wir hatten 3 Wunderbare Tage bei Swin. Das Häuschen hat eine tolle Aussicht und bietet mit dem grossen Garten viel platz für die Kinder um sich auszutoben. Wir haben jeden morgen auf der Terrasse gefrühstückt und uns am anblick der vielen Vögeln und Schmetterlinge kaum satt gesehen. Swin hat uns tolle Tipps gegeben die in der Nähe waren. Sie war sehr bemüht und Gastfreundlich. Einfach perfekt!

Alright, where do I even begin?! Our family stay was absolutely perfect. The location was fantastic – private and peaceful, yet close enough to everything we wanted to explore. We felt completely safe and secure, which is always a huge plus when traveling with family. The property itself was immaculate! Spotlessly clean, and the pool was truly the star of the show – we spent hours splashing and relaxing. Ricardo was a super star when it came to recommendations. We took their advice and arranged for breakfast with the recommended chef on our second day and it was delicious! Honestly, this place is exactly what you need for a relaxing getaway. It's clear they have put a lot of thought and care into making it a wonderful experience for their guests. The communication was top-notch, and the check-in/check-out process was a breeze. We had such a fantastic time, and we're already dreaming of returning! We wholeheartedly recommend this place. Thank you for everything!

Adela and her son Philip were wonderful and gracious hosts. The property is outstanding and offers a wonderful environment to rest and get away. The house we rented was great and the outdoors was cheerful and very quiet. We loved it. Thank you Adela. We will return.

Great place to stay if you wish to get some clear air. The property is huge and beautiful, with lots of trails to walk. The view is unbeatable, as soon as you walk out the cozy house, you'll be taken away by the mountains. Me and my friends will definitely revisit.

We had a great time here. The farm , forest and river and views of Turrialba volcano are beautiful. We love hiking and so the several great hiking trails which were fully signposted and easy to access really made our stay. We walked all day and had a blast 💥 cynic sorting by the river. One of the lovely farm dogs liked to come with us on some walks which we really enjoyed. The cabin was spacious and had everything you needed. Even though Alfonso was away working for our stay his staff were great and he personally called us each day to make sure everything was ok.

Jason & Genny are so nice and chill and respectful and real. It felt private and safe and calm. Please please walk around and look at all the plants and trees, their property is gorgeous. Also look up the sound of the red eyed tree frog and if you hear them at night go out with a flashlight and find them! We had (alllllmost) as much fun just waking around and finding frogs and insects and plants in the privacy of their place as we did on our walk in cahuita. Their place was super nice as a retreat from the busyness of the town. We didn’t know much what to expect and Puerto Viejo was way more poppin than we realized, so having this place to return to was a relief for traveller-over-stimulation. Howler monkeys in the trees overhead. Just dope. *would recommend* *would book again* - p.s. our favorite meal was chola’s place

The most beautiful little jungle oasis. I visited for nine days during Envision Festival and despite all of the units having people in them, it was quiet and peaceful, and I had the pool to myself for a chunk of time almost every night, and got to float in the river! I wish I had arrived a couple days early or stayed longer. The little kitchenette was great and the little patio was my haven in the mornings. Hosts were lovely—they helped me get my bearings with travelling solo in a new country. So very helpful! Chris even took me to the festival so I didn’t miss my excursion one morning when I couldn’t get a drive. I found getting a cab or Uber to pick me up VERY difficult and coming home at night most of the cab drivers wouldn’t drive down the last laneway because it is a dirt road and steep. It’s not very long, so I ended up just walking it. Something to note if you are travelling without a car. If you have one you’ll be fine! Laundry on site was a blessing but there’a a fee.

Las Cumbres is truly a magical place. We loved every single detail in the glass cabin. And also seeing the horses, the mountain, the river. The host was very kind and offered us a free late check out. We hope to come back soon.

Beautiful house, unique design, perfect location. Located on the slopes of Irazu, the house is in a picturesque location. There is a gated driveway with a steel door which made the place feel very secure. The host was extremely attentive and responsive. Lots of little details like a warm snack when we arrived, marshmallows, etc. Definitely try the optional breakfast!! It may have been the best meal (definitely the best value!) we had on our entire trip! Nothing to walk to but we wanted to be close to the volcano to get an early start on our days.

Nortico was beautiful. The Tiny House was easy to find and the hosts were very welcoming, communicative, and flexible. Kiara, the dog, was also so sweet and charming. You must do the tour to understand the inner-workings of the farm's beauty as well. Their approach to sustainable agriculture is insightful, inspiring, and fun. Thank you, Nortico!

The view off Xinia’s deck was stunning and I had very good birding from her deck. In fact I identified over 50 species of birds on her property. My month at her place couldn’t have been better. The property with all Xinia’s plants, the cows, the Guinea fowl, dogs and cats was charming and peaceful. The cabin was well equipped and clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend her place and hope to return sometime in the future.

