This place was a true gem! We really enjoyed the sizeable kitchen, which made making meals easier. The convient location close to a grocery store and restaurants was also a plus!

Enjoyed 4 nights at Michelle’s at the beginning of our Tassie holiday. Location was fabulous as we could walk everywhere in the city. Close to Pigeon whole bakers 😉 and a Woollies just up the road. Unit was spacious and very clean. A great experience for us.

Comfortable and very clean accommodation with all necessary amenities. Pleasant walk to CBD. We struck a public holiday so less evening meal options nearby but restaurants around Salamanca were open. Michael was a very friendly and responsive host

Great location close to market, and MONA ferry. Easy to get to groceries upon arrival and walk to restaurants. Street parking was available when needed. Overall the place was comfortable and clean and provided exactly what we needed. Would stay there again

Great location, so close to everything

Our second stay here in two years, this time six nights. Simple but comfortable accommodation with easy access off street parking. Rowan and Fiona are very helpful hosts, and always quick to respond to messages. Another reviewer mentioned the TV, and suggested bringing a Google Chromecast device to plug into it for streaming services. We always carry ours with us when traveling, it is a great idea and was useful this trip. The apartment is in walking distance to some very good places to eat, and to the shops, beach, etc. and a short 15 minute walk into Salamanca Place. A note re the bathroom towels - they are luxurious to use, I wish we had the same ones at home! Recommended on the basis of our short stays. Thanks Rowan & Fiona.

Lovely place. All amenities. Fantastic location to restaurants and pubs. Only criticism would be the third bedroom was too small for luggage of two adults.

Loved this place. Perfect for our needs and exactly as described. So many amenities and lots of extras in cupboards from previous guests which is always very handy. Felt like home. Beds very comfortable.

Had a great 4-day stay! Early check-in & late luggage storage were a plus. One room crosses the bathroom, so we had to coordinate, but it was a fun experience. Complete amenities & responsive hosts. Thanks, Bernadette & Steven!

Very spacious accommodation with huge wardrobes in the bedrooms allowing us to put all our cases and contents away properly out of sight. We had everything we required and everywhere was clean, except I would suggest that Teresa checks that her cleaner is keeping on top of things, especially in the kitchen (dead flies on the windowsill and top of the facias (drawers) need a wipe down. Location was absolutely perfect in a lovely neighbourhood with easy access to shops and a lovely restaurant. Would definitely stay there again and recommend.

We really liked Janet’s place. It’s great for walking, being a few minutes walk from the Hobart Rivulet linear park, which you can take to the CBD or to look for platypuses in the evening (they’re there). Other parks and trails aren’t far away either. Right at home you’ve got a view of the Organ Pipes at kunanyi/Mount Wellington from the glass-walled living room and back deck. That’s one of the modern features that have been added to an older house; another is a big bathroom with a rain shower that you can turn on without getting cold water dumped on you, thank goodness. It’s on a quiet street and we never noticed any noise from traffic or neighbours. Lastly, Janet in the most responsive host we’ve ever had, whether on Airbnb or other platforms. She dealt thoroughly with a couple of topics in just minutes.

Peter and Trisha were excellent hosts providing us with all the information we needed for our stay. The unit is right in the heart of Salamanca close (no car needed) to restaurants, bars and cafes. The unit itself is very comfortable and welcoming and you have everything you need for a great stay.

Vi havde en dejlig overnatning i James’ hyggelige lejlighed. Vi havde spurgt om tidligere indtjekning, men det var desværre ikke muligt. Derfor var det en dejlig overraskelse, da James skrev til os om morgenen og fortalte at det alligevel godt kunne lade sig gøre. Hyggeligt med en lille hilsen og en flaske vin, da vi ankom til lejligheden. Meget praktisk med parkeringspladsen kun 10 m fra lejligheden. Stille og roligt område, og man kunne følge kysten til Hobart efter 15 min gang.

Second time I’ve stayed at Arthurton central and loved it. Beautifully luxurious in all inclusions and amenities. Well appointed kitchen and large, comfortable bedrooms. Easy walk to Salamanca and battery point. A wonderful property and very communicative and helpful host.

Our stay was exactly as we thought it would be - but better. The accommodation was fresh and clean and welcoming. The beds were the most comfortable we have very slept in! We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh fruit and breakfast supplies! The unit was so close to the amazing beach and local eateries yet we felt we were much further away as it was so quiet and peaceful. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone!

We had 4 nights at Fiona’s place , great spot to stay in Hobart within walking distance to Salamanca and central hobart , Fiona was very responsive to our needs , The tv wasn’t working when we arrived , Fiona had the Tv working by the next business day , Hobart penitentiary was an interesting tour , the Salamanca markets were amazing , Mona Posh pit experience was such fun too , Thanks Fiona 🌺

Our family really enjoyed our stay in Hobart. One of the major reasons was the place we stayed. First of all, the room was very clean and well decorated. Next, there were many available items and kitchenware. Also, there was a fireplace that came surprisingly handy when we got to roast marshmallows. The location is very close to many famous places in Hobart and the hosts were very friendly and recommended a local restaurant to us. The only problem was the steep and narrow driveway. But overall it was a very nice place to stay.
