We have stayed here several times before. It is a very convenient stopping off place for us in our drives to and from Melbourne from Adelaide. It is a charming, simple old cottage in an attractive rural setting. We enjoyed our stay as we have previously

A perfect place to stop and rest with the family. The grounds are peaceful and a great area for children to explore. The chalets are comfortable, homely and have everything you could need. This was our second visit and we hope to be back again.

Absolutely great place if you want to unplug from the outside world and enjoy the nature. The house is great as well, has everything you would want, just take some drinking water with you as only rain water is available.

what stood out was Mel's breakfast provisions which were beyond what we usually get at most B&B'S....more than enough eggs,bacon,good quality coffee,not cheap stuff,bread,the more expensive jam etc.

Tolka cottage is a charming, rustic retreat. The farm is surrounded by state forest and a wildlife haven. We saw kangaroos, wallabies, oodles of birds, deer and a koala all from the front veranda. Ivy was very responsive and helpful with her communication. She was away when wev vsited but had a friend there who was a friendly host. The home was well stocked with DVD and games, ample breakfast supplies, good quality linen and towels. The farm requires driving down gravel road for about 15 minutes which might not suit visitors with hire cars with restrictions on unsealed roads. We had no mobile phone reception once we left the sealed roads so I recommend taking offline maps if you don’t have other ways to navigate. We downloaded books and films on our devices before arriving and enjoyed being switched off from the phone and social media. Watch out for kangaroos and wallabies on the road into the farm and in the surrounding area.

Our group of 4 couples and 6 kids had a fantastic time here over 3 days - we came with provisions so hardly left the property at all. There were kids toys for the little ones, and they had so much fun in the big open spaces. They had fun watching the farm animals too (sheep and horses), and played with the 2 lovely dogs. We also played cricket in the nets, tennis on the court was great fun, we dipped in the pool (albeit a little cold in early November!), went for a few jogs, ambled around beautiful surroundings, and generally had a magnificent time. Thanks Sara and Wal for hosting us, we would happily go back in future.

It was a property that fulfilled all of our needs and expectations. It allowed us to bring our cavoodle who is very much part of our family. With 2 other couples to share my birthday weekend ! The home has that instant beach Hamilton feel , spacious open living ,furnished for complete comfort , views to die for , a huge big beautiful green open lawn that surrounds the home , down onto the beach where we got beautiful sunrises and even better sunsets:)) nature at its best! We even had the pleasure of a storm rolling in on the last night with thunder and lightening . We felt very spoilt from our arrival on the Saturday to when we left on the Tuesday! Thankyou for this beautiful experience, we will deff recommend:) D+N+M xx

I have stayed in BnB's all over SA for work and I have two listings myself, one in SA and one in Bali. Alana and Jay's country cottage is exceptional if you are happy to stay in an amazing cottage in a working cropping and sheep farm! The cottage has everything you'll need..... was spotlessly clean, welcoming and Alana always available for anything you'll need. As a Co-host on Air BnB, I took photos of the little things that Alana has provided and will take them onboard to improve my own Air BnB properties.! The night view of stars with no light 'pollution' of street lights... amazing... Regrets? I didn't get to meet the very friendly sheep dog!!

Amazing stay! We loved our visit. The property was very clean and well kept. We felt the hosts went over and above for us. We are very grateful to have been able to stay at this stunning property during Easter.

We loved our stay at the Kilsby Sinkhole Villas! The accommodation was amazing - all very clean, well equipped and beautifully presented. We also met Graham and Jo (and Spike!) during our stay and felt very welcome. A lot of effort has gone into presenting and maintaining the property and we loved how quiet and private it was during our stay. We have no hesitation in revisiting Kilsby in a heartbeat and would plan in a tour / dive in the sinkhole itself next time. Kilsby is a hidden gem just outside Mt Gambier and a good option we'd recommend for couples and small families to stay. Thanks for having us!

Great experience… always wanted to stay in tiny home! Tara-Jae was nice and easy to communicate with which was a plus to the stay! The place pretty much brand new and well maintained/clean. Has everything you would need!

Gorgeous little place to stay on a beautiful farm, cute doggos and such peaceful surroundings.

This is the second time we have stayed at Simon's. We love it for the excellent pool, lovely garden area, multiple living/chilling areas, peace and quiet. Its about 7km from Bordertown and a few km from Mundulla so within a really easy drive for morning cafe coffee and the Bordertown and Mundulla pubs for dinner. The place has a gorgeous panorama at cocktail hour and at night you can see stars forever! A place to unwind and play the many board games and do the tricky jigsaws on offer (and put your phone/streaming service away for a few hours).

We had the most wonderful stay at Graham & Jo’s accomodation. Everything was thought out and perfect. The location was fantastic and the house was extremely clean. Thank you so much for our stay.

It was our first glamping experience and we were not disappointed. The bathroom amenities were clean, warm and private, which we didn't expect. The extra blanket were great. overall we were comfortable from beginning to end. we would highly recommend Pine Country to others. it is also so close to The Blue Lake and Sunken Garden.

We loved our stay! The property was peaceful, clean, and perfect for families. The peaceful surroundings combined with the big yard, orchards, chooks made for a perfect family vacation. Our kids enjoyed collecting eggs, playing in the big backyard, and watching the farm animals. There are books, outdoor play equipments, toys, board games and other fun activities to enjoy. The house itself was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended! Thanks to our wonderful hosts!
