We stayed here for my son's wedding. Very peaceful, private, and comfortable. Husband saw otters in the pond while walking the dogs! Deer in the yard both mornings. Comfy beds and lots of games if you have time for that which we did not unfortunately. I would highly recommend staying here! It is a very short trip to The Hive wedding venue too! Thank you for a great stay!

This was a large beautiful home with a ton of character. We were in town for a wedding and wanted to stay together as a family instead of at a hotel so we could hang out after putting the kids to bed. This was an awesome house for our situation, having tons of beds/upstairs bedrooms. We were able to fit our entire family and separate the kids from the noise on the main level! We were so grateful to find this place that fit our needs perfectly. It was a very well taken care of place and made our stay work out perfectly!

This pictures don’t do this place justice. Beautiful house. Very spacious. The outside was amazing. The views will make you think like you’re in Montana; prairie views for miles. The back of the house had 2 big decks. One with patio furniture and a hot tub along with three different grills. The downstairs had a fire pit along with furniture to enjoy the fire. The walk down to the river was as very enjoyable. A nice wide path you could even drive on. Overall this place was amazing and we will be back again.

We were in town for a short business trip, this place was perfect. Amazing views. We ended up getting quite a bit of snow and our host was so responsive and proactively brought us a goody box of things we might need. Stay was amazing, definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Julie is a fantastic host with a lovely house. This is our fourth stay with her on our regular trips to Des Moines. The house is well-appointed and cozy, and Julie is attentive and thoughtful without being overbearing. She has one of the best stocked kitchens I've seen, and she's generous with other comforts like spare toilet paper, kleenex boxes, and extra towels and blankets. It is clear when a host really cares about delivering a quality stay for their guests, and she is great!

Everything about GG’s cabin was perfect. It was secluded, yet easy to find and only 10 minutes from restaurants and shopping. The cabin was immaculate. It was so thoughtfully furnished with everything we might need. The few instructions were very clear, and everything just worked and was comfortable—so we didn’t need to contact them with any questions. There were even nice dog-friendly touches! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cabin!
