Great spot in a quiet little town on the water

Barry's place is impeccably clean, spacious, and nicely decorated, including exposed brickwork and decor paying homage to the historic port city of Manistee. Kitchen is brand new, spotless, and well appointed with glassware, dishes , & utensils, appliances, and coffee station. As a guest, we were want for absolutely nothing. Bathroom is likewise new and spotless. Beds & bedding are very clean and comfortable. Barry provided very easy to following directions to the apartment, where to park, how to enter, and easy easy TV viewing. He rightfully suggests parking out front upon arrival to carry luggage in the front door and up (straight) stairwell into the apartment. The spiral staircase at the back where you park overnight is fine, would just be a challenge with luggage in tow. We absolutely recommend and will return. Literally the only thing we missed was eating out on the deck and watching boats & the occasional freighter passing thru the channel (we were here in March).

Perfect stay. Location was ideal. The apartment is large and comfortable. I was thrilled to stay in an Airbnb home that wasn't absolutely inundated in chemical fabric softeners and fragrances. This home was clean and did not have any chemical overwhelm. Excellent. Would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. This room was perfect for a few night stay, had basic kitchen amenities, Roku worked well, couch and lighting gave it cozy feel. Room was very clean, good use of small space. Great location. Communicative hosts. We would stay again.

Lovely place RIGHT on the lake. My husband and I went for a date weekend of ice fishing and relaxation. Yes-it was a perfect spot to walk out and fish despite the quantities of snow! Restaurants all right there in walking distance- hours are different than what is on menus or online so be aware. Very clean and cozy place that was spacious and warm. We will definitely keep it on our list for the future!

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed our getaway on Stevens Lake. The setting of this house is peaceful, quiet, and perfect for unwinding. We loved listening to the loon on the lake and our son had a great time down by the lake. The house itself was clean and comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. We arrived late at night on a foggy night, but Jane's directions were perfectly clear so we had no trouble locating this out of the way spot. Would highly recommend.

Great spot close to great breweries and restaurants. Easy check in and parking. Loved the balcony in the evenings.

Great location for ice fishing. Listing is accurate, spacious and clean. Will definitely book again and look forward to checking this home out for a summer trip. Host is very responsive, friendly and helpful!

This was the perfect location to stay for our fall golf trip to Arcadia Bluffs. A beautiful home less than 20 minutes to the course. Highly recommended.

The lake house was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of blankets and pillows. The lake was beautiful and the kayaks were really nice to have. Would definitely recommend.

This was an incredible experience. Brenden helped me out when I was in a panic about where to stay after a previous reservation had fallen through. Very easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. The property was beautiful and house was clean. Garage was spacious and rooms were perfect for guests we had. The only bummer was the rain all weekend to not enjoy the outdoors/lake but the company was good! Would highly recommend not only this property but Brenden as a host!

My husband and I loved this AirBnb. We watched the most beautiful sunset on kayaks and ate breakfast with lake Portage as our view. There was a really great nature trail within walking distance of the place too where you could take your dog for a walk.

This was our 2nd time staying at Chris’s place. It really IS perfect. We like to relax and spend time with family and friends in this space. The kitchen was stocked and we found it easy to Prepare meals. The appliances were up to date. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean.

We loved this home. Perfect for our sibling wkend. The home was very accommodating. We had everything we needed. Plenty of Living space. Loved the kitchen. The deck & all the furniture plentiful. A Firepit, khakis if you want to be on the water. Plenty of bedrooms, linens & beach towels. You won’t be sorry with your stay. The location is perfect between Traverse City to Suttons Bay the other direction. I would recommend a new coffee pot for the kitchen. It takes a long time to brew.

What a wonderful stay! We so enjoyed watching the ducks on the river in the snow. So clean & tidy.......we will be staying again for sure. :) Thank you!

Close to skiing, very comfortable and private.

We booked a last minute girls trip for St. Patrick’s day weekend and this was the perfect spot to stay! Absolutely gorgeous and right on the water. The check-in was super easy and the host was readily available if we needed anything. We hope to return for the summer months! Highly recommend staying here.

Most of our time was spent out in Downtown Traverse City, but the time we did spend at Mike's was very comfortable. It was clean and had good air quality. Thank you for your hospitality Mike!

We are repeat guests to Lakeside Lookout and truly love the convenience of this location. Mary and Sid were so helpful when our travel plans changed by a day and their response time was immediate. We enjoyed everything winter has to offer up north this weekend!

Cozy fire by the fireplace Friday evening. Extremely convenient location to the Highlands and Nubs. Hot tub in community center after day of skiing. Fun times, good meals, and drinks in downtown Petoskey. Coffee in the morning with deer meandering through woods behind the condo. Condo is a nice set up for a larger group with many nice renovations. Host Shannon was very organized and responsive.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! It was conveniently located. Rick was very responsive and had very clear instructions for us. It was also very clean and tidy!!! I would recommend this to others, and hope to be back sometime. Thank you Rick!!!

Comfortable condo with only a short drive to downtown Traverse City. Very nice location! Great communication from booking to checkout. We would definitely book again.
