Truly an amazing experience at Thomas’s house. It embodies the spirit of a typical, authentic and cozy norwegian hytte with everything you need, add to that the view over the fjords and the sauna in the backyard and you’ll feel like in a Hallmark movie during Christmas. We also saw the Northern Lights from the cabin 2 nights in a row. The communication with the hosts was very easy and efficient. I truly recommend it to anyone loving nature, peace and quiet :)

We (family of 5) stayed for 1 week in Mats great house. It’s easy to get to from the airport, just download svipper app and see which bus you need and pay your ticket in the app. The bus stop Storskogen is not far from the house. The house is big and comfy, the kitchen has everything you need, the beds are comfy and there are enough towels, shower gel, shampoo and toilet paper for the whole week. There is also a hair dryer and kitchen towels and enough tablets for the dish washer, etc. The best is the view from the balcony! We saw the Northern lights from there right on our first evening. Amazing! The couch and the dinner table are nice, big and a great hangout. We walked most days back and forth to the city. It’s a 20 minutes walk. Taking the bus is also easy. Streets do not completely get cleared of snow and ice. We were wearing snowboots, my mother walking boots with spikes. We loved our northern lights trip, langlaufen (both via airbnb) and dogsledding (Arctic Adventure Tours)

The best Airbnb we have ever been to! The view from the living room was just outstanding. Beautiful house, bright, modern, we felt instantly at home. The hosts Marius and Melinda were very helpful and friendly. Seeing the northern lights was luck, but booking this Airbnb was an even bigger one! Just one reminder: The road to the house is quite steep, so definitely bring robust foot wear in winter!

I cannot imagine a more perfect place to call "home" while visiting Tromso. If I could give the house 10 stars, I would. The house itself is beautiful and charming from the outside, and inside it is comfortable and inviting. Our family of 4 enjoyed fit perfectly and the house had everything we needed...comfortable beds, a huge kitchen, 2 full baths, a washer/dryer and nice sitting room. The house was spotlessly clean and well appointed. And it stayed toasty warm. The location is very convenient to the city center and it is a quick walk to wherever you need to go. Trygve was a fabulous communicator before and during our stay. We have stayed in many AirBnBs and we all agreed that this was by far our favorite. Thank you!

We had great time with no issues and everything was as advertised. The cabin was very comfortable and had some great views. It's also walking distance from a very cool floating sauna, which I recommend. The hosts were very responsive and helpful too!

Le propriétaire Roar très sympathique serviable et de bon conseils. Endroit idyllique à proximité de la mer calme et reposant. Maison très confortable bien équipée, seul point négatif si s'en est un il n'y a pas de lave vaisselle.

Hem estat genial a Tromsdaltinden, amb un entorn molt bonic, proximitat a la muntanya i amb molt bona connexió a Tromso i carreteres principals per moure's. Molt recomanable

Lorsque nous avons contacté Line il était 19h00, à 20h00 nous étions au chaud, une très bonne bière nous attendait et Line est restée joignable à tout moment pour de bons conseils ! La vue depuis la maison de Line est superbe, Fjord, montagnes. Vous pouvez acheter du poisson en direct de la pêcherie juste à côté. Il y'a une épicerie où l'ont trouve tout ce qu'il faut. A 200 m il y'a le restaurant Senja by heart. C'est très bon, le chef et les serveurs sont super sympathiques, ils font le maximum pour que vous passiez une bonne soirée. Un sauna avec une super vue vous attends pour un moment de détente toujours à Senja by heart ! Bref, vous l'aurez compris on a adoré notre séjour à Torsken chez Line !

We had a great two night stay at Bjorn’s place in Tromso! It was spacious with a super comfortable bed and great shower/bathroom. Appreciated being able to do laundry as well. Well stocked kitchen! You’re right on the water and we had two lucky nights that the northern lights were visible right from the backyard (we were here in March). We highly recommend this location for your trip! We did have a car but it’s probably a 10-15 minute walk into the central Tromso area (we opted not to just because there was a ton of snow lol)

Utrolig fint og koselig sted. Hyggelige og utrolig hjelpsomme verter. Svarte alltid raskt på meldinger og fant fram ting om vi manglet. Sendte en veldig fin og nyttig guide bok og stelte til og med stand en velkomstgave. Verdt alle pengene. Anbefaler sterkt denne leiligheten om man skal til Tromsø🤩

Très bel appartement, avec tout ce qu’il faut, au calme et proche de l’aéroport (ce que nous recherchions pour notre fin de séjour). L’arrêt de bus et le supermarché à côté sont très pratiques. La literie est très confortable. Hôte très prévenant et sympathique.

Roger's home is fabulous! The location is in a quiet neighborhood that is a very easy walk to the grocery store and a nice stroll to downtown. Our group of 3 couples spent our downtime around the large kitchen table enjoying the sea views and watching boats and ships cruise by. We appreciated Roger's recommendations for restaurants. We had dinner at Skarven Kro. It was wonderful. Despite the chilly weater we used both the jacuzzi and sauna.

