Cedar Key is still recovering from last fall’s hurricane but enough restaurants and shops were open for us to enjoy the area. The condo was clean and quiet. We loved hanging out on the balcony for cocktails. The furniture was pretty comfortable too! It was our first time in Cedar Key. I loved the low-key vibe. We’ll be back!

I gave the place all 5's because it deserves it. However, people should know this is NOT on a beachfront and the "beach" is only a gulf shoreline 100 steps away. For those of us who love strolling along a commercial way located on a shore, this is perfect. And, to be honest. I was not looking for a beach, so I did cannot tell you how far it is to a beach. However, there is a little park right across the street for kids to play on and everything except a grocery store is within walking distance. If you like Key West but hate the crowds, Cedar Key is Perfect. We loved it and the space even had a lounger AND a comfy couch. YAY. Locals were all eager to talk to us and tell us about a Tiki Bar, and a boardwalk nature area adjacent to an OLD cemetery. Wife and I are retired and we LOVED it. So...Beachfront? well....no. Great place to visit and take life slower without battling traffic? YES

Katie was great to work with. The unit was perfect for our needs. Something we missed about the unit was it being 3 floors with stairs to climb between floors. If it was listed, we missed reading it. I have bad knees so it wasn't easy for me to climb upstairs to the kitchen on 3rd floor from the 1st floor master bedroom. Overall, the place was great. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb in Cedar Key. Everything was nice, clean, and featured modern renovations. The views from upper and lower decks were absolutely stunning; as an end unit, the main bedroom overlooked the water, making us feel like we were on a cruise ship. The location was perfect, with downtown restaurants just a short walk away. We had a blast exploring the nearby waters on our standup paddle boards with small beach access right beside the unit. The condo was well-stocked with everything we needed, making our stay even more comfortable. The hosts were extremely kind, and their communications were very helpful, especially their recommendations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner nearby. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience with this property. Condo is very well appointed and squeaky clean. Grounds are beautiful and versatile with a nearly new fishing pier and garage area for storage. Location is perfect for Cedar Key. Very easy to deal with and stellar communication from property manager, Katie! Everything was very accurately described and represented. Book IT!

Highly Recommend! Found this gem last minute for a spontaneous weekend get away with hubby. Amazing views!! The place was just adorable and we felt so comfortable right from the greeting by Sonya; She was delightful. Dace was on top of everything, and patient with me being somewhat new to AirBnB. I have to admit, the elevator did make me feel ritzy for a weekend too, loved that! I know hotels have them but it’s different in a house & going up 4 floors! Oh, and no need to stop at the Welcome Center before check in. Sonya & Dace have everything you need in a binder right there on the table! Super helpful & saved us a stop. lol We will 100% stay here again!

Couple in our 50’s, & 8 yo grandson. Place was as described, 3 story condo. The great! Quiet private within walking or golf cart (rent from Cedar Key Adventures Dock St. recommended by hosts) skip the sketch guy outside condo area. There is a nice playground on way to Dock St action. Saw many porpoises and birds from the balconies. Clean bathroom. VERY nice remodeled kitchen Spices, Mr. Coffee, Keurig, mixer, new appliances all in a bright kitchen open to vaulted living on top floor. Main bedroom on top floor with decent king. Hear the waves! Need to know: The stairs are kinda steep, my husband’s knees were sad. Glad we did not bring our old corgi dog. The first night we went to Dock street area, was a fest going on. You needed to have a prepaid badge to get in most restaurants. Should have done our homework. Iffy internet/TV. Five stars for price and laid back Cedar Key. 4.5 in other more polished area of FL. Just have reasonable expectations and enjoy the breeze! Would return!

We loved the over the ocean place! The 2 balconies made me fall in love with this spot! Everything was so beautiful! Everything is within walking distance. They've done a beautiful job recovering from the hurricane. We kayaked the ocean for 2 days and there's even a spot to keep the kayaks down by the carport. When I come back to Cedar Key I'll definitely stay here again.

