Just an absolutely gorgeous home and property. We were cursed with some bad weather, which might have really impacted our enjoyment at a lesser locale, but the historic home with all of its fireplaces and the perfect tranquility achieved looking out at the chickens and geese running around the backyard just made the weather woes evaporate. As one of us said sitting out back under the umbrella looking out on the yard "I feel like I'm living in the Calm app." A great escape for us city-dwellers. Tony & Scott were great hosts, making themselves virtually invisible unless requested (more so than necessary, frankly. ) The home was so clean and beautifully appointed. They might be relatively new to hosting but they are already all-stars. We hope to visit again.

Wow! Pictures do not do it justice. The place is brand new. They have everything you could want including bathroom supplies cooking basics fire wood paper goods. This place was simply amazing. I mentioned cooking a turkey and not only did they make sure a roasting pan was there but also supplied disposable ones. The place looks professionally decorated. They had directions for everything. The small touches were fantastic. They even supplied cotton pads for your face. The layout is fantastic. The views of the lake were beautiful. We were all sad to leave. As great as it was in the winter I want to come back in the summer. There’s a bar across the water that you could just take a raft over to!

We had a group of ladies from around the state, everyone said they would absolutely come back to the property again! We arrived and it was incredibly clean, smelled amazing and was setup for our bachelorette perfectly! Laura was responsive, helpful and went above and beyond. The pool and hot tub were perfect and so relaxing. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms extremely clean and everything you could ever need in the home.. bug spray, beach towels, pool floats, kitchen appliances (toaster, many coffee choices, etc). We hope to be back for another weekend at Laura’s rental!

We loved our stay and would definitely come again! It’s a beautiful home and was the perfect getaway! 100% would recommend!

Everything was perfect, no complaints the hot tub was really nice to relax and the staff on the campgrounds were super friendly.

I rented the house for my family that came in town. Extremely clean and comfortable. The surround sound was a great bonus for my grandkids watching movies. I was really impressed with how clean everything was. And very nice that neighbors aren’t right next-door. A lot of privacy. A lot of nature/animals that the kids were able to see. I would rent this house again when family visits in the future. Michael was very quick to respond.

Absolutely amazing views of the lake from the front porch and inside the house too! Adorable and modern look and decor. Will totally stay here again!

Stayed here for LL 2024 and would do it again. It was a 7 minute ride to and from aside from getting there unless you left after 2-3pm. It was the perfect place to have AC, stay in from the rain, have a bed to sleep in and full kitchen/refrigerator to not pay festival food prices for every meal. Scott was and continues to be the best, nicest and most responsive host I’ve ever encountered. He treated us like family allowing us to check in early, check out late, etc.. He responded through the app as fast as if I was texting his personal cell. One of us left an item at the home and he sent it back right away. I plan on trying to book this anytime I come back for LL or come back to the area. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and everything was as advertised. We wish we could have used the boat slip/dock and fire pit but didn’t have the time.

Perfect house has everything you would need for any type of stay. Everything newly renovated, and the beds were all very comfortable! Benjamin was a great host, and although we never met he always responded quickly. Definitely would stay again!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house was clean, spacious, and very peaceful. I loved relaxing in the sunroom and watching wildlife from the patio in the evenings. The kitchen had everything I needed, and the beds were super comfortable. The location was perfect—quiet but just a short drive to Newark and Zanesville. Parking was easy with the large driveway. Overall, a great place to stay, and I’d definitely book again!

This place is so peaceful and very beautiful very clean !! I loved it here recommended!!!!!! Worth every penny

The historic features in the house made this stay extremely unique! We had a short trip with 3 guests, so there was ample room and the house had everything we needed

My nephew, his mom and I travelled to Newark for an accepted students event at OSU Newark Campus. Barb was very prompt in communications. We were able to bring an air mattress as Barb communicated ahead of time that guests were not permitted to sleep on the couch (this was my mistake for assuming while booking). The property is in a local residential area, the area has sidewalks but otherwise didn’t have anything close by that was walkable. The house is deceivingly large on the inside for what it looks like on the outside. We arrived after dark but the place was easy to find due to outside lights being on that lit up the house number. Entry was very easy, and instructions for getting in were clear. The bathroom was clean and the shower had good water pressure. We did not use the kitchen but it did have our names on a welcome sign which was a nice gesture. Beds were comfortable. Wifi instructions were easily findable. Overall I recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Michelle’s place was clean and well maintained. The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood close to local restaurants and shops. Michelle was very responsive and a wonderful host! I would highly recommend this or and home managed by Michelle.

This was the perfect location for what we needed. Super easy and close access to the soccer fields. The binder left at the house with directions for operating things around the house as well as the restaurant recommendations was a nice touch and made our stay that much nicer.

Great house, good parking, clean, great snacks, and more.. Thank you again for a great week!

We have family in the area that we could have stayed with but wanted privacy. There are only two other houses within sight but they are acres away. I love the farm atmosphere and the warmth of the old but well maintained house. The host was very responsive through out the entire process. Highly recommended and we would definitely consider staying there again.

Hands down one of the best places we have stayed. You can feel the history the house has been through right when you walk in. If you are looking for a comfy place to stay that you will remember this is the place for you. Thank you so much for hosting me and my friends.

Beth and her home were a wonderful choice for our stay in Newark. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and convenient. The pleasant neighborhood was great for morning and evening walks with our pupper, and he loved the treats she thoughtfully left for him! The back yard was a peaceful place to unwind in the evening. Beth was so helpful, kind, and personable. We had no needs but she would've taken care of anything in a heartbeat. The area is very quiet and her beds so comfortable - we slept like rocks every night. Very glad to find Beth's place. We can't wait to come back. 🙂
