Jens place was a saving grace for us. We came down to Montana from Edmonton and went to check in to a VRBO but unfortunately it was covered in mouse droppings it was late and pouring rain and we were travelling with 2 kids both with health conditions. After finding a hotel for the night we came across Jens place. It was exactly as described a great price and super comfy. When I booked she saw we had 3 kids with us so she checked if she could set up the couch into a bed. It was very thoughtful and refreshing after our a rough start to our vacation. Jens place was very comfortable clean and had all the basics and then some. She was quick to communicate and her rules were all very simple. We loved our stay and my husband and I plan to come back for another trip kid free next time. This will dinitely be the place we stay!

This place felt so cozy! It smelled amazing and was so clean! I would stay there again without hesitation.

Just absolutely LOVED staying here and wished we could have stayed longer. Totally comfortable, commanding views from the front porch- everything you could need in the kitchen - If I had friends who would agree to travel with me to hike or just spend time - I would choose this place again without question. Would be excellent for large families or small group - middle bathroom was HUGE - bar area and hot tub (though we did not use) were awesome additions. Living room was large and comfortable. We slept in the bigger bed - very comfortable and quiet. So many beds and bedrooms! Hosts were so gracious and easy to communicate with - and so kind to us! I just so enjoyed being there and appreciate the chance at staying in such a beautiful place (I used to work in Libby and was married in Nixon - loved being back there - hope to. come back some time!).

My family and I spent a few days at Carren's place. We were pleasantly surprised by the house location, it's quiet and surrounded by forest. The house has everything you need for your stay, it's very clean and cozy. We loved a small fireplace and a big deck where you can sit and watch distant mountains and listen to the sounds of nature! This place deserves nothing but the five star review! Carren is a great host. We recommend it and would be happy to stay there again!

We had a wonderful time at Kristy’s house on Ashley Lake! The house was huge, comfortable, and in an ideal location for relaxing & enjoying all the lake has to offer. It is definitely remote, but the hosts have thought of EVERYTHING (lake toys for all ages, shampoo, etc, basic cooking supplies/utensils, sunscreen/towels/life jackets). We brought in groceries & never needed anything else. We were a group of 8 (2 families with older teenagers), and we all loved it! Kristy also gave recommendations for boat rentals, and we were able to rent a boat & dock it at the house. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for an ice fishing trip. Perfect location, easy to access the lake. This is a very comfortable home to stay in, and would probably be even better in summer with more use of the available outdoor spaces.

The Eagles Nest at Star Meadow Ranch is a very nice property, and run by some very nice people. If you are looking for privacy, beautiful mountain and meadow views, this place would not disappoint. Eagles Nest is one of 4 cabins up on a hill surrounded by large pines and overlooking hundreds of acres of meadowland. The property is part of a Wedding Venue. I was there in the off-season (Jan), and other than one weekend, had the entire place to myself and my dogs. It was well built, maintained and furnished. The property is located about 30 miles West of White Fish, MT. Although pretty remote, it took only 40 minutes to get to town, and during the winter the roads were very well maintained and accessible with a 4 wheel drive vehicle. There is a private road that runs through the meadow and a great place to get out and walk, snowshoe, and relax. I highly recommend Star Meadow Ranch fi you are trying to just get away from it all.

We were looking for a place to unplug for a few days as a family. This house was in a secluded neighborhood with hiking trails just down the street. The weather prohibited us from using the fireplace area, but it looked amazing. Plenty of wood for the next visitors. Comfy beds, plenty of towels, etc., family-friendly games. Not much to do on this area, but just an hour away from Whitefish and 1.5hrs from Flathead Lake. Tara was very responsive to any questions I had.
