He was so welcoming and a great conversator. Me and my fiance got engaged on this trip and loved all of his recommendations he gave us for restaurants. The ocean being right outside was so beautiful and made sleeping so wonderful. The town is a walk away and parking is everywhere. Our time at Bonsai Cottage has made us question where we live now and it has made it an annual trip. Can't wait for 4th of July next year!

Loved it. I got an earlier check in at 1:30 and I really appreciated that. Linda was responsive to my needs and I even got to meet her this time. This is my 3rd time of staying at the Drift Inn. The restaurant has fantastic food, the music is great and we could even go back to our room and watch the OT of the final game of the WNBA while we waited the 15 minutes for a table to become available. Everything was wonderful! I highly recommend any of the many accomodations at the Drift Inn. We have a dog and the "Dog Bag" is great. We can go the the nearby beach, play in the sand even if it is raining and return to our room and clean up with the towels provided in the bag. The hot soup after a rainy day tasted delightful, as well.

This location was fantastic, with easy walking access to numerous destinations. Nye Beach core is just down the street, and there's a park across the street perfect for kids and dogs. The beach is very close, and we even walked to the Saturday Farmers Market. The space was ample for our needs, accommodating two humans and two dogs comfortably. However, there were a couple of downsides. The upstairs area can get noisy, especially when other vacationers arrive for the weekend, as we could hear them walking up and down the stairs and along the floors. Additionally, the lack of drawers or shelving for clothes was inconvenient. The only closet is in the bathroom, and while it has a hanging rack, the shelving is minimal and mostly used for extra blankets and other items, making it difficult to fully unpack for extended stays.

Great location right in the middle of town. They also have a great restaurant on site. Highly recommend.

This was a very nice place to stay. It has really good views and is really close to all the little shops. We will definitely be coming back.

Paul's place is an absolute gem. We had such a great time exploring the local beach, hunting for agates and other pretty stones. Paul was kind enough to put out food and water dishes for our dog Nina, as well as covering the furniture. The fireplace was such a cozy touch, the artwork everywhere was really fun. The glass jellyfish was amazing, as was the very cool driftwood anglerfish lamp! Our stay was so special and the place was perfect for decompressing. We are excited to return! The place was so relaxing!! The bed was so comfortable and so big, the Jacuzzi tub was absolutely amazing and the view was beautiful !!!! We will definitely be back!!!

We visited Newport to celebrate my husbands 30th birthday with our two dogs and we all felt right at home. Our whale watching excursion got rained out but we didn’t mind! The beach nook was cozy and had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves from a fully equipped kitchen and grill to a relaxing hot tub perfect size for the two of us! But best of all, you can tell Kelly pays attention to the little details that really make a place feel like home—from freshly washed robes to a bottle of complimentary wine, coffee, and a post card. I recommend this Airbnb to any couple looking for a weekend away in Newport central to everything from the historic beachfront to amazing restaurants like Cuisinako and Local Ocean Seafoods. This place had to be my top place I’ve ever stayed. Not only was the host amazing. They welcomed me in like I was family. The house was so cute and the scenery was beautiful. It was a forest vibe with a beautiful view of the ocean. This place was equipped with everything even the cutest little dog. The only thing I can complain about is that I was not able to stay longer.
