This was one of the best airbnb's we ever stayed in. The home was so cozy and inviting. Everything was spotless and it had a ton of amenities. We will definitely reserve it again if we get back to the area.

One word: sanctuary! I was in town for a funeral and needed a quiet place to find peace and I found it! It was the haven I needed to deal with my grief and also have a wonderful time playing with my kiddo! The neighbors had a free-roaming dog which bothered my 8yr-old as he’s terrified of dogs but they were kind enough to keep the dog instead until we left. We didn’t have a chance to use the kayak but I loved having the option. The house is so warm and cozy. They really did a wonderful job with the renovation and decorating. I will definitely be staying here again!

Our family with our two dogs had a very relaxing week at the house. We enjoyed being on the water with the dock. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Fenced in large back yard was great for the dogs. House was also great. Very spacious and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Neighbors were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend staying at the house!

The house was large, immaculate and had a great view. Christina had set up a christmas tree, and had lights around the fireplace. The house felt warm and welcoming upon our arrival. Unfortunately, while we were there the area had unusually cold weather. We weren't able to sit outside or in the screen porch but the view from the house is amazing. I do wish the gas fireplace was working. The showers could have been larger, but overall our five week stay was wonderful. Thank you Christina!

Clean, comfortable, cozy! The perfect place to kick back and settle in while visiting family. Location was perfect for our needs. Check in/out made simple. This is our 2nd time staying here and we love this house! There is plenty of parking and you feel right at home! It is quiet and peaceful and clean! The hosts are great and super helpful! We enjoy it every time!! Highly recommend!

Almost hate to share how ah-mazing this place was because i want to keep it to myself! Definitely return again since it offers a nice quiet place on a quiet road. no loud neighbors or busy traffic noise. backyard is peaceful to watch the birds either on back porch or fire pit area. beds were comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and solid pillows. place was not overly decorated and offered a TV in each room. they offer full pot of coffee or the cups along with cooking pans and utensils. checkout process was easy with only gathering used linens and turning off lights.

This was an incredible stay. I'm humbled by the kindness of the hosts, the house was beautiful, and I would definitely recommend it to all of my friends and family. genuine and caring people and that's hard to find these days.

Carolyn was warm and friendly. I was displaced from my home because of Hurricane Helene, Carolyn and the surrounding community in the neighborhood made me feel welcomed and like I belonged.

Jeff and Elizabeth are great hosts! They made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked through the door. They made fresh bread and had it waiting for us, along with an invite to a community event. Elizabeth and Jeff are lovely people and made us feel right at home. My teenage son told me to definitely book with them again next time I’m in town.

My bad I did not read the entire description where at the end it states Owners live above 🤦‍♂️ What we got for $327: 1. No paper towels 2. No gas for bbq - so our dinners with stakes ended up cooking on the stove 3. No privacy at all. There was a lady their guest who stare at us from balcony all the time we were swimming. Why? 🤷‍♂️ 4. Ruth just figured that she left something on one of the bed. Left what? She does not know. Ended up she was checking every room and corner 3 hours after our check in. Why? 5. We could not just sit and enjoy the lake cuz we had to look how Mike with 2 kids clean up the boat and get it ready. Why do I need this? 6. For sure we went to sleep super late like after 3am but because of the noise we woke up together with owners at 8am when they started making a breakfast. You can actually hear EVERYTHING and EVERY STEP. They were turning on a blender 3 times for instance. So no sleep 🤦‍♂️ 7. Before we took off Mike was walking in front of us with a construction guy. WHY

Our stay at this Airbnb was perfect! Victoria was friendly, and communicated easily. We love the small details that she included to make our stay super homey and welcoming. The s’more’s basket and fish food was so cute and we loved doing that as a bonding activity.

It was very comfortable and homey. Quick drive to Columbia, very peaceful to come back to and relax after exploring. Beautiful view of Lake Murray with plenty to do and stores very close by. The hosts were very accommodating. They had refreshments, snacks, and basic necessities needed. Would highly recommend and would stay at again. ….thank you very much!!!!!!!

The pricing was comparable to hotels in the area and being close to the grocery store was helpful to pick-up a few items. I would stay here again if I come back to the Gaston area.

We were in Chapin visiting family (my husband, me and our adult son) so we didn't spend much time at the cabin. We did love our two mornings and evenings at the cabin. The setting is peaceful and we loved sitting on the front porch and enjoying the views. The music system was a real treat, too. We wished we'd had more time to use the kayaks but, in any case, we view these as a big plus. The cabin has great character and has been renovated beautifully. We felt very fortunate to find this special place. We were not able to meet Tom and Laura but they provided clear instructions and we had everything we needed. The place may have been a bit tight if our adult daughter had joined us but we would have found a way to make it work. Highly recommend.

She was the best host! So sweet and friendly! Grandpa’s cabin was so serene and peaceful, it’s a hidden gem. Sitting on the porch, watching the lake, while drinking a hot cup of coffee with the rain pouring down was heaven. We will be back!

Absolute gem. Accommodations were even better then the photos. My kids really enjoyed the little beach area out front and the sunsets were to die for. Nice large living room and plenty of space to cook meals with everything stocked one might need. Would love to stay again next time I am in town!

Mandy, Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in your home. It was beautiful. Having the blow dryer available really was the cherry on top, because I forgot mine. From the beautiful linens to the wicker rocking chairs on the porch to the chickens.... it was amazing! We will definately be coming back❤️

Very cute house, very small but was good for what we needed it for. We were only there for a bass tournament so the boat dock was most appealing to us. Hosts were very nice and helpful!

Great stay. Clean, well kept, pretty views, and by far the best stocked kitchen (pots/pans/etc.) of any place I’ve ever stayed in. Hoping to be back soon! Side note: host communication here is great!

In the area to visit the Congaree National Park as well as other nature areas. This property fit our needs very well as it is central to what we wanted to see and a short drive into town for groceries and restaurants. Property is vast and there are places to hang out outdoors just to socialize or read a book. If we find ourselves in the area again we will book again for sure. Check out JK Adventures for a nice low key kayak trip through parts of the Congaree area.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. It was so clean and cozy and peaceful. No other homes in the area offer that cabin feel which is exactly what my family loves. I was so impressed with how nice it was and that it is pet friendly! We loved having our pup there. The neighbors are friendly, the yard is beautiful, the fishing is great, the boat was wonderful, and Stevie and Chris were amazing hosts. We went to fisherman’s Warf for dinner one night and it’s so close and the fun lake atmosphere we wanted for dinner that night. We absolutely have nothing but beautiful memories here.