We really enjoyed staying at Thomas house. The house was clean, spacious and the views were magnificent. The photos and description give a clear indication of to expect. Thomas gave clear instructions, directions before our arrival and was always contactable for any questions. The house is near a local bus stop which made getting in and out of town very easy. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Karsje’s place is just amazing in one word. The place is so cozy offering amazing views of Tromso. The space was perfect for 5 of us including our 5 year old son. The house had a well structured instruction manual so that we didn’t have to bother the host a lot, but still they were very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of utensils so that you could cook without any hassle. There is a car parking available and also the bus stop is just a 10 minutes walk from the house. Just keep in mind that the house in a quite neighbourhood a bit away from the city, so you will have to travel a bit to find restaurants and supermarkets ( 10 minutes with a car or 15-20 minutes with bus). We enjoyed the stay a lot and would recommend it to anyone who visits Tromso.

Das Haus ist wirklich toll und sieht genau wie auf den Fotos aus, die Lage ist mega und obwohl ich alleine eine Woche dort verbracht habe, kann man dort gut mit 2-4 Personen (für 5+6 gibt es dann nur noch Hochbetten und für 7+8 ein abgetrenntes Bett im großen Schlafzimmer) bleiben. Es ist ruhig, man hat einen schönen Ausblick aufs Wasser, alles funktioniert soweit (außer vieler kaputter Deckenleuchten) und man kann von dort aus viele Unternehmungen starten (z.B. Hundeschlittenfahren nur 10min entfernt und nach Tromsø sind es auch nur 20min). Leider wurde die Zufahrt nicht regelmäßig geräumt, trotz täglichen Schneefalls lediglich zweimal auf Nachfrage. Selbst mit einem Allrad-SUV benötigt es also etwas Erfahrung, um den Berg wieder raufzukommen. Zudem sind ein Großteil der Töpfe in der Küche nicht für den Induktionsherd geeignet, was das Kochen stark einschränkt. Wenn man dies weiß, kann man besser planen :)

Our stay with Odd-Geir was truly fantastic! The house was cozy and made us feel like we were right in the heart of the Arctic. We enjoyed the grill house and the sauna—both added a special touch to our experience. Odd-Geir lent us his car during our stay, which was incredibly helpful. One of the highlights was going fishing with him on his boat—an unforgettable adventure! He’s a genuine host who absolutely enhanced our experience in Tromvik. Highly recommended!

Logement très agréable d’une propreté irréprochable. Tout est pensé pour qu’on se sente comme chez soi. Très bien équipé notamment côté cuisine . Nous avons grandement apprécié les soirées devant le feu de cheminée ( grâce à Ketil qui nous a fourni régulièrement du bois) . Aurores boréales au dessus de la maison plusieurs soirs pendant le séjour, magique ! Enfin, que dire de la gentillesse et de la disponibilité de Ketil qui nous a donné de précieuses informations sur les choses à faire ( fjords, randonnées, bars, restaurants…) et sans qui nos vacances n’auraient pas été aussi réussies ! Encore merci Ketil, nous espérons pouvoir revenir un jour !

This house was absolutely amazing in every way. Very clean and extremely comfortable. We felt like home from the first minute. Ingvar is such a friendly host and communication with him was easy. You can feel that he normally lives there, the place is so cosy. We also loved the hot tub! Since it is outside of the city the sky is really dark and we could see the northern lights from our porch on three days in a row! The kitchen is perfectly well equippec and we cooked most of our meals there. We would definitively return to Ingvars house.

Terrific base in Tromso. It's in a quiet neighborhood, which I personally prefer much more than living in the city center. The house is quite large and very well furnished, and feels very homey and warm. Loved the open plan kitchen and living room where we could prepare meals, relax, and keep an eye out from the balcony windows for signs of an aurora borealis. Hope to have a chance to come back in the future :)

Nous avons passé 3 merveilleux jours dans le logement d'Anders : la paisibilité, la localisation et le hot tub chauffé au bois rendent ce lieu incroyable !

Nice cozy unit located close to the Arctic Ocean. Clean and well equipped but wifi can be stronger. Amazing view from the living room and service yard. 15mins from nearest supermarket by foot and 30-45mins bus ride from main Tromso city centre. Did not manage to spot the auroras from the house but was still worth it 👍🏼

Tore Gjert hat ein wunderschönes Haus mit einer spektakulären Aussicht auf das Meer. Es ist sehr persönlich und gemütlich eingerichtet und man findet alles was man braucht. Man sollte allerdings nichts im Supermarkt vergessen haben, denn der Weg dorthin ist zwar schön, aber weit. Das Café ein wenig die Straße weiter ist sehr zu empfehlen. Tore Gjert ist ein toller und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, mit dem wir einen guten Kontakt hatten.
