I am SO glad we found this space. Even staying in the middle of winter was a dream. Maybe even better because we had the beaches and town to ourselves it felt like. I can’t wait to come back to Gibsons and stay here again, would do so in a heartbeat. Truly walkable to town, beautiful beach is right there… just the best. Just book it! You won’t regret it.

I really enjoyed my visit to Lauri's Tiny Seaside retreat. It was actually bigger than I had expected which is always nice. It felt so comfortable that I was able to relax and enjoy some crafting which was the whole point of the visit. This was my first time to the sunshine coast and left a great impression. Highly recommend this location.

Alison’s place is old but spacious and well situated with a very nice view and a quiet neighborhood. The amount of utensils, pans, cutlery, plates, glasses etc. were far better than most Airbnb’s, plenty of everything. The washer and dryer were much appreciated. There is a TV but you need your own input device. That said I’d certainly stay there again.

Sarah was a fabulous host and was pros to e in helping with directions and what was open on Galiano island given that it isn’t peak season. Her place and the property and the view were beautiful. I can’t wait to go back!

What's not to like? I stayed for three nights, visiting family at UBC. The place is very comfortable, well laid out, clean, and set up for a full stay. Exceptionally well stocked kitchen. Hosts were fully communicative about everything and I had no hitches nor any trouble with logistics. Comfortable, very private, cozy, and a nice gas fireplace to keep it well heated. Well kept bathroom and bedroom, separate from the main room. It's located just steps from all the restaurants and shops you may want, water views a few blocks away and a 5 minute drive to UBC. Nothing missing here and nothing more to ask for. Good for a couple, or two with a small child. I was very happy with my stay and would absolutely come back if it's available next time.

This place is a daylight basement with partial view of the bay and a great view of the stream that runs from the south edge of Birch Bay State Park north to the bay. We saw lots of bird activity. The place is tastefully decorated in a seaside theme and is quite spacious, especially for only 2 people. There are plenty of beds for a medium family. 2 Kayaks with PFDs were provided and we were able to launch from the stream bank just below our apartment and paddle upstream to the State Park. We even managed to disturb some eagles so got to see them flying over us chattering and screaming as we paddled by. Be aware that there is only a toaster oven and charcoal grill for oven type foods. The stove top worked well for us. There is also a nice microwave and full sized refrigerator. The hot tub was a nice addition. The bay way easy walking distance away. The public walking path and beach was a bit further north and was a very nice walk for us, and there was plenty of parking for access too.

A repeat visit. I love that peaceful, beautiful property. My dog totally enjoyed trying to catch the waves and was fascinated by the movement of the water. Once again, even though I stayed for five nights I didn’t want to leave.

This was one of the best stays in our lives. The place, the views, the feelings was something out of ordinary. We loved the place from the very first moment we found it on the Internet and loved it even more when we arrived there. I would definitely recommend this place and would really like to go back there as soon as we plan another vacation.

Easy keyless entry, use of pool and hot tub, very cute place, responsive

We had a lovely time staying in Tammy’s home. It was really clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. She is very responsive and we were able to check in a bit early on our arrival. The bed is very comfortable and there is a lovely view of the water from the patio. We would definitely stay here again! The resort has a tennis court, lots of grills, one campfire pit, dock for crabbing or boats, beach for clamming. The property is very well kept. Thanks again Tammy for such a lovely stay!

Pat's place is awesome. We, a family of four - two adults and two kids (one is at teen age and another one is younger), spent a great long weekend there. Bright, cozy condo with great view from almost any window. It fits all of us, has a nice kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Heated pool with a hot tub, which we and kids enjoyed, just downstairs. The Bay is very good for paddle boarding. We did twice over our stay. If tide is low, you can reach a tiny island where you can find lots of purple and orange sea stars, crabs, and oysters. Ladysmith and Nanaimo suggest great dinner options. Nanaimo also has a nice walkable Marina merging into Maffeo Sutton park. If you like hikes, we tried Extension Ridge Trail hike near Nanaimo and can strongly recommend it to anyone. Malahat Tower is a fun place to visit, just one hour of driving from "Inn of the Sea" resort, we've been there, and were not disappointed. Will definitely stay again at Pat's place.

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved that from one balcony we had a river view and the other a view of the bay. The home was comfortable and cozy for our family. Beds had nice, soft (and clean!) sheets, comfortable mattresses as well. Short walk to beach access and coffee shop which was a plus as well.

Host is so friendly and responsive! Absolutely loved how close we were to the beach. Such a cute place to relax! We appreciated the many recommendations around town😊

We had a wonderful stay! Had everything we were looking for -- waterfront location and set up well for children. The location and windows looking out onto the bay, islands, Straight of Georgia and across to Mt. Baker were what we loved most. Saw a lot of wildlife. Steps down to the water were nice too. House was otherwise set up well and as described. Highly recommend this location.

Just when you feel like you can’t find a better place than the last, one comes along that takes the cake. This is one of those. A really charming place that delivers in so many ways. Great location - peaceful, quiet, but not too remote, beautiful views of the water, ocean birds, and sunsets. The house itself is very well appointed. Quality furnishings - from the cozy couch to the plush king bed that raises and lowers to your preferred sleeping/lounging position. The kitchen is no less impressive, with every utensil you would need - and not cheap ones. From the high-quality sharp knives to the designer napkins. Same goes for the high grade soaps and lotions in the bathroom and a toilet that keeps your bum warm. And while some hosts put out a few crackers and cookies to greet guests, Lynn and Brad go way beyond. But I won’t spoil more surprises by getting too detailed. There may not be a lot of storage space, but they have more than compensated in other ways. Hats off to Lynn and Brad!

This is the place to stay on Salt Spring!! Absolutely stunning views through both French doors and the spacious deck. Gary was so helpful in allowing my partner and I to check in early. He helped us bring our bags down and get settled into our room. The room was spotless and had everything we needed including a kitchen and living room area. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, it was a dream. The hot-tub was a treat after a rainy and chilly day! They even had robes for the two of us so we wouldn’t freeze heading in and out of the hot tub. Gary made us breakfast in the morning served on the deck overlooking the harbour. The scone was phenomenal and the omelette was probably the best one I’ve ever had. Truly was a wonderful stay on Salt Spring and will be coming back!! Highly recommend!!

The beach house was very charming and quaint. My family thoroughly enjoyed listening to the waves of the ocean and taking in the beautiful views.

Perfect place for a family vacation. Beautiful location, fantastic and well appointed home. The hosts are super responsive and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect - they even provided 2 baby gates for the stairs upon request - I really appreciated that!

Rachel's suite was cozy and bright. We appreciated the stay and clear instructions on how to find the suite, even in the dark!

Beautiful cozy place right on the water with access to a private beach. Will definitely go back! Everything was as described and the host let us check in early which was greatly appreciated! It’s a cozy spot with a full kitchen, two full washrooms, and an amazing deck. Even in the winter it was great 👍 Highly recommended