Our first trip during this visit to Costa Rica was Jan’s place. Excellent choice to start our vacation. The house is beautiful, cozy and well equipped. José, the local caretaker made sure to make us feel at home and gave us useful information and tips. Jan, the home owner was extremely friendly and responsive. His recommendations were very useful during our holiday. The property felt right away like home and was the perfect place to unwind and relax. The surroundings and views were stunning. Every day we would start early in the morning watching and photographing the beautiful birds in the garden and surroundings, followed by breakfast at the terrace. During the day there were plenty of options to keep busy: enjoy the walks at the property itself or go to the beach for example. Our favorite place by far, the waterfall at Eco Chontales (one hour away). The Nauyaca waterfall is definitely worth a visit too. We absolutely loved the house and strongly recommend it!

Seidy and her husband are incredible hosts. The house is better in real life than pictures on Air B&B can reveal! Highly recommend this spot. Our family felt right at home & wished we could have stayed longer. Very private and quiet. Active working farm. Again...Seidy is so kind. She met us at the door when we checked in, had fresh eggs, apples, tea and avocados waiting in the kitchen. She even offered to make us breakfast in the morning, which was beautiful and delicious! The house is incredibly clean. Do not look further for another house in Dota/ Copey. Reserve with Seidy... excellent all-around!! (:

What a beautiful place! The accommodation is really comfortable, tucked away in an exotic setting next to a stunning river. We explored the grounds, which are really lovely, and a testament to the hard work that the owners, Mike and Michael , have put in to developing this piece of paradise. They are also the most wonderful of hosts, and go out of their way to give you the best experience possible. Sadly we were only able to stay for 2 nights, but we would highly recommend that anyone venturing to this beautiful part of Costa Rica, stays for longer.

Dit huis is gewoon geweldig. Alles wat je nodig hebt en nog veel meer. Alle kruiden en benodigdheden die je nodig hebt in een keuken zijn aanwezig. Volledig privé en zeer rustig met een heel veel dieren en vogels die men kan bewonderen. Mary is een uitstekende gastvrouw die er alles aan doet om het naar je zin te maken. Ook stonden er 6 koude biertjes in de frigo zodat we meteen iets konden drinken bij aankomst. Ik raad het huis ten zeerste aan en wij komen zeker nog eens terug

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Margarita Hills. We felt right at home during our stay. Tree and her pups kindly greeted us upon our late arrival. The fresh fruit was a nice welcoming gift. Her farm fresh eggs were very tasty. She was beyond accommodating and full of suggestions for things to do and tips for getting around the area. The open, yet covered second floor kitchen and living space really made the space special. The grounds were beautifully gardened and it was fun to visit the goats and Tree’s menagerie of birds. Her staff was very friendly and happy to help. Two days was not long enough and we can’t wait to stay here again the next time we’re in the area!

Finca Guarumal is not just an Airbnb but an experience! I had planned a 20+km hike and found this Airbnb 8 min from the hiking trail. WOW am I glad I came across such a special and unique farm! The Airbnb was spacious, the kitchen was perfect with a large refrigerator, the bathroom was spa like and the washer and dryer is fantastic because I like packing light. Very clean and comfortable! Natalia created a cozy place! Beyond the Airbnb was the FARM and the surrounding beauty! Don Miguel, the owner of the farm for 40 years, is a breath of fresh air and has so much knowledge on both the animal life and flowers/trees! It was so amazing to walk the farm and the quiet roads and learn so much about nature. Also, the views are unmatched! The BEST part was the horses! I could have spent all day hanging out with the horses (and Don Miguel 😂). If you have a car there is so much to explore and do. Don Miguel can give suggestions based off of your interests. Thanks for a great experience!

We had an amazing stay at this amazing Rock house!! Unlike anything you’ve seen before. The hot tub was a welcome relaxing experience when we arrived and the temps had dipped down a bit. Can’t wait to stay again, and we’ll absolutely recommend to friends!!

My family and I have stayed in many Airbnbs in the US and abroad and Nicole’s home was hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had! We enjoyed the house itself with a wonderful pool and spacious rooms, the incredible setting replete with wildlife and expansive sunsets, easy access to primary forest with a veritable water park, beautiful beaches and great restaurants. Nicole was genuine, kind and very responsive. We hope to return to CR soon and there’s little doubt where we plan (hope) to stay again. Muchas Gracious Nicole!

This was an excellent place to stay for the second half of our first Costa Rican adventure. The house and the separate casita were perfect for our family of seven adults. The backyard is a private, tropical oasis. We spent most of our time while at the house on the spacious, covered patio or in the refreshing plunge pool. The location is great for access to grocery stores, coffee shops and restaurants. Beaches are just a short drive away. The host, Aaron, was helpful and responsive. We hope to return in the future!

You'd have to search a long, long time to find a more helpful, generous, and gracious hostess than Laura. She went out of her way to help us with a problem we had in getting to her place. There was a bowl of fresh fruit harvested from her property waiting for us in the kitchen, and Laura had put four fresh coconuts in the fridge, already husked and ready for us tothe cold milk. Laura also included us in a nice birthday cookout for one of the men who works there. This is a great place to rest and recuperate from traveling. The house is beautifully built and very comfortable. The king-size bed and the walk-in shower are luxurious. The washer & dryer allowed us to leave with clean clothes in our suitcases. The nights were quiet; the stars and the sound of the river were wonderful. We had a car but never left the property. The kitchen is one of the best equipped I've seen in Airbnb rentals and there was coffee & tea. We could have lived for several days on the items in the pantry.
