We had a fantastic stay at Luanne's! The house is in a good location, about 10 min to downtown Boothbay Harbor. The property is beautiful with a great view of the water. The bedroom and bathroom setup worked well for us, since most bedrooms had access to its own bathroom. Everything was clean, appliances and grill worked. Luanne was very responsive to any questions and issues. Renters should note that there is a guest cottage/converted garage on the property, just about 15 feet away from the main house, and this cottage is also rented out. The property is essentially shared between the two houses. It did not become an issue during our stay, but we were cognizant that there may be another car coming up the driveway when the dogs and kids were out in the yard and it did make the property feel less private. Overall, would recommend Luanne's for a great stay close to Boothbay.

We had an amazing time! My family enjoyed the dock and hot tub. The older crowd loved the deck and watching boats and birds.

Simply a great place to relax and enjoy the lake life, whether kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing, boating or simply relaxing on the dock and decks. Lots to do in the area and Pemiquid Beach is like a slice of the Caribbean in Maine. Pemiquid Lighthouse offers great vistas of the coast. Only 35 minutes away is the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Booth Bay. Simply one of the best gardens in the country and now the home of 5 amazing Woods Trolls by Thomas Dambo. There is something for everyone including children of all ages. All of the other reviews cover the rest of what makes Owls Nest a great spot on the lake. Enjoy!

We would have moved in but the owner might not have liked that. It was so amazingly beautiful and watching the tide go in and out every day was peaceful. The bedrooms were pristine. The kitchen was well appointed, even the knives were sharp. This is a very walkable stay in Boothbay Harbor. The Thistle Restaurant is superb and get the carrot cake !! We will be booking again with a trip with the children and another trip with friends. The theater was lovely but we did not take advantage of it this trip.

We had a great week at Adam’s place! My family loved the quiet, natural setting and ease of access to Boyd’s Pond. The swimming area had a gradual slope into the water which was perfect for young kids. The big kitchen was great for cooking large family meals, and we also got out for fantastic seafood dinners at the nearby Shaw’s Wharf. Thanks for a wonderful Maine getaway!

Great place to stay!!! Awesome location. Very easy check in and check out. The front porch is a really nice place to hang out and we loved the layout of the kitchen and dinning area.

The location of this property is unbeatable. Close enough to town, but lakeside down a quiet wooded road. Kids were thoroughly entertained with the outdoors, and my son caught his first fish off the dock to round out a memorable weekend.

Lovely place she has there! Would definitely go back when I’m in the Waldoboro area again.

Just returned from a two nights stay at Robert’s. We both enjoyed our time there very much. Everything was just as described and we had everything we needed during our stay. We were even able to make a few easy meals to save on dining out which was helpful. Robert made some great suggestions on how to make the most of our time in the Boothbay area. We hope to return for another visit during the summer months.

Clark’s Cove Farm is a magical place. The grounds, orchard, gardens and shore are beautiful, peaceful and well maintained. Tim was very responsive when we had questions or needed anything. The carriage house was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was pretty well furnished. We loved spending time on the deck when we were home. Great spot!!

Place was a great two day getaway! Clean and peaceful

Cottage was in a perfect location and very private and peaceful. Driving distance to a lot of nice towns and restaurants. Cottage was quaint, clean and had all the essentials. I loved the PDF they supplied before the visit with very clear instructions for check in, check out and parking. They had a ton of recommendations for things to do and places to eat at! We will be back!

I enjoyed my stay so much. The home is cozy and peaceful. The water views in the main bedroom and living area are lovely. It was perfect for a quiet winter getaway. Nancy was super responsive and helpful. Loved it here.

Absolute perfect place to get away from everything, while still being close to all that Maine offers. The cabin has everything you could need and then some, and the view and proximity of the lake is breathtaking. Ouda was super helpful and friendly. This is one of the rare airbnb listings where the pictures and description match the reality (and then some because trying to capture what it's like to look at the lake as the sun comes up is impossible). We're already planning on coming back next year, 100% recommended!

Janine’s place was beyond what I expected! The space is much bigger than the photos show and the surrounding area is so quiet and peaceful but close enough to surrounding towns & trails. My husband and I stayed here with a couple friends for a wedding and we had such a lovely time kayaking, reading by the lake, and making breakfast each morning. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful lake with superb access. Cabin was very comfortable and use of laundry was essential. Also had use of kayaks and paddle board which was so much fun. Everything listed on amenity list was there and in great condition. Beds were great. Had a wonderful week there and would definitely return. Thanks to Erin who answered all my questions right away, and made our stay comfortable.

This was our second stay at The Pink Cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first. Ellen and Wilder are thoughtful hosts who have provided a super clean, comfortable, well stocked home away from home on beautiful Lake Damariscotta. It's easily the best rental we've stayed in, and we look forward to our next trip to Maine....especially in the fall!

This airbnb is well-hosted by people who clearly have done this for a while and thought about what guests want and need. The setup was perfectly comfortable to host 4 (2 couples) and could have even hosted more perfectly well. The location on the lake is so serene, especially in the mornings and evenings. We deeply enjoyed the chance to see the stars with such clear skies and a picture-perfect reflection on the placid lake. We were fortunate that the weather was quite nice for November and we were able to kayak on the water. Even though there are other buildings around the lake, it did not feel like we sacrificed any degree of privacy, due to how the property is situated and the environs are landscaped. On the whole, there were no issues and all who stayed there had a wonderful time.
