I really enjoyed my stay at the house, it was in a perfect location for me, super easy to find, and simple easy check in and check out, Mateos's was always available if needed and always very responsive to any messages or communication we had during my stay, he was a great host and I would highly recommend staying here and I would certainly stay again if I'm back in the area and the home is available, especially in the summer with the home having a pool, it is winter now and the home was great it would be over the top with the pool in the summer, a great place to stay!

Beautiful clean home, beautiful yard and pool. Very spacious, fit our family of 6 very well, plenty of room. This is our 4th time renting from Colleen. Twice here and twice at the lake house. We will definitely rent from her again. She has beautiful homes. Thank you Colleen!

Anastasia’s home was beautiful and the perfect place to call home while we were in Sarnia! Close to parks, trails, the beach. Wonderful home and backyard oasis!

This was our third time staying here and we continue to love it. The whole family looks forward to this every year. There is lots of room for cooking and enjoying meals, separate spaces for games, the wonderful pool for tons of fun, and bedrooms nicely placed separately for peace and quiet. It's the perfect space for our large gathering to come together without tripping over each other.

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful vacation at Sandy's cottage. The surroundings are gorgeous, the stairway down to the lake is very easy to get to, and there were even some playful squirrels to watch from the front windows. Everything was clean and tidy, the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry areas were all well stocked. The water was delightfully hot, the central heat kept us extremely comfortable. This really is a gem of a place! Sandy was a very responsive, friendly host. We had no issues with check in or check out--everything was lovely. We had 11 women clergy and every bit of this home and the special guest house and game house were spectacular. We lacked nothing. The Lake Huron view was spectacular, even in the cold and misty rain turning to snow. The indoor pool/spa was every bit as good as the photos and the temperature was perfect. Not one person complained about the beds and instead commented on how comfortable they were. The only negative we had was check-out was at 11 AM when we would have preferred to stay another day or two or three or more. Thank YOU Ellen.

Loved our time there in January! The house is a perfect gathering spot for family- fantastic kitchen outfitted with everything. Well suited for small children (with crib, single bed in roomy master) yet elegant enough for discerning adults. The activity filled basement is great for kids, teens and adults. Very nice house, lots of space to spread out. Hosts are extremely responsive, even coming out on a Saturday night to help with an issue (which was on us, not them). Highly recommend!

Linda and Robert's Acorn Lodge was both expansive and airy and super cozy and warm. There were so many meaningful and interesting details but my family and I spent most of our time gathered in the fireplace in front of the beautiful windows. Our group ranged in ages from 2 months to 70 years and everyone had a wonderful time. The older kids loved the pool table, piano and privacy of the basement bedrooms and the adults loved the hospitality of the large gathering rooms in the living room and kitchen. And the 3-year old is still talking about his hike to the treehouse! There is a Kroger less than 15 minutes away so we did our shopping there and made great family style meals for 10. A few us also traveled to Mt. Holly for skiing, about 30 minutes away. A very special place - would love to return.

we needed a place that offered walking distance to the big mall and other nearby shops. location was great, with a cozy living room and well-equipped bathroom. plenty of space to stretch out for the four of us: a married couple with two adult kids.

Perfect little house. Great park located across the street. We enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. We had a great stay! As a book lover, I just adored the whole place. So many great books, and I also loved her decor. Absolutely recommend!

Louise is a great host! Very friendly and great communication. We had a minor issue with the fireplace and Louise called me to troubleshoot and then sent someone the next morning and had the issue fixed. The place is gorgeous, lots of "areas" to hang out and enjoy. Beds were SUPER comfy and the linens were crisp and clean. The place was super clean!! 15 minute walk to the lake which was nice. I would highly recommend staying here, especially with a group!

Our stay was wonderful! The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the location couldn’t have been better for the Silver Stick hockey tournament in Sarnia. A special shoutout to Noeleen, who was so helpful and responded quickly to our emails with any questions we had. Her attentiveness made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area!
