Kim and Rene are amazing hosts, they are super friendly people. The house is equipped with all necessary stuff to do your vacations a success. I'd definitely come back. Extremely recommended!

Muy buena experiencia. Janina se comunicó conmigo y nos envió de manera muy clara todas las indicaciones de la casa y la información para el check in, que muy amablemente nos permitieron hacer un poco antes de la hora. El espacio es amplio y cómodo. Tiene implementos de cocina para preparar comida, buen internet y basureros para separar el reciclaje 💚 La propiedad es de fácil acceso y está muy cerca de la calle principal, pero a la vez es muy privada y silenciosa. Todo salió muy bien.

I cannot even put to words how beautiful Happy House is-it was incredible. So much beautiful nature and wildlife right outside your door at all times- we enjoyed sitting on the porch every evening and watching the monkeys, sloths, macaws, toucans and so much more. Beautiful clean beach just steps outside and SO private. There was rarely anyone on the beach at all! I’m so grateful we got to experience Steve’s place- we will most definitely be back. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Our recent stay at the Caribbean Coconut Hotel in Playa Grande, Cahuita, Costa Rica, was nothing short of magical—and a huge part of that was thanks to Silvio! From the moment we arrived, his warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care made our vacation truly special. Silvio went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed whether recommending the best local eats or simply sharing his deep knowledge of the area’s culture and wildlife. His positive energy and dedication to guest satisfaction are what set this hotel apart. The property itself is a slice of paradise—tropical, tranquil, and just steps from the stunning Playa Grande. But it’s the people who make a place memorable, and Silvio’s kindness and professionalism made us feel like family. If you’re looking for an authentic, relaxing, and joy-filled Costa Rican experience, Caribbean Coconut Hotel—and especially Silvio—will exceed all expectations. Pura vida at its finest!

The people at the lodge are wonderful and made us feel very at home and welcome. Breakfast was really good too. We rented bikes from Mister Joseph and the ride to and from town took about 20 minutes because it is a bumpy unpaved rode but also has few cars and ocean views making it a pretty journey. The beach there is very dramatic with lovely sunrises. Isabelle is very active and engaged with the community and environmental projects and is a wealth of information about Cahuita. Roberto is also a gem of kindness and knows a ton about plants and animals.

Casa Viva is a unique place. Magnificent villa set in the jungle filled with wonderful vegetation. Excellent access to the beautiful beach, where guests have access to deckchairs and towels. Water equipment for rent at an additional cost. The villa is cleaned daily, towels are changed daily. Beautiful bathrooms, very comfortable bedrooms. Living room and terrace with a beautiful exposure to the garden. Generally the whole plot is safe, clean and tidy. The kitchen is very well equipped. Luis is a great host. Before our arrival, we received all the necessary information and recommendations of restaurants, shops and attractions. Highest possible rating.

Bezaubernde Gastgeber, die Unterkünfte mit verschiedenen Bungalows sind intim und trotzdem kann man sehr viel beieinander sein. Der Pool ist herrlich! Zugang zum Meer: wenige 100 m zum Playa Grande weg.

An oasis in the jungle just a short distance from the beaches, restaurants and activities. Paolo is a great guy. Super friendly and responsive. The space is beautiful, well decorated and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and the shower pressure is impressive. Highly recommended and I hope to return. We were there for a week and felt right at home. There’s a large deck where we did yoga everyday with toucans chipping in the trees.

Muy bonito todo, muy atentos los dueños, buen lugar como para una estancia tranquila con familia y/o amigos, tuvimos música hasta tarde y nadie se quejo. Todo super bien.

The place was great! The cabin was private, surrounded by nature, and a great view spot for animals. The cabin was also very well built and lots of space for lounging and other activities. Benno and his wife were very friendly and helpful for whenever we needed something. All of the restaurants and shops were within a reasonable walking distance and the beach was also very close by. So overall a very great a place and we highly recommend staying here.

Superbe Airbnb! L'arrivée et la visite ont été faits avec le père de Bruno qui a été super gentil. Tout était três bien. Très beau, moderne, très équipé (air fryer, cuiseur pour le riz...) Air climatisé très fonctionnelle. Le coin extérieur a été vraiment extra (chaise hamac, petit coin lounge, caisse de son extérieur, la végétation a poussée par rapport aux photos donc très intime.) Très belle piscine qu' on a utilisé en revenant de nos sorties. Super!! Seul petit point négatif (hors contrôle de l'hôte): le bruit de la circulation, surtout celui des camions mais l'air climatisé atténuait le bruit. J'y retournerais sans hésitation!

Bianca was very kind and helpful and the place was wonderful. The pictures do not do it justice. Perfect location. Lookout for sloths!

I was travelling with my two children, a 2 year old and a teenager and we had the most wonderful time at his pristine bungalow. Its a little slice of heaven in Costa Rica, untouched and walkable to a beautiful beack down the road. The lighting and views from the terrace could not have been more gorgeous, I am already excite to come back. Ariana and her husband are so kind and always just one text or call away, and will assist you immediatly. Highly recommend.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in Mikes Apartment und definitiv die schönste Unterkunft während unserer ganzen Costa Rica Reise! Die Zimmer sind sehr detailreich eingerichtet und es fehlte an nichts. Dazu ist das Gelände um die 3 Bungalows sehr gepflegt und der Pool ein toller Pluspunkt! :) Der Standort ist perfekt gelegen auf einem kleinen ruhigen Berg, lässt sich jedoch trotzdem problemlos ohne 4x4 Auto erreichen (eher selten in der Gegend). Wir haben mehrere Ausflüge von Uvita aus gemacht (Ziplining, Esmeralda Wasserfälle, Bootsfahrt nach Corcovado) und dabei war die Unterkunft optimal gelegen. Alles in allem waren Mike und sein Team großartige Gastgeber! Wir haben viele Tipps zur Gegend bekommen und die Kommunikation war 1A! Wir würden die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen und bei der nächsten Reise definitiv wiederkommen! :)
