Jolene and Chuck are so friendly and welcoming. They really go above and beyond and have thought of everything you need to feel comfortable. They are eager to offer a helping hand and extremely quick to respond which is much appreciated. Phil and I were a very new couple and have only dated for two months but after experiencing a beautiful night star gazing and listening to the sounds of nature we are now officially a couple! We will most definitely be back and recommend this air bnb to anyone that needs a truly special and unforgettable getaway ~Chanty & Phil

Beautiful little cottage on the peninsula beautiful lake, was nice and cosy to sit by the fire and unwind for the weekend Will definitely be returning at some point Thank you

cabin was nicely tucked away surrounded by nature. All the amenities were top notch and a joy to use. A very home-y vibe and nicely decorated. The photobook covering the construction of the home was a nice touch. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable. Wood stove kept us toasty and had no problems keeping the home warm. Everything about the stay gets 5 stars. Would stay again!

Our stay at the Birch cabin was super relaxing & comfortable. Jolene & Chuck are amazing hosts who ensured we had everything for our stay. They were kind & responsive. The cabin is spacious & well stocked with pots & pans and other essentials. We loved exploring the property, had a lovely time in the hot tub & star gazed on tge deck at night. Our 2 dogs had an amazing time as well. This beautiful property is truly a hidden gem & I would highly recommend it!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! It was the perfect family getaway. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, making it feel like a true home away from home. Our host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, always quick to respond and ensure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The location offered so much to do — from outdoor activities and so many games there was never a dull moment. Whether we were enjoying the ice rink or hot tub or simply enjoying the cozy space, there was always something to keep everyone entertained. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, fun-filled family retreat!

I have experienced a few airbnbs to date and must say that I have yet to experience anything unpleasant. That's because of the incredible integrity of hostesses like Charlotte, overseeing places like this sweet gem: true to its advertisement, and very well laid out instructions which kept us from having to inquire about anything. We came to create and we came to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. My husband and I are calling this our "Oasis-Escapis" and plan to bring more monumental celebrations and creative endeavours here. Our 2 night stay at Cedar cabin was wonderful. Its such a beautiful, peaceful location. The winding lake road as you drive in really feels like you are disconnecting from everything. Having access to paddle boards, canoes, kayaks and a row boat, makes it so easy to enjoy the gorgeous lake. Our cabin was on the water, we had a lovely view and a constant gentle breeze coming in off the lake. Definitely will be back!

This was our second time at Johns place, we had an amazing time. The place is always well kept and the water was amazing! John is very responsive and a great communicator, there if we needed something. Definitely recommend Johns place if you’re looking for a peaceful yet fun filled getaway! Thank you John!

My family of 4 spent a wonderful weekend at the cabin with our dogs. The cabin was perfect for a relaxing getaway- clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed some great walks through the woods. The views from the huge windows throughout the cabin are gorgeous. After lots of outdoor time during the day, we spent cozy evenings making dinner and enjoying a fire in the living room. We played some of the games Timothy has in the cabin too! Timothy was very responsive and a great host. We hope to go back one day!

Our stay was amazing! We went in the beginning of October and there was hardly anyone there. The environment was absolutely stunning, the fall rhapsody was in full effect. There also was a tone of stuff to do, like a dog park, hiking, canoeing, badminton, etc. the cabin itself was small but very cozy. Just remember to bring warm clothes and bedding if you go in the fall because there is just a small heater. We were very comfortable though. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

Great place to stay, the cabin is cozy and clean, we can still smell the pine wood that is the building material of the cabin. We came on the thanksgiving long weekend, this year it was very cold, fortunately we brought our winter jackets and sleeping bags. The host is very nice, you can ask for more comforts if you don’t have your own, otherwise it is too cold to sleep. We didn’t bring drinking water, but a general store is 3 minutes driving away. The fall scene was spectacular, the lake is peaceful, the host and her son were friendly and responsive. We may come again in summer when it is warmer.

Stayed here for a month over winter. Was a great escape from city life. Asha was super responsive and helpful - the oven wasn’t working properly upon arrival and she promptly arranged repair. There were games and activities on site, wifi connection was reliable, and the driveway was plowed after every snow.

Great area, beautiful lake. Chris' cottages themselves were clean newly renovated and in great working order. Laundry facilities in the cottages and access to sharbot lake. L9ved it will definitely be back

Great cabin with a beautiful lake view. Well stocked, quiet, peaceful, and amazing swimming in clean clear water. 100% recommend and definitely would visit again.

My Fiancé and I stayed there just at the tail end of winter, and we loved it. The Host offers everything you may need to make your stay more comfortable ( paper towels, cleaning supplies, cooking utensils, Cookware, Bedding). Just don’t forget to bring your own water. They also keep propane there for the bbq, it was nice not having to haul my own tank with me. There is heating, and air conditioning if you are staying in the warmer months, as well as a clean as can be outhouse. Honestly it’s just a perfect escape from city life without having to drive too far from the GTA. We saw lots of deer and other animals, we enjoyed pure silence by the fire, and it was a dark beautiful sky in the evening. We will be back, thanks for having us Jim.

My husband, baby, dog and I had a great stay! The cabin was very clean, and had everything you need. Comfortable bed, clean pool and trails near by. Celebrated Halloween on the weekend, all the kids were dressed up and they had trick or treating through the campsite. Everyone staff and other campers are all so friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Stella’s place is perfect for a weekend getaway from the city. The cabin is located among beautiful and peaceful surroundings, perfect for nature walks and stargazing. Though rustic, the cabin is well maintained and clean. We enjoyed our short stay here and would definitely consider coming back in the summer/early fall to enjoy the lake and apple orchards.

We chose Zainab’s cabin because we were looking for a private cabin in the woods to adventure with the dogs and it was perfect for a weekend cabin getaway in the woods. Very private and functional. Just what we wanted 😊 The host was super responsive and helpful they told us everything we needed to know before we even had the chance to think of a question to ask.

This place was even better than expected. It’s about the scenery and the east access to the beach which made it for me. We watched all kinds of wildlife right from the porch of the cabin. We loved this cabin because it had more privacy then the others. The pictures of the place represent it accurately besides it’s been painted. The only thing missing we could of used was a toaster. No big deal though because we had a bbq. Connie was very friendly and responded quickly if we needed anything. The staff at the lodge across the road were very friendly. We will be back forsure! Quiet cabin on a well managed Marina property. This place is quiet and well run and Steve and Laurel are the best hosts of all time. They took care of us daily. Beds a bit firm for our old backs lol and no air conditioning but well worth the price. Is a dream location for people towing a boat. The store has everything you need and the neighbors of the proterty were friendly and kind. Small fish off the dock and bigger ones farther out in the canoe and kayaks provided.

Very nice rustic cottage updated with modern conveniences. We had a relaxing and peaceful week, and my dog loved the lake. I especially liked the mounted moose and bear heads. ;-) Taina and Frank were fantastic hosts -- very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

My partner and I absolutely loved staying at David and Mimi’s cabin. It’s surrounded by beautiful nature with access to a canoe to explore the lake. The cabin have just what you need for a peaceful weekend getaway from the city. It has all the basic kitchen supplies, and we could easily make tacos, hamburgers and breakfasts. We also want to highlight the friendliness of David and Mimi. They were super welcoming and David drove our bags down to the canoe and even gave us some freshly picked tomatoes at our arrival. Mimi even came to meet us on day 2 when we had gotten a bit lost in the woods. We can’t recommend this place enough!
