Great accommodation, close to Edinburgh via car. The place was very organised and prepared well for our check in. Felt very welcomed. The room is private and away from the house with a private entrance so that was great.

Wonderful host in a wonderful city. We spend a week in October in the coziest spot in town - away from the bustling city in a local home. Fiona welcomed us and told us all we needed to know. She provided everything we needed and the sweetest golden retriever. Couldn't have wished for a better place to sleep. Huge thanks from Denmark! 🇩🇰

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour sur Edimbourg. La maison est très belle et se situe a côté des arrêts de bus et a 10min à pied du tram. Il est donc Facile de rejoindre le centre. La maison est grande et permet d’accueillir plusieurs personnes ! Petit + qui fait la différence… chaque chambre a sa salle de bain ! L’hôte est très réactif et accueillant ! Merci Guy

We loved staying here, very easy entry but was down stairs in the cellar so was a tad slippy and dark. The room was absolutely beautiful, just like the pictures. Smelt amazing when you walked in and everything was spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfy and cozy, very nice and warm room perfect for December in Edinburgh! Bathroom was perfect too and we even had a little side room for our bag and coats off our bedroom which was nice to have things out the way. Great location next to the park and a very easy walk to town/ train station and bus links. Would 100% recommend this place to stay.

Wij hebben heerlijke dagen gehad in Edinburgh. Wij kwamen aan in een prachtig schoon appartement met allemaal een eigen badkamer en heerlijke bedden. De ligging was fantastisch je kijkt uit op Arthur's seat. Je loopt gemakkelijk door het park naar het Holyroodpalace. Het huis was van alle gemakken voorzien. Gaan wij nog een keer naar Edinburgh komen wij zeker terug bij Mike. Mike dank je wel voor je goede zorgen

Patrick è stato molto gentile ed accogliente ad aspettarci fino a tarda notte per il check-in e non ci ha dato limitazioni per il check-out. La camera era pulita e ordinata con bagno ad uso esclusivo annesso. La casa è stata facilissima da trovare. Il quartiere è esclusivamente residenziale, fin troppo direi visto che non c'è neanche un bar ne un ristorante. La vicinanza all'aeroporto è ottima (8 minuti di auto), ma non c'è un mezzo pubblico diretto che ti ci porti, quindi o ne prendi uno e poi cammini 15/20 minuti o fai il cambio e prendi due mezzi o prendi un taxi e paghi un rene al chilometro. Comunque, nel complesso, bene.

We booked with Emily for the week of our wedding in Edinburgh and would without a doubt return again for future trips. Emily was nothing but accommodating and gracious in her hosting. There are clear instructions upon arrival, well thought out recommendations for exploring Edinburgh and the surrounding boroughs, and she was easy to reach if we needed her beyond that. The space was immaculate and thoughtfully decorated to highlight the property's charm and character, and served as a fantastic base for us to rest after long days of exploring the city. We couldn't wait to get back and sink into the comfortable bed each night! We got ready here the morning of our wedding and will cherish it always. The facilities available were fantastic and well maintained, with a well equipped space for cooking, a large comfortable bath and a spacious rainfall shower. We really felt at home for the duration of our stay and say if you're thinking about booking you, you won't be disappointed.

Our group of 3 adults/ 2 kids had a great stay at Rosie’s place for our holiday in Edinburgh. The best parts about the house are 1) location within walking distance of the castle and main tourist attractions and 2) the lovely front sitting room which made us feel like we had stepped back in time to a more elegant age :) Other than that the place was also very comfortable and well-equipped. Highly recommended for a stay in Edinburgh!

Very clean & comfortable apartment. Very accessible to Edinburgh city centre, buses close by & only 15mins from the airport by taxi/uber. Overall we had a great stay in a very clean & comforatble appartment with all the amenitites we could possibly need! Roy was a great host, very helpful & he checked in with us to ensure all was ok

Really appreciate to have met a fellow Harry Potter fan - we got our Gryffindor themed red room with a cozy soft bed and pillows! Sam’s really passionate about Harry Potter so staying with him would get you a lot of insider information, being a Potter tour guide himself. He was also very kind and accommodating, even letting us stay after checkout to finish up some work. Personally loved the witty house rules and the hair blower 🫶🏽 And of course, the 15-min walk to Victoria Street! Wish we could’ve stayed more nights.

Douglas was very helpful and friendly, the room he prepared for us was very well kept. We appreciated all the amenities in the room. Everything was well organized. The location is nice, though a bit far from most of the tourist destinations in Edinburgh. But its not too far from bus stops, so that's alright. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Lovely, quiet location, very close to Hollyrood and Royal Mile. Very comfortable and clean. Great parking spots nearby and the host was wonderful and very responsive. Will definitely recommend.

My husband, son and I had such a wonderful stay at Emma's place! The location was perfect- very close to everything by foot (and probably tram, but we just walked everywhere) but just around the corner from the action so the street was quiet and we all slept well. The house itself is a beautiful and comfortable home with high ceilings and lots of light on the first floor and cozy sleeping on the top. I'm a long time Airbnb host and really appreciate when a home is personal and styled for use, which this is, at the same time being very clean and comfortable. Also- the suggestions that Emma included in the house book were incredibly helpful! We ate at most of the restaurants and had fantastic meals! Highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.

We spent a lovely weekend in Edinburgh in this beautiful apartment! Matt was super helpful and made us feel very welcome. The area where the apartment is located is calm and the beds were super comfortable. Kitchen had all the necessities one needed and the common areas were cosy and nice. The apartment was warm, which we appreciated very much. Would be happy to return here anytime, a true gem!!

My stay was good! The place is as described, clean and cozy, had everything I needed. Good location! The hosts were welcoming and ready to help. I was very happy with heating sheet and cup of coffee in the morning!

Perfect location to explore The Pentland Hills and beyond, or stay outside the hustle & bustle of the city centre. There are buses to Edinburgh around every 10mins which takes around 20mins, plus late bus options for the return. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay plus there is a supermarket store just 2 mins walk to stock or try the pub/restaurants that are also on your doorstep. I'd made a really last minute booking so massive shout out to Gene who popped down after 7pm to let me in and show me around. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Everything was spotless, easy to use and well maintained. Shower was a simple push button affair with plenty of hot water to set up a great start to the day. Definitely a great option for a home away from home experience. Enjoy!

We had a perfect stay for 2 nights. Rachel was very friendly and helpful. Our rental car could be parked nearby 👍🏻 The rooms were clean. Good beds. Nice shower. Best part is the location near the new town. Recommended ++ PS just read a review about mice. We did not see any mice. Everything was just perfectly clean.
