Was the 10-hour round trip worth it? Absolutely, without a doubt! Even though the weather wasn't ideal, it only added to the charm of this beautiful cabin—honestly, we felt like we were in a cozy winter wonderland. I can't think of a single negative moment from our stay. Even our cats would agree. Alison and James have truly created something special here, and their attention to detail made this one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had. Not to mention all the incredible visits we got from the local wildlife. Communication with Alison was seamless, which truly helped ease our nerves about visiting a new place while navigating through challenging weather conditions. We’re already looking forward to coming back and experiencing the treehouse in all its glory (hopefully without the freezing rain next time!). Thank you, Alison and James, for making our stay unforgettable!

We were truly stunned by this beautiful place soon as we arrived.! All the amenities, views and touches that this house has to offer has made an unforgettable impression on us. Sacha was very generous and thoughtful to leave us a gift and it was a pleasant surprise. Overall, a nice getaway from the city and the sauna was an added treat, as well! A great place to spend a few quiet days with your family. You won't regret it!

Difficile d’ajouter quelque chose qui n’ait déjà été dit sur cet endroit de rêve. Tout est absolument parfait, idéal, enchanteur : Julia et Will sont les hôtes idéaux, leur domaine un paradis presque irréel, la cabane digne des plus luxueux endroits et sourcé localement (tout le matériel est d’une qualité superbe, du nacre des couteaux au matelas au plaid !). Les repas (petit déjeuner inclus, dîner sur demande) sont eux aussi dignes des plus fins restaurants. Julia et Will respectent et célèbrent leurs hôtes comme rarement (jamais ?) vu.

We enjoyed an extra-long weekend stay in this well designed, spacious home. Bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, and the kitchen/living/dining space is fantastic, with amazing light and views. The home is very well equipped and exceptionally furnished/decorated. We didn’t want to leave!

An excellent little A-frame! A great place to get away and relax. Everything was clean, and the hottub, fireplace, and stove all ready and easy to use. Boardgames and movie projector offer fun indoor activities. The property also has enough room for short walks in the forest. It looks like they are in the process of adding additional cabins close to cabins #3 and #4.

We had a lovely girls' trip at this beautiful cottage! The space was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals together. The views were absolutely wonderful, and we loved taking in the scenery throughout our stay. The nearby hiking trails were a great bonus—perfect for getting outside and exploring the area. My dog also had a wonderful time! It was the perfect retreat, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We came to ski for 3 days at Calabogie during March break. The location and view were ideal--a minute to the ski hill (that you can see through the trees out the main window) and parking was free and easy at the hill. This allowed us to come back to have lunch at the chalet and then return to the slopes in the afternoon. The chalet has several high end features--heated floors in kitchen and bathroom, and an induction stove and fancy microwave. it was nicer than we expected. We struggled a bit to figure out how everything worked (probably us, though--we have low tech stuff at home). The designer fridge and countertops and overall aesthetics of the kitchen are beautiful. The chairs were maybe a bit big and awkward to move around for the tight space they were in--was hard to get around them. That was a minor inconvenience, though--overall the space was a delight to be in.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Domaine Labrador. Nous sommes une famille avec deux jeunes enfants et un petit chien. Le site nous a permis de décrocher de la routine, de se relaxer et de profiter d'un grand site très sécuritaire avec les enfants pour s'amuser dans la neige. Hélène nous a répondu rapidement à nos questions, nous a donnés des détails pertinents pour le séjour et a été très accueillante à notre arrivé. Le chalet était magnifique et très propre. Je recommende fortement cet endroit.

J’étais avec mon garçon de 3 ans et notre chien et nous avons simplement adoré. Nous y retournerons! En fin de saison (fin septembre) les lieux sont extrêmement tranquilles et on peut profiter de toutes les installations. C’est merveilleux. Je recommande fortement! Pierre qui s’est occupé de nous a été formidable; il nous a accommodés, était plein de belles attentions et nous a fait nous sentir 100% en sécurité. Relaxation assurée!