Beautiful & quiet location right along the river with tons of paddle boards, kayaks & all the amenities you could ask for. Truly blessed to have found this gem.

Cedar Key is back in Business. Restaurants and shops are open, boat ramps are clear and ready to go. We had some great meals, 2nd Street Cafe, Steamers, Cedar Key Pizza and the Island Hotel (Annies and the Tiki Bar are also ready and waiting). We got some fun Christmas shopping done. The Locals are welcoming as always. Julie and Tom are Super Hosts, we love their place, this was our fourth stay and we'll be booking a fifth. Such a warm and charming Island. Hope you love it as much as we do !!

We had such a marvelous time at camp collop. What. Magical place. Everything was so very well maintained and well stocked house with All the amenities you would need to enjoy your time on the water. The access to the river was perfect. The kids enjoyed the rope swing and we enjoyed the convenience of paddling and being able to come back to the home easily without having to go to the parks or stand in lines etc. the town of dunnellon had so many amenities so close to the house...dinner each night was less than 10min from the house. Everyone in my family said this was one of the best vacations they had gone on ...the peacefulness of this home and location transmitted a beautiful sense of magic. We all want to come back soon. This was worth it...you won't go wrong staying here and enjoying all the amenities this place has.

The house was beautifully set up, with a big sunroom with view over the back lawn to the Withlacoochee River, as well as a separate cozy living room with fireplace, games and comfy furniture. The beds were super comfortable. The house was outfitted with lots of everything - towels, blankets, etc. Also great hot tub. We just loved staying here.

Everything was as it stated in the listing. Enjoyed the stay, would have stayed longer but was already booked. Jacqui was easy to get in touch with and very detailed in her responses.

Myself and several friends stayed at Jacquie’s house for a week and we loved it! The house was very clean and comfortable. It was close to many of the local springs and a great location if you enjoy kayaking. The neighborhood was quiet and private. I highly recommend renting her house!

Beautiful condo with gorgeous views. Even saw some dolphins from the balcony, as well as beautiful sunrises. Very comfortable stay for our first time at Cedar Key. 4 set of stairs to get to this top floor condo, but the views are worth it. Easy parking. Nice owners and easy to communicate with. Would stay here again when we visit Cedar Key. Nice that there’s a pool for all the condos. Easy to walk around the town from the condo , to restaurants, stores, small beaches. Just a wonderful place all around. Really is a little bit of heaven. How to come back.

This condo was perfect for our 4 week stay in Cedar Key. The island is quiet and relaxing. Be prepared to drive a distance for groceries. The small market on the island was destroyed by the hurricane.

This is a very nice apartment with spectacular views. We found it clean and well decorated . It is one of the few places on Florida’s gulf coast where you can watch the sunrise over the gulf. We had an issue with one of the rules but it was quickly resolved. Also there were a few unfortunate plumbing issues but again the management company was quick to resolve them. The hot tub was not functioning during most of our stay but I believe it is now repaired. The Cedar Key Market is finally reopened so you no longer need to drive to Chiefland to get a loaf of bread. Be aware that there are 40 steps to the apartment. The price of that wonderful view, but it may be an issue if you have mobility issues.

Other than the damage that is still visible in Cedar Key you would never know by the attitude and friendliness of the people. Ken and Marylee’s place was so comfortable and beautiful. They had everything we needed including Kayaks for a fun trip around the Key. We could walk everywhere: shops restaurants, museums bars, etc. We were there in February so bugs weren’t a problem. We will definitely be back!

Lori is a great host and we loved her condo! We had a minor issue when we checked in and Lori resolved it quickly and efficiently. Cedar Key is still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Helene but it is a charming small town in a beautiful area with good restaurants and shops and we loved the seafood. I should add that the condo did not suffer any damage from Helene and it was a great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable with a great king size bed in the main bedroom. We certainly hope to return!!
