Rachel‘s adventure cottage was the best place for a Valentines getaway! It was peaceful, it was private, and had great hiking opportunities. The hot tub at the end of the day was definitely the cherry on top. One thing to be wary of is coming during the rainy season. We came during late winter so as the snow was melting it was also raining which flooded the incoming roads. Regardless of the little hiccup on our trip, we brought enough groceries so we made the most of it!

We had an amazing time at Heather and Scott’s cottage for my sister’s bachelorette weekend! It was the perfect little getaway with everything we needed and more. The cottage was charming and cozy, and the location was ideal with plenty of fun local activities to explore. Heather and Scott were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. We loved every moment and would definitely return! Highly recommend!

Our group loved this stay in Wintergreen! Extremely accessible to the slopes, with multiple amenities included within our airbnb. Plenty of room for everyone, and plenty of supplies from top to bottom - if you forgot something, chances are the house has it! However, we found that the hot tub was not clean prior to our stay, and the bathroom floor heat was unavailable. Overall though, very nice stay and would recommend to others!🙂

I came to this place to celebrate my birthday and I brought my two children and one of their friends. We enjoyed the hot tub and the boys took their bikes out for a little adventure. Eventually, we relaxed to the sound of the creek behind the house and we made a fire in the fire pit by the rock. I was happy with Zeb and Ellen’s responsiveness as it related to communication. Although I experienced a small problem and was unable to communicate with them, I was happy that I was met with an understanding response. I wish Zeb and Ellen all the best!

Very lovely cottage and vacation experience, within walking distance of east coast wings and star bucks. Hot tub and fire pit were lovely additions to the cozy feeling.

Heather & Scott’s place was super cozy and comfortable. Close and convenient to all the local breweries and wineries. The place was absolutely pristine!!! Would definitely stay here again!!

We had an amazing time at Scott & Heather’s! Their home is beautiful and immaculately clean. The house offers something for everyone. The hot tub and fire pit were a great way to end the day!

Our family had the most peaceful retreat to David and Kit’s cottage, and they were very generous hosts, treating us to a morning with the cows and rides around the farm. The cottage itself was comfortable and spacious with everything we needed to feel right at home. There was so much opportunity to enjoy the outdoors both there at the farm and in the surrounding area: hiking at Douthat State Park, swimming in the Cowpasture River and the Warm Springs Pools, going on a carriage ride through the equestrian center at The Homestead, sightseeing the Falling Spring Falls and Humpback Bridge. We enjoyed starting and ending our days waking up to mountain views and the sound of the cows lowing in the fields and our walks around the farm, down to the river and up to the pond. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had in our 10+ years using the app. We’ve already shared this listing with friends and have started a list of what we’d like to explore next time we travel to Bath County.

Great cozy place! This was the perfect little getaway for my husband & I (plus our Border Collie) to celebrate our 1 year anniversary! All the furniture was very comfy! We thought the couch, dining chairs and bed were all great and we loved the cool shower too! Amanda is a super helpful and friendly host and definitely cares that her guests have a great experience! We enjoyed checking out the Blue Ridge Tunnel trail and the Blue Ridge Parkway which were both so close by!

Space space space! We were greeted by half a dozen deer on the expansive lawn when we first arrived 😍 The home is cute and has lots of charm. We enjoyed the open spaces of the living room, kitchen and oversized bedrooms. The bed had comfortable linens and there was extra of everything! The shower had hot water and lots of water pressure (a major plus for me!) and the front porch swing was peaceful and comfortable- a perfect place to spend a slow morning or to settle in at night. The location was super close to downtown and the local Food Lion was literally within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay! The only thing I would warn against, and it is only a negative if you have an allergy to pets, is that the space is pet-friendly so our allergies were flaring up a bit while there. However, you wouldn’t know it was pet-friendly if you didn’t see the pet items and the listing, because it was squeaky clean!

As usual, Cierra's Vintner's House was a warm, cozy, and inviting home for a long weekend. We actually stayed here last year for a horse competition in nearby Lexington. When our daughter qualified again, we immediately looked at each other and said, "Let's book at Ecco Adesso, again!" Immaculately clean and comfortable, decorated with warmth and function, and the most peaceful, picturesque atmosphere makes one feel as if you've landed in a storybook. We will mostly certainly be back. Thanks, Cierra!

We had an amazing stay at Melinda's Airbnb. Melinda was very helpful and responsive. This spot is in a perfect location and is within walking distance to the grocery store and is very close to the local restaurants. We already booked for another weekend!

This was a perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The fireplace was a treat, and we had a very cozy stay. It's hard to add to what other reviewers have already said, but here is one detail: on a winter's night, when the moon is down and the sky is clear, the stars are fantastic! Because there is no nearby light pollution, the view from the deck of the night sky is deep and brilliant.

What a wonderful get away! Our family stayed here about 2 years ago and had such a wonderful time. We couldn't wait to get back and it didn't disappoint! We had a wonderful stay and weather was great. Such a wonderful peaceful place. We always feel right at home. Craigs Creek is such a beautiful clean creek. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, canoeing and just hanging out in the water. Definitely will be back again. So thankful this host shares and blesses others by offering their place to others. For being where it is, Wi-Fi/internet works great and there is even a landline! Thanks again

We met up with family for Thanksgiving. The Lilac Cottage was the PERFECT place for a large group - four adults, four teenagers and two dogs. Our families live in Charlotte and Baltimore - this was a great place for meeting in the middle. We loved the quiet setting, fire pit (firewood provided), outdoor space, big comfy couch for movies, fantastic bathrooms and surprisingly spacious kitchen! Renee was responsive, supportive (we shared photos of our stay) and welcoming. We HIGHLY recommend the Lilac Cottage if you're looking for a comfortable, secluded stay in a beautiful setting! We have already talked about coming back for other family gatherings. Please don't hesitate to book a stay - You won't be disappointed!

Evelyn, Thank you for a wonderful stay. We truly enjoyed your space.. It was clean, inviting, and looked like the pictures. Like most guests, we loved the pond, patio and the privacy that the space provided. The host was very responsive and a kind person. Also, The complimentary drinks and snacks were much appreciated.

Wonderful little cottage that’s like brand new. Super clean and private. Wonderful place to get away and unwind. Kelly is a great host and is receptive to her guests. Can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back.

It was a wonderful stay at the Peony Cottage. It had everything we needed for our three day trip. Checking in and out was easy and I appreciate the quick response from our hosts to any questions we had. We loved the location and the cottage is beautifully decorated and well appointed. Every detail is well thought out, from the comfort of the beds to the beautiful furniture, decor and choice of colors throughout. Nice back porch, perfect for enjoying a snack and drinks in the late afternoon after a day of exploring historical sites in the area. The cottage is well maintained and very clean. The Peony Cottage is a jewel.

The fire pit and available wood was worth the whole stay on its own. The community was so nice and the was much to do outside for beautiful weather over the weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay for our friends bachelorette weekend, we enjoyed the games they had in the closet, we had plenty of space for all 9 girls even with it being only one shower, we made it all work! It was nice having the half bath too! We loved being so close to Blue Mountain Brewery. Thank you for a great weekend!

This is our fourth visit to Debbie's place and we love the privet and easy to access setting. it is beautiful there.
