This house was wonderful. Nothing fancy, but exactly what we wanted and needed. It is out in the country (beautiful sunsets and sunrises, btw) and very peaceful. Great for families. Also, I was so appreciative of the extra detail Mary put in by providing breakfast foods and allowing our kids to pet/feed the animals and even providing fishing equipment and s'mores supplies! We have already talked about coming back next time we're in Waco area.

A great stay just a short distance from Waco. Loved the place, very quiet, clean and peaceful. It's a little dark driving in the back roads to get to the place, but overall a really beautiful experience. Heather the rooster woke us the next morning in the most farm like way.

Perfect Cozy Getaway! I had an amazing stay at this beautifully furnished cabin! The space was spotless, well-stocked with everything I needed, and had a warm, cozy atmosphere that made it feel like home. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen had all the essentials, and the little details (like extra blankets), board games, and a coffee station made the experience even better. The location was peaceful, has a pond where you can fish. The host was friendly and responsive, ensuring a smooth check-in and a comfortable stay. Stayed here for a College Bass fishing tournament, boat parking is a little tough but very doable with 3 21’ boats and trucks. Very clean house and host is very responsive! Will stay here again!

Plenty of space. Everything worked well. Clean and all basic kitchen items available, including coffee pot. Hot tub was excellent. Appreciated the quick responses from the host. 4 miles from the state park which was nice for getting a good walk in. Beds were comfortable.

We spent Christmas there with our son who lives in Mexia. Had a great time. Had quite a lightning show one evening which was awesome. Never lost power. I would like to come back in summer when the lake is full. House was nice and as described. Robert was always responsive. Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle. Hope to return.

Great place, one of our favorite things was sitting on the rocking chairs on the back porch. Great view of the sky and stars as far as the eye could see. So relaxing and comfortable!!! My wife had already asked if we can come back.

The house is so beautiful and a perfect getaway from the city life. The house is very authentic and has so much of history and culture in it. Absolutely loved the place and the backyard too! Would definitely visit again.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb for a high school fishing tournament at Lake Limestone! The house was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. The owners were a pleasure to work with—responsive, accommodating, and truly welcoming. It was the perfect spot for our group, including our boat captain, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If they’ll have us, we would love to stay again the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!
