I wish I could give more stars because this Air BnB deserves a 6 out of 5. The cottage was quaint, cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Although there was only 1 shower for our party, we never ran out of hot water and had great water pressure. More notably, the view from the cottage was absolutely breathtaking in the day and night. The view of the North Atlantic ocean, surrounded by a green landscape of mama sheep and their babies, and the mountains in the backdrop was out of this world. At night, the stars were brighter than I'd ever seen. To top it off, Cathal was such a fantastic host! He was very proactive with his instructions which included providing a welcome ebook for our party with all the check-in/check-out instructions, local attractions, etc. We had 5 children with us which was more than the space could accommodate, but Cathal had an additional twin bed set up just for our stay. His kindness and hospitality was greatly appreciated and we can't wait to visit again!

Both David and Lorna were the kindest hosts. It was for my husbands birthday and Lorna was kind enough to make a cake. We also ordered dinner from her bus menu which was delicious. The view was gorgeous and the bed was one of the comfiest I have ever stayed in. There was a little hike to a seating area which was very nice and also had incredible views. Thank you so much to both David and Lorna for such a fantastic experience

Helen's place is just like the description. It is attached to their main house but is very private and quiet. The gardens and scenery surrounding the house are beautiful. This was the perfect spot for my husband and I to explore the Dingle Peninsula without being right in town. Helen's partner (Morris?) met us when we arrived and gave us a brief tour and explanation about the heating system (very simple switch in the kitchen). We ate one meal in and one meal out. When cooking, we had everything we needed- there are several pots and pans and utensils to use and LOTS of seasonings, dressings, and sauces in the cupboards and small refrigerator- there were even some pasta and rice. We did 1 load of laundry but the weather wasn't great so we ended up hanging our things inside the space to dry (there is a washing line outside or a dryer for an extra charge). The place was a bit humid after showers but opening a window or 2 helped. The king bed was very comfortable. We had a great stay.

Our family of 5 enjoyed the most wonderful stay at Jill’s lovely cottage overlooking the serene and stunningly beautiful hills down to the bay. This was exactly the Irish experience I’ve been dreaming of, small roads where occasionally we had to pull over to make way for cows on their way to being milked, baby lambs in the surrounding fields, a charming cozy and extremely comfortable cottage that felt like home. (The kids LOVED the second floor!) Morning walks into the hills. 10 min drive to the pretty town of Dingle (shops pubs cafes and some foodie restaurants plus an aquarium, and boat tours and water activities for the warmer months) and the start of the gorgeous Slea Head Drive with its breathtaking views. We took a day trip to Killarney and stopped off at inch strand beach for the sunset on our way back. Jill was amazing- great recs we never would have found on our own (ask for Seamus to give you a tour!) and so welcoming and awesome even from far away. Highly recommended!!!

I was looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway with mountain views and coastal walks in west Cork. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. The cottage itself has been very thoughtfully renovated, with a lovely blend of old and new. Downstairs, the fireplace made for some tranquil evenings reading, and the well-equipped kitchen and dining table made for some memorable home-cooked meals, always with those stunning views. The bedroom upstairs was incredible - large and comfortable, the large window over the bed looking out onto the hills behind, and it felt incredible waking up to the morning light. Even more delightful was the sound of newborn lambs all around, and my neighbours: two donkeys and a mare, who had just foaled the morning I was leaving. While I mostly stayed put, Castletownbere is only a short drive away, and the picturesque Healy Pass and Ring of Beara among the best drives in the country. The hosts could not have been kinder and more helpful. I will return!

This is a beautiful home that has everything you need and more. We had a wonderful time and wished we could stay longer. It was cosy and warm and we loved the wood burning stove. Beds are extremely comfortable. The views are stunning and hot tub is a super addition. Roisín is a fantastic host, extremely proactive and responsive. Thanks for everything!

This was the perfect place! Great location and extremely accessible to Dingle and beaches. Cottage was perfectly clean and comfortable! We checked in a bit late and a fire had been started for us before our arrival so the cottage was very toasty. Special touches such as fresh flowers and breakfast goodies were left as well. Such a lovely treat! Incredibly peaceful surroundings and gorgeous setting. Communication was prompt and checking in and out easy and clear. Pictures don’t do it justice! We definitely would stay again!

This is such a beautiful and unique place. The pod is located in such a calm area, but still close by to Dingle for dinner or groceries. The view from the pod is stunning. The stars at night and the birds in the morning make it magical. We spoke with Chris and he knew so many great spots in the neighborhood. He also told us a lot about the nature and history of the area. The pod is super cozy and welcoming.

The cottage was enchantment itself - but imagine how it would have looked if we had arrived a week later when it would have been coated with snow. Most evenings were spent seated on the comfortable settee before a hot stove which the Frenchie made with the firewood which Cait had kindly left out for us. We spent our breakfasts - peering out at the little birdies in front of the window. So as well as feeding the birdies - Cait left some nice treats for us as well. Perfect location - only around a twenty minute drive to Dingle where you can find all the restaurants, pubs, Supervalue, fashion shops etc. I hadnt imagined it to be so energetic and so brightly lit. We followed the Slea Head Way - particularly the trail of 'Ryan's Daughter' - and absolutely loved walking around Dun Chaoin Harbour. In Ballyferriter we enjoyed listening to Irish being spoken and enjoyed bowls of chowder in the pubs there. We went on the Conor Pass and enjoyed lakeside walks in Glanteenassig Forest Park.
