Carol & Allan 's Place was amazing!! We loved the house, it had everything we needed and more! The area was beautiful and peaceful. We drove all over and saw the most incredible scenery! We met Carol & Allan on our last night, and they are so lovely!! You cannot ask for a better place to stay!! Rodney

Fantastic location and home ideal for us. Plenty space and lots of games, books, dvds and everything you could ever imagine needing for the kitchen. Heart of the home ❤️(as in Scotlands Home of theYear)the kitchen table or the red tartan chair in the living room . Would definitely stay again 😊

Worth every penny! I felt so blessed I came across this house. It was so much more than I imagined. The location was so beautiful & we got sunset every evening. The waters were crystal clear and the surrounding just felt so peaceful. The bathroom was huge, bedroom comfortable. We stayed upstairs quite a lot because the couch was really so homey and the view from the-top was fantastic. The kitchen had everything you needed so we took advantage of it and cooked at home quite abit. I loved it here and felt right at home.

A beautiful house that was a brilliant base for us as we did lots of sight seeing and walking/hiking. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Extra blankets for those colder nights. Easy parking for our two cars. The view from the living room was absolutely stunning and the stars on the less cloudy nights were spectacular. Definitely a great place to stay in Skye.

We loved staying here. Everything was perfect including even the very nice kitchen equipped with well-outfitted pots and pans. The sound system added a nice touch to the TV and the converters that were in the game closet for UK to Euro adapters for the plugs was thoughtful and an absolute life-saver for my work computer. The view was the most peaceful I have ever seen and waking up to it every day was pure joy. Definitely hope to be back soon!

Cabina davvero stupenda con una vista spettacolare! Lauren poi è un host fantastica, ci ha accolto molto calorosamente e ci ha dato tantissimi consigli, nonchè lasciato le uova fresche della sua gallina (adorabile, ogni mattina passava fuori la cabina a darci il buongiorno :). La cabina era caldissima al nostro arrivo, molto gradito in questo freddo periodo di novembre! Il posto è magnifico, perfetto per chi cerca un piccolo angolo di paradiso, lontano dalle luci artificiali della città, e in cui avere modo di ammirare benissimo le stelle e la natura, immersi nel silenzio. Puoi avvistare tanti animali selvatici (noi abbiamo avuto la fortuna non solo di vedere tante specie di uccelli, ma anche una lontra pescare e poi venire a farsi una passeggiata a riva non molto distante da noi!). La cabina è davvero adorabile, super confortevole, pulitissima, dotata di una doccia grande e un letto comodissimo. Un atmosfera bellissima all'interno e un alloggio attrezzato di tutto l'indispensabile

Siamo molto felici di aver scelto lo chalet di Sally e Adam per il nostro soggiorno sull’isola di Skye. L’alloggio è immerso nella natura, infonde pace e serenità, ottimo posto per riposare la mente👌🏻 la casetta è dotata di tutti i comfort necessari, la vista è spettacolare ad ogni ora del giorno. Sally ed Adam sono persone molto disponibili e gentili. Un ringraziamento particolare ad Adam che ci ha aiutato a risolvere un problema con lo pneumatico della nostra auto. Super consigliato!!! We had a wonderful stay at Amy’s place. The property is beautiful and we felt right at home. It was nice to use the kitchen to cook a meal and stay in for a night. The views are beautiful. We definitely plan to be back.

We really enjoyed our stay, what a beautiful location! One thing we really appreciated was the large selection of dvds on one rainy evening.

A truly beautiful and peaceful place amongst the pines. The cabin felt luxurious but totally conscious of its surroundings and impact. Love the ethos of Turadh, helping to rejuvenate others whilst reviving yourself! Communication with the owners was great, checking that everything was fine and we had everything we needed. It was snowing in the mountains but didn't feel cold at all in the cabin - excellent insulation and wood burner ! The weather gods smiled on us but it's the sort of place it doesn't matter if they don't. Lots of walks, both close to the cabin and in and around the soaring peaks - a landscape photographer's dream (the light!). If you want go out and about be aware that early March some cafes / galleries etc are closed and even the open ones tend to be shut Mon / Tue. On the plus side the midgies aren't operating either. All-in-all a great experience with wonderful hosts - would love to visit again.

Lovely modern house. Spacious, very clean, excellent facilities, not too far from Stornoway but nice to be outside the town centre. Excellent communication from the hosts, always very fast to respond.

This place was fantastic! beautiful and peaceful and a truly unique experience. Elsie was so helpful, proactive and welcoming.
