A wonderful visit. So impressed by the views, a great location. Far enough away from town that you have peace and tranquility but close enough to walk to Elie and enjoy all the local amenities. The accommodation itself is beautiful and we had a wonderful stay. Thank you again!

We were looking for a total peaceful break, clear instructions on how to use amenities, hot tub was really clean and really warm so enjoyed hours relaxing in it! Thank you Ainslie ❤️

Very well designed cottage making the best possible use of quite a small space - with both a shower room and bathroom , utility room as well as kitchen/living space and the patio with hot tub. Although near to the High Street with a range of takeaways and a superb butcher (Hunters) the cottage is in a very quiet street. The nearby Curate Wynd free car park was very handy and we could unload from there. Although Dawn and Darren were away Dawn was on hand to answer any queries. We had a great three day break - spending the days at the RSPB Nature Reserve in stunning weather. We ate out one night at the Balgedie Toll Tavern - highly recommended for great food and very good service.

We loved our stay at Madeira house. There was 8 adults in total and one dog and there was plenty of space. All the beds were big and comfortable, and the sofa bed was very spacious and comfortable too! The kitchen was very well equipped and the bbq and hot tub was a great bonus! The location was very peaceful and there was a great pub in Pittenweem for food called the West end - I would recommend! Overall a great stay, thank you!

Wonderful stay. The location is absolutely superb. What amazing views and so peaceful and remote. Sitting in the hot tub looking out over the hills was pure bliss!! And the stars you could see on a clear night, wow. Despite being so remote it’s close enough to Edinburgh that you can drive in and do all the attractions. So just perfect. Kylie was a fab host too, leaving Easter eggs for the kids and letting the kids feed her kunekune pig one day! The animals are great, especially Karen then hen, although she will come inside if allowed haha! All in all, we had a fantastic stay. Thank you Kylie

Super logement , cocooning comme nous le souhaitions! Accès à Édimbourg relativement rapide. Attention aux instructions d’entrée, car le tri sélectif en Écosse n’est pas le même que le nôtre en France .. beaucoup plus poussé ce qui est un bon point pour l’environnement . J’ai fais par réflexe comme en France ce qui m’a value à juste titre un message D’Ali . Si je devais repartir en Écosse sans hésitation je reprendrais le même logement .. le SPA avec vue c’est un bonheur!

A tranquil and peaceful stay in this spacious and well equipped cottage. We were well looked after by Jenny and co. and felt totally relaxed. Enjoyed our interactions with farm life, which included birthing a lamb, petting the donkies and seeing the newborn kittens, it made our stay very special. The house is well located for trips into Edinburgh and Glasgow, or to enjoy nearby countryside. You won't regret it!

We had a lovely few days, staying at Appletree Cottage, with our two grandchildren aged 6 and 3. The cottage was very comfy and well equipped, and ideally suited our needs. Good location for many attractions such as Blair Drummond Safari Park, Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies. We were lucky to have good weather so the excellent play area and hot tub were much enjoyed each day. Would definitely recommend booking.

We spent a lovely couple of nights at The Bothy. Beautifully done out with everything you need! We enjoyed the cosy log burner and appreciated more logs being supplied by Gillian on the second day. Would highly recommend, great peaceful location with access to lots of lovely surrounding villages and towns of East Lothian.

We’re a group of 5 adults and 2 cocker spaniels and have just returned from a lovely short stay at Pondfield Cottage, Gifford. The cottage was immaculately clean with 3 large double bedrooms and a lovely enclosed garden for the dogs to play in. The lounge was comfortable and cosy with a wood burning stove and a selection of DVDs, books and board games. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need with some lovely little unexpected touches like a spice rack. The location of the cottage is next door to an equine centre and horses are regularly walked past the house which was lovely to see. One small issue we experienced was resolved immediately, even though it was Easter Sunday, which demonstrated exceptional service from the owner. We would certainly recommend this property.

From initial contact, through arrival, stay and departure, everything was ideal. Libby's warm welcome, the cleanliness, comfort, facilities and general atmosphere were all quiteoutstanding.

Beautifully quaint bolthole! The Cupboard is a utterly lovely place in Elie, literal stonesthrow from the beach, where our dog and us had a magical time. Tiny but expertly laid out, and efficiently uses the space so you feel super at home. We love it and will defo be back

We really enjoyed Kirsty’s place very comfortable, had everything you would need for a short or long stay. Would happily recommend this property for families, sleeps 5-7, spacious lounge with a well appointed kitchen. Kirsty was easy to communicate with and prompt with her responses.

The accommodations were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the location is quiet. The home was very clean, and we found everything in working order. Gaele is friendly, responsive, and a gracious hostess. We highly recommend this property. We felt the welcome and she gave us great suggestions on restaurants and places to see.

We had a super stay at Wemyss Estate. We felt very much at home, & enjoyed the local walks on the Estate and Fife Coastal Path, & further afield.

We had a very restful and relaxing stay at Jo's house for three weeks. The farm is in a stunning location with lots of beautiful walks from the door and lots to see in the locality with a host of good recommendations in the information pack supplied by Jo. The house was comfortable and had pretty much all one might need for longer stay. The weather was glorious throughout our stay which was very welcomed.

The cottage is beautiful, very week equipped and has everything you need for a stay away from home. The log burner is so cosy and the water pressure in the shower is amazing! We loved our stay and communication was fantastic. Hope to come back again soon xx

Lovely comfortable cottage in a very quiet area, so peaceful. Towels and linen were well presented and fresh towels given halfway through the week we were there. Cottage was so warm considering it was February. A summer stay would be amazing with the lovely garden area which is well furnished to suit a family or group of friends. Thank you.

We stayed in multiple locations during our trip around Scotland and this was by far our favorite. Clean, welcoming, and picturesque are only a few words to describe this fairytale location. It is rural which is a wonderful way to be apart of the Scottish country side. We would live there if allowed. Gorgeous!!! Thank you again!

Lewis’s flat was just beautiful. It was spotless and had everything that was needed. The kitchen was well stocked and there were goodies and essentials left for us to enjoy. So nice to have these things when you are travelling. Would highly recommend this lovely spot.

Loved our stay here. Shona was the perfect host, very responsive and thoughtful. The cottage is so warm and cosy, it had everything we needed. The view onto the beach is wonderful and it’s just a stones throw from the brilliant Ship Inn. Elie itself is very pretty and with all the little fishing villages nearby to visit too, it makes for a fabulous base. I’ll definitely be back!

I could not recommend a stay at Sarah’s dovecot more. It is truly a very special place. Its history tells a great story while having modern upgrades to keep it cozy and romantic. My wife and I spent our honeymoon here and loved every second. Sarah is a great host. You can often see her working in her garden. She is so lovely to speak with and always gave us great local recommendations. The cottage is very private while still being a short walk to the old town. We will be back!
