooms are all excellent and we had a choice of relaxing spaces to chillout in. Fantastic location with great space both inside and out. We met John who was lovely to chat to and pointed us in the right direction for activities to do etc. We will definitely be returning 😊

Hemos estado 3 familias alojadas durante 4 días (13 personas en total) y hemos tenido espacio suficiente para todos, tanto para dormir como para sentarnos a la mesa a comer o cenar. Hay menaje suficiente para todo, lo único que hemos echado de menos es unas tijeras. Uno de los baños era muy pequeño y con poco espacio para dejar las cosas, pero los demás estaban muy bien. Es una casa preciosa en un sitio encantador y supertranquilo. Está en una buena zona para conocer el noroeste de Irlanda e Irlanda del Norte. Está algo lejos de Belfast y de la calzada de los gigantes. La anfitriona es encantadora y está siempre atenta a lo que puedas necesitar. La relación calidad-precio es bastante buena. En definitiva, es una casa muy recomendable.

This castle in Tipperary is truly a gem. It was actually much larger than the photos make it seem; the price is very reasonable for what you get. Freda and Declan are extremely hospitable and helpful. They were also flexible when we needed to switch our dates and with our check-in/out times. There are hiking trails on the property, and the views from the front porch are stunning. We brought four families, including our elderly grandparents, and this was the perfect spot to be. Would definitely stay again!

The place is fabulous and spotless. The surrounding is peaceful and relaxing yet with stunning views. It has everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay. Clodagh is very friendly and helpful.

We fell in love with the house. It just felt like home. Super comfortable, peaceful, spacious and clean. It had every amenity you can wish for. I could have stayed forever. One negative, unfortunately, was the Internet connection. It did not work at all. We contacted Susan and were told that the provider does not work weekends. I think maybe a little effort could have been done to contact a help desk to intervene. Some of us needed to connect for work and it was quite frustrating that the service was not available. It also meant of course that we could not watch any of the TV applications available on their smart TV.

We were a group of 7 guests staying for 2 nights. We hiked Slieve Donard on day 1 and one of our guests could not hike so Lorna facilitated this guest to arrive early and chill out prior to the rest of our group arriving. The remaining guests all arrived later in the day.....I have the text from the first guest who arrived and she said 'This place is GORGEOUS' In the lead up to our stay Lorna gave advice on local restaurants in both Dundrum and Newcastle, both of which were first class. Lorna also gave our guests the option of joining in a yoga class on our first morning there. This is a great way to start the day. The place is immaculately cleaned and newly furbished and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anybody who wants to enjoy the beautiful surrounds of the Mourne mountains. this listing is definitely worth the money, very private and beautiful surroundings and so close to town, inside was spacious and really clean, bed were so comfortable, living area was so comfortable and really warm, kitchen had what we needed, trish and John were so welcoming and were there If we needed anything. we really enjoyed this stay and hope to come back again.

Beautiful view of the sea and very spacious house. Dave was extremely responsive and made us feel right at home. Location also very close to a grocery store, coffee, food, etc.

Rossnaree House is not a modern fru fru boutique hotel, but rather a delightful glimpse into the Ireland of long ago, a disappearing Ireland. All of the furnishings and decorations have family meaning, going back generations. Juxtaposed with that are the bathrooms, which have been tastefully modernized…the result is a lovely mixture of the old and the new. This house simply reeks of history and authenticity. The views from the rooms and the gardens are stunning…this area is the heartbeat of Mystical Ireland and if you allow you can and will be transported to another time, another realm. There are walkways down to the River Boyne and the ancient burial mound of Newgrange is close by. Simply stated this is as real and as authentic as it gets. Come with an open mind…but do come, fantastic…oh, and there are peacocks!

This place is a must it is absolutely beautiful and so worth the cost and our Host Robert was incredible checking in all the time if we were still happy and needed anything plus on arrival there was the most beautiful and practical gift basket plus the places fresh water and milk in fridge and speciality cheeses for us along with fresh flowers in kitchen and dining area and what was most appreciated was the fact they have placed a beautiful Christmas Tree to place us in the perfect Christmas spirit and make us feel at home thank YOU

We had a brilliant time at the house. It is beautiful, spacious, comfortable and well kitted out. The disco room and the hot tub were glorious 🤌 Michael was easy to deal with and very sound. Would recommend!!!

The overall stay was great exactly as described loads to do including jacuzzi, pool table, games, projector. Plenty of space we were a group of 11 and we felt the place was very spacious. The house was very clean as well. The hosts left a binder full of restaurants, things to do and important numbers for emergency services etc as well as detailed explanations for all amenities in the house which was very helpful. Good location very scenic and quiet. Only thing to note is the black ball is missing from the pool table and the supply of toilet paper was small for 11 people. Overall amazing stay for the price we had the best time highly recommend!

100% recommend this accommodation! We had a stressful journey and our arrival time changed but Phelim was accommodating and kind. It is the perfect family holiday home and we will be returning !
