Wow—what an absolute gem in Mount Gambier! This is hands down the most beautifully renovated abode I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, blending modern luxury with timeless charm. From the high-end finishes to the cozy, stylish furnishings, it felt more like a boutique retreat than a typical Airbnb. Kate went above and beyond with the amenities—breakfast provisions were generously stocked, including coffee, tea, hot coco, fresh milk, bread, spreads, and cereals, all waiting for us in the kitchen. It was such a thoughtful touch & made our mornings easy and enjoyable. One of the standout features for families was the second lounge room, which was fully decked out with toys, games, and books—an absolute haven for our daughter. It gave her her own space to play and unwind, and it gave us a moment to relax too! If you’re heading to Mount Gambier, do yourself a favor and stay here. It’s a truly special place and perfect for families/couples.

We couldn’t recommend Jes’s place highly enough! It’s such a beautiful house, really well set up for a family reunion weekend away, super clean and Jes had included so many lovely touches like Easter eggs for the kids and lots of lovely bits for breakfast. We definitely hope to return for another family trip - thanks for having us Jes!

great experience for a long weekend at Naracoorte. host has supplied breakfast. the place was nice and equipped with all necessities. I loved candles, board games and blankets in the living room - it helped to create lovely and very cosy atmosphere.

Great little cottage. Very comfortable and with heaps of character. Little details thought of and would recommend for people wanting to experience a little bit of Penola’s history.

What a beautiful location, stunning view from the balcony, and plenty of room for larger families to stay.

We had a lovely stay at Denice's place, and felt right at home. Denice has thought of all the creature comforts you could want for a relaxing getaway, from a fresh loaf of bread baked and ready to go on arrival, provisions for a full breakfast, to a TV with plenty of movies to watch, a sound system, and a comfy bed.

Sue made us feel at home from the get go and welcomed our fur baby with open arms. The lovely surrounds where beautiful to wake up to and we enjoyed the recommendations Sue suggested to check out in the local area.

Its was a cozy little stay and the host Barbara stayed late for us and we are highly thankful to them. The cerelas and basic items helped us alot as the town was close at night. Had a peaceful sleep and we were ready for next leg of our journey.

I booked ensuite 4 for my 2kids, dog and myself for 4nights, it was perfect! So much space for walking, bike riding, swimming and lots of activities on offer. My 8yr old loved the archery lesson he had with Johnny and had a great time exploring the walking track. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will be back soon.

I was very happy to have stayed at Monica’s BnB. She was very friendly and helpful and the house was very clean and well presented.

Well kept little unit which was perfect for the two of us and our little pup’s stay on the way from Adelaide to Melbourne.

Grace has a beautiful home and is warm, friendly and chatty. Grace and her dog, Ruby Rose made myself and my dog Lucy feel welcome and comfortable. We only stayed a couple of nights while visiting family locally, but wouldn't hesitate in booking with Grace again.

Natasha's place is just gorgeous. Historically beautiful with furnishings to suit and the gardens are just sensational. The home is spotlessly clean with every amenity that you could want. Natasha is friendly and informative and very welcoming and we wished we had stayed longer

Lee was a wonderful host, she cooked us a lovely big breakfast and even offered us a roast dinner! - we were set on the pub however so unfortunately passed the opportunity up Perfect place for a one night stop over or longer

Excellent communication by Sandra, very friendly and made me feel like im at my home. The place was spotless, and the host had the fridge and the cabinets filled up what all the necessary items you may need during our stay, very thoughtful 😊

I had a fantastic stay! Ian and Nicola are very welcoming and thoughtful host who made everything easy from start to finish. The room was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. Very comfy bed, hot shower, some simple breakfast and fruits are provided. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into making guests feel comfortable. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area. Highly recommended!

Lyne's place was beautiful and full of carefully thought-out details for the comfort of her guests, from stunning flowers to a wide selection of books of local history right down to a delicious cooked breakfast on the balcony. She was a wonderful host too, friendly and welcoming, with helpful local knowledge and recommendations. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