Perfect Lakeside Getaway – Highly Recommended! Our stay at Alex and Tiffany’s beautiful lakeside house near Maniwaki was absolutely incredible. The home is brand new, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it a perfect retreat. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even leaving a lovely welcome gift for our stay, which we truly appreciated. One of the best parts about this place is how close it is to everything in the city while still feeling peaceful and secluded by the lake. The views are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. Alex and Tiffany were incredibly thoughtful, even setting up games for our younger ones, which made our stay even more enjoyable. While we visited outside of summer, I can only imagine how amazing it would be in the warmer months, with the lake right there for swimming and outdoor activities. If you’re passing through Maniwaki, I highly recommend staying here—you won’t regret it!

Guy's place was great! I'll be back. There are two other places to rent on the property, and I would say that the location of this building is the least ideal because it doesn't have a direct view overlooking the lake. This would be a big downside if you spent your time sitting inside or on the porch, we did not so it was perfect for us. One other thing is that the I found the shower tight for an adult, but if you need to wash, it'll get the job done. I spent most of my time by or on the water. Take advantage of the available water crafts that are available! I was fishing most of the time and there's a lot of fish to catch. Super comfortable and cozy cabin. Lots of room in the kitchen to get your chef on. As for the property, there's a slightly steep hill between the buildings and the water. Be careful with children or when it's damp. There IS a staircase to help you out. There's quite a bit of cottages around the lake and it could get loud. Quite a bit of motor and pontoon boats

Beautiful spot to stay! We had a great time staying in the comfort and clean space, and loved the scenery. Francis had great communication and the Kayaks on the lake were super nice to take out as well. Very pleased with our stay!

An unforgettable stay once again! This was our second time at this stunning property, and it somehow managed to exceed our expectations all over again! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The space is impeccably clean, beautifully styled, and offers total privacy! The perfect escape. We were warmly welcomed with a gorgeous charcuterie spread from the host, which was such a thoughtful and much-appreciated treat after our long drive. Every detail of this stay was perfection, and we truly can’t wait for our next visit. Highly, highly recommend!

On a adoré notre petite escapade dans la yourte Belvédère! Endroit parfait et unique pour décrocher! J’ai amené ma précieuse amie pour souligner ses 60 ans. Tout a été parfait…et nos 2 pitous en ont autant profité que nous! Beau sentier boisé partant de la yourte. On a adoré également le patio avec sa superbe vue…endroit parfait pour l’apéro! Et que dire de notre vue sur les étoiles pour s’endormir…il faut l’essayer! Merci !!!

My 3-night stay at Chalet EDDA during March break was wonderful. The chalet is brand new and thoughtfully designed. It has a lot of windows so you feel surrounded by the woods and the in-floor heating really made it feel like a cozy winter cocoon. We particularly loved making a fire in the outdoor fire pit at dusk during our snowy winter stay and watching the night stars appear. Kitchen was very well stocked, moreso than many airbnbs I've stayed at in the past. Access to washer and dryer with provided detergent was great so we weren't afraid of getting dirty on our many outdoor activities in the area. It is very well situated near Tremblant Village and many activities around a 20-minute drive away. Host gave clear instructions and responded promptly. Would love to stay again in the future!

Notre séjour a été une expérience agréable. Le chalet est très accueillant, spacieux et parfaitement équipé, répondant à toutes nos attentes. De plus, l’emplacement en hauteur offre une vue splendide, ce qui a ajouté une touche de magie à notre séjour. Notre hôte était également très réactif et accueillant. Parfait petit chalet pour un couple ou petite famille! J’ai toujours aimé les chalets en bois rond rustiques et vintage donc là, j’étais bien servie ! J’ai aimé qu’Andrew fasse des suivis pour s’assurer que tout va bien. Le seul truc, c’est qu’il pourrait y avoir un matelas plus confortable et mou, car nous l’avons trouvé trop dur pour nous. À part ça, je recommande à 100% ! Merci Andrew et au plaisir !

This place was perfect for a relaxing getaway, especially for coffee nerds (the coffee bar is such a highlight)! The views were great, and the hot tub was a dream. The host was also fantastic - so gracious, responsive, and genuinely great vibes. A tiny external issue was handled incredibly well. Highly recommend for a chill trip!

Very nice rustic cottage updated with modern conveniences. We had a relaxing and peaceful week, and my dog loved the lake. I especially liked the mounted moose and bear heads. ;-) Taina and Frank were fantastic hosts -- very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
